Bullet Journal Supplies Recommendations
Of course, you’ll need some supplies. And even though you can do a lot with whatever stationery you already have, it’s always extra fun to use special pens and markers that you love and enjoy.
So in case you want some recommendations, here are some of my favorites:
- Calliograph pens. They come in beautiful colors and have two brush tips, so you can use them for coloring and for creating different sizes of headers. (you can also get 10% off with my code MASHA10)
- Fineliners. These are the blood of every Bullet Journal page, and I recommend getting Sakura Pigma Micron.
- Book stencil. An easier and definitely faster way to add book doodles to your Bullet Journal.
- Letter stamps. I feel like it fits so well with all the book pages. And it will allow you to have many fun and unique headers.
OK, I can talk about statisobility nonstop for hours, so let’s just cut it here and move straight into the different book trackers.
Book Tracker Bullet Journal Page Ideas
Just like with all the other pages, there are so many ways to make your book tracker look different and fit your own personal style. In this post, I've gathered trackers from 17 talented creators, each bringing their own creativity to this layout.
Let's dive in and look at what can be done with a book tracker idea and enough creativity.
Let's start from my own book tracker, and I love to always go colorful and decorative. To be fair, you can't fit a lot of books, but it fits my own reading pace.
You don't have to follow my example, you can definitely track your books in a list format, and it can still look beautiful and stylish. I love how many extra details you can fit if you're using this format.
I absolutely adore the illustrative approach this creator took. And that way there is actually a lot more space if you need to add a few extra recommendations.
Bookshelf is a very popular format for a book tracker, and for a reason - it always looks great! This one has much more space for more books to add, while still keeping it stylish and decorative.
Another way to track your books is by creating a layout like this, with little covers for each book you've read. I love it, and it's full that the creator also added an area to rate the books.
If you want to have a bookshelf tracker that is decorative but also has a lot of space for all the books you're planning to read, maybe using two pages like this creator did is a good idea to explore.
This is a book tracker and kind of a yearly reading review. `I love that the creator actually drew all the book covers, it seems like such a fun thing to do!
This book tracker took a different approach - this is not just a bookshelf but a whole cozy space for you to enjoy reading. I love all the details, and I think keeping it in black and white really adds to the style of the entire page.
Turning a drawing of an open book into a book tracker is such a creative idea! Even though you have to add your books vertically, it's so worth it!
Here is another bookshelf tracker. I appreciate that the creator included a feature to easily count all the books, as well as color coding for rating.
If you want to go with a list format, something you can do is to enhance the header for your tracker. I love this floral font, the doodles contrast well against the dark black of the letters.
We all know how dragons are famous for hoarding gold, I think it's a very fun idea to create a nerdy dragon who is hoarding books instead!
As somebody who is doing a lot of audiobooks, I love the idea of having a separate tracker for them. After all, it's all books, but the medium is different.
This actually seems more like a bucket list for reading, but it's also a book tracker at the same time. I love the colors and the book pages the creator used to decorate this layout.
I must say, dresser is not the first thing I think about when considering an idea for a book tracker, but now that I see it, I absolutely love it! And as always, this creator's pages are always so neat.
This is a beautiful minimalist approach to a book tracker, and I love it. The circle part is also a reading tracker, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how it works!
This is a fun way to track your books, where you have a list on one side and cover pages on the other. You don't need to commit to just one format - use both!
