Easy Cute Winter Doodles

Winter is the perfect doodling season. You can cozy up with a hot cocoa, your favorite pens, a warm blanket, and fully dive into the winter vibes.

I find it especially comforting if you can actually stay home in the warmth while it’s snowing outside.

But no matter what winter looks like wherever you’re at, you can bring any vibes you want to your next doodling session, and here are a few inspirations for some fun doodles you can do this season.

Below, you’ll find some pages with doodles and/or doodling tutorials I’ve drawn, as well as some from other creators. That way you get a variety of ideas and styles to choose from!

Step-by-Step Winter Doodles

Let’s start with a little winter doodle tutorial I’ve created. I think this was for my winter bucket list, so it’s more about activities I can enjoy during this season.

As you can see, anything is easy to doodle when you break it down into simple steps.

Winter Doodles

I love these doodles; they look so cute and adorable in their own imperfect style. Somehow, this doodling style makes them feel warmer and closer to me. Would you agree?

This is a perfect inspiration for beginners, because it shows that your doodles don’t have to be perfect with straight lines and even sides; they have to reflect your style and personality, and it will automatically make them good.

Easy Winter Doodles

This is a set of winter doodles I created for my cozy doodling session. I think they look cute on kraft paper – perfect for cold winter evenings. And as you can see, you can create something pretty even if you just use one pen.

In this post, I think the fact that I used a kraft notepad really adds up to the doodles. The brown paper color really makes it all look a bit more cozy.

Simple Winter Sketches

Speaking of doing a lot with just one pen, here are some more doodling inspirations, and as you can see, you can create a lot with just one pen; you don’t need a lot of colors to create a chilly winter feeling.

As you can see, this creator really made it very clear what basic shapes each doodle is made of. Like you can see that the pine tree is a set of triangles and a coffee cup is a set of rectangles.

These doodles are a perfect inspiration for a beginner!

Winter Drawing Ideas

These doodles look incredible, and I absolutely adore the color scheme the artist chose here. Yes, they are pretty Christmas-coded, but most of them work perfectly just for winter as well, especially if you try a different color palette.

One thing I really admire about these doodles is the creator’s blending ability. Tombow Dual Brush pens that they used are very good for blending, but this is just another level. It looks to be like the creator might’ve used the method of blending these watercolor brush pens with water.

Winter Doodles

I like how the creator played with the black-and-white contrast by filling in parts of the doodles in black. I think it really helps make them stand out and look a bit more interesting.

And another tip from me – all doodles look cuter if you make them a bit smaller like these.

Christmas Doodles

Christmas is part of winter, maybe even the best part if you ask around, so I definitely had to include some Christmas doodles here, especially when they are step-by-step and are as cute as these!

As you can see in these tutorials, each doodle is really just a set of basic shapes. Once you learn to see things as basic shapes, you’ll find that you’ll be able to draw anything you want.

Aesthetic Winter Drawing Ideas

These look absolutely stunning. The creator used pencils, I think, and it really gave me that retro-cozy vibe I rarely see these days. Absolutely perfect for winter doodles!

Easy Winter Doodle Ideas

Here are a few easy-to-follow tutorials for winter-staple doodles. In just a few steps, you can have these cute doodles on your journal pages as well!

These are very beginner-friendly- they take just a few steps and are simple to recreate. But just because they are easy to draw doesn’t mean they are less cute and pretty than any of the other doodles on this list.

Winter Essentials Doodles

I love when the creator chooses something more niche, like this was about winter essentials, and suddenly you can see so much inspiration for winter clothing drawings! And the colors are beautiful.

Simple Christmas Drawing Ideas

These are very easy to doodle things, and yet they perfectly capture the holiday season. I also really like how the artists chose the very traditional color combination here.

Also, these tutorials clearly show you how you can create cute doodles in just three steps! You don’t need to be a professional designer with years of experience to get your doodles to look nice.

December Doodles

Even though the artist says these are December doodles, I think most of them can easily work in most winter months; you might just make a few color adjustments to make them less Christmas-coded. Either way, these doodles look adorable!

How To Doodle Winter

I love the header the creator used for these doodling tutorials, and I think the doodles they chose perfectly encapsulate the cold and beautiful winter.

Black And White Winter Doodles

These beautiful, highly detailed winter doodles have all the essentials you need to not just survive but thrive in the cold months.

A tip from me for drawing doodles with just one pen (which I think this creator also followed): try adding more details to your doodles, even if it’s just a few decorative lines. It would really make them look so much better.

Snowflake Doodles

Last but not least, here are a few ideas and inspiration for drawing snowflakes. After all, each snowflake has a unique design, so it’s fun to see how you can play around with it.
