Unicorn Bullet Journal Theme: Plan With Me

Sharing is caring!

In August, I’m starting a new journal! This is exciting but also a bit scary because, of course, I want to make it perfect! So I had to think twice about what theme to choose.

And I decided to go with something magical. Yes, my August Bullet Journal theme is Unicorns! Check out the pages and supplies I used in this “plan with me” post.

Starting a new journal is always exciting and scary! So if you’re in the same boat as me and just starting, I thought I’d share with you how I overcame these fears.

Be sure to check out this post – How To Overcome First Page Fear.

I actually ended up loving this theme so much, that I redid it again for June 2019 as my birthday theme.

Bullet Journal Supplies

Before we go into the post, I wanted to share with you what stationery I used for this setup. First of all, the journal – I’m starting to use a Nuuna journal.

I absolutely love it, but it’s not perfect. So check out my detailed Nuuna notebook review!

If you saw my Instagram, you noticed I’m using a cover for my Nuuna. It’s a magnificent handmade cover by Cocoa Paper. It was a bit of an investment, but so far I can say it was absolutely worth it! I love it, and it makes me happy every day!

Next, of course, we have my favorite Sakura Pigma Micron liners – they are my go-to pens every time I need to draw something. And last but not least – the pastel set of Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

Bullet Journal Cover Page

I wanted the page to have a clean and light look, so I went for a very easy Unicorn drawing and simple lettering.

Monthly Log

Ok, one of the great advantages of Nuuna notebooks is the fact that it’s a bit bigger size than A5 (at least mine is because I took it in L Light size).

That means that each page is big enough to have many sections there. For example – my monthly page: I have enough space there to place my monthly calendar, my goals, and my to-do list and still end up with some area to write down important dates.

For all my headers I decided to use a brighter pink Tombow Dual Brush Pen, since I thought I wanted to stay with a pinkish color scheme but I found this one is a bit too bright for unicorn hair.

I think the contrast with black liner looks great! To make sure my dividing circles were straight – I used this amazing stencil.

Habit Tracker And Gratitude Log

Once Pinterest showed me this Pin, I knew these clouds would be perfect for my trackers! Yes, it might be a bit time-consuming to color each day in different colors, but I think it’s totally worth it!

They came out so nicely that I’m extremely motivated to keep up with ALL the habits and see the perfect rainbow by the end of the month.

If you want to have one in your Bullet Journal, I hand-drawn clouds like that for you, so head straight to the Resources Vault or signup in the form at the end of the post.

Gratitude log is something I do every month. This time I decided to make it in a new format and just write my daily gratitude in one word.

Brain Dump

I love this spread, and I try to have one monthly.

This is what keeps me on low-stress levels – here, I can write all the ideas and dates and tasks which have no other place. It’s super fun later to look at these as well since sometimes you can catch some very interesting and original ideas.

Since I’m having many creative goals this month and I’m planning to develop as many ideas as possible, my goal was to leave a lot of free space. So just a simple header for this page.

Weekly Spreads

I usually set up my journal as I go, so I set up a new weekly Sunday before the week starts. But I do upload all the weekly spreads once the month is over, so here they are.
