It’s the perfect way to capture all your holiday wishes and plans. From baking gingerbread cookies and decorating the tree to watching classic Christmas movies, your Bullet Journal can hold all these delightful activities.

With each task you tick off, you’ll feel the satisfaction of making the most out of the season. So, grab your journal, let your creativity flow, and start crafting your very own Christmas story.

After all, isn’t that what Bullet Journaling is all about?

I love creating bucket lists. For me, it’s a great way to keep life spicy.

It’s easy to get sucked into a routine and keep doing the same thing. Then one day you wake up and realize you missed all the fun things you could’ve been doing.

Does that sound relatable? It happened to me more than once until I discovered the bucket list!

A bucket list reminds us of the fun things we love to do. That way, you won’t have to spend energy planning the weekend; just look at the bucket list and choose an activity.

You can make a bucket list for anything. It can be seasonal, like a Fall bucket list (my favorite to create), a life bucket list, or a holiday-themed one, like the ones in this post.

Today we are talking about the Christmas bucket list, so let’s see what things you can add.

Oh, and before we dive in, check the end of the post for Christmas freebies and more inspiration.

Christmas Bucket List Ideas

A bucket list is a list of things you love doing. But it can also be very difficult.

The other day, my friend asked me to describe my perfect day. It included me working and walking with the puppy. She was in shock!

I didn’t include any meetings with friends or cocktails on the beach. Why? Because my brain is so used to my current routine that I didn’t even consider them.

So here’s a tiny list of things you can do for Christmas. Maybe some of these are the ones you love doing. And if not, at least they will jolt your brain to think outside the box.

  • Make a gingerbread house
  • Have hot cocoa with marshmallows
  • Christmas playlist
  • Watch Christmas movies
  • Go caroling
  • Kiss under the mistletoe
  • Christmas manicure
  • Go ice skating
  • Make a gourmet hot chocolate
  • Get an ugly Christmas sweater
  • Random act of kindness
  • Build a snowman
  • Leave cookies for Santa
  • Make a garland
  • Roast chestnuts
  • Make an advent calendar

Hopefully, these ideas left you imagining your perfect holiday season, so let’s dive into different bucket list inspirations.

Stationery Recommendations

Before we look into the Bullet Journal pages, I thought we should talk about supplies. After all, the right pen can really add so much joy to creating!

So, while you can create stunning bucket lists with any supplies you already have, here are some of my favorites, especially for Christmas-themed pages.

  • Sakura Pigma Micron – fineliners are your best friend for creating any Bullet Journal page. These are amazing, have incredible archival ink, and come in sets with different nib sizes, so you get more variety.
  • Seasonal Planner Stickers by Clever Fox. This huge set of 600+ stickers is for every holiday imaginable, including plenty of Christmas stickers.
  • Tombow Fudenosuke. These pens are not just perfect for brush lettering (especially for beginner), but also for doodling and drawing. And since it has a small brush tip, it is perfect for smaller headers like the ones you need for weekly spreads.
  • Christmas Washi Tapes. This beautiful set of holiday-themed washi tapes is perfect for decorating your journal and adding a spark of holiday joy in no time.
  • Tombow Dual Brush Pens. These are some of the most popular brush pens out there for both their quality and the amount of colors available. You’ll definitely find among them your perfect Christmas colors!

Now with all the supplies ready, let’s look into those bucket list pages!

Christmas Bucket List Bullet Journal Page Ideas

Looking at other people’s work can spark a chain reaction of creativity. Seeing how they’ve brought their pages to life can open up a world of possibilities for my own journal. It encourages me to step outside my comfort zone and try something new, something different.

So, let’s embark on this journey of discovery together. Let’s dive deep into the ocean of inspiration and see what treasures we can uncover.

We will start with my own page, sicne in all my years I’ve only created one Christmas bucket list. This is probably a drawback of living abroad, where Christmas isn’t really celebrated, or I don’t have the opportunity to go back to my family for the holiday.

But I have one, and after that, we will see what others come up with, using their own things and unique aesthetics.

Simple Bucket List

That year, I kept my bucket list to a few items instead of too many, so it wouldn’t feel overwhelming, and I knew these were simple things I could actually do and that would bring the joy of the holiday. And of course, as a big fan of doodling, I added little doodles for each activity.

Ultimately, these little things helped me get into the holiday mood, and in the end, they did their job.

Christmas Bucket List

It’s such a straightforward concept, yet it’s executed with such elegance that it takes on a whole new level of appeal. The cursive handwriting clearly stands out here.

This is a beautiful example of how you can create something inspiring without spending hours on a layout.

Kraft Paper Christmas Bucket List

Oh, how I adore using kraft paper in my Bullet Journal! It’s like wrapping your thoughts and ideas in a warm, cozy blanket.

Now, imagine pairing this with a Christmas bucket list. Brilliant, right? The rustic charm of kraft paper, paired with the joyous spirit of the holiday season, creates a concoction too delightful to resist. It’s like having your very own Christmas storybook, right there in your Bullet Journal!

Scrapbooky Bucket List

I love how each Bullet Journal creator brings their own unique flair to their Christmas bucket lists!

This creator chose a scrapbooking style, and let me tell you, it’s making my heart do the jingle bell rock. It definitely brings me back to my scrapbooking days.

This style is so creative, and it’s a great reason to bring out all your stickers, washi tapes, and colorful paper you have been keeping without a clear idea of where to use them.

Doodly Christmas Bucket List

I know I said I only made one Christmas bucket list, but I have been bullet journaling sicne 2018, and a lot of things have been forgotten in my brain, including this page I randomly found while flipping through my old journals.

As you can see, I went for a very similar doodle-style bucket list, but this time it focused more on the things I could do at that time, and because I used a B5 journal, I had space for more activities.

Framed Bucket List

Here is a very cute bucket list, and it’s a fun idea to pair a bucket list with a short holiday quote.

This is also a wonderful example of how much, and how beautiful, a layout can be when you use stationery as shortcuts. You can see the creator used stickers for each activity and washi tape to create a cute little frame around the bucket list.

Holiday Bucket List

This bucket list is like stepping into a wonderland of cuteness!

And can we please take a moment to appreciate the handwriting here? It’s absolute goals, my friends!

I absolutely adore how the creator divided it into two sections: ‘things to do’ and ‘movies to watch’. It’s such a clever way to organize your thoughts and plans. That way, you know where to look to find the exact thing you want to do right now.

Gingerbread Christmas Bucket List

Isn’t this bucket list just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? I can’t get over those delightful variations of gingerbread cookies – they almost look good enough to eat!

And let’s not forget the botanical frame encircling the bucket list. It’s such a simple touch, but it adds so much charm to the page. Plus, it serves as a lovely border that neatly sections off the bucket list, keeping everything tidy and organized.

Christmas Bucket List Bingo

Transforming a traditional Christmas bucket list into a game of bingo is nothing short of ingenious. It’s like sprinkling a dash of playfulness onto our goals.

Think about it – there’s something inherently exciting about the prospect of crossing off five things in a row to score that satisfying ‘BINGO!’ It motivates us to get started, adding a layer of anticipation and fun to the whole experience.

And who knows, you might just end up completing more than one line!

Watercolor Christmas Bucket List

I have to say, this bucket list has stolen my heart with its utter cuteness and coziness. The watercolor work here is truly something to admire; I love the calm, gentle feeling you can achieve with this medium.

I’m also impressed that the creator managed such clear handwriting with watercolor; I wish my skill would let me do it with a watercolor brush.

Cozy Warm Christmas Bucket List

Every now and then, I come across a Bullet Journal spread that just makes me stop and admire, and this cozy bucket list is one of them. The artist has worked magic with only two colors, proving that simplicity can indeed lead to diversity.

And you know what else caught my eye? Those tiny doodles scattered all over the page. Small doodles add an extra dose of cuteness to any layout.

But this page’s beauty isn’t just in its visual appeal. It also inspires us to explore our creativity. It shows us that we don’t need a rainbow of colors to create something beautiful. Sometimes, all it takes is a couple of shades and a little imagination.

Bucket List For The Holidays

This buckdet list looks phenomenal, and because of the two pages, the creator was free to be as fun and elaborate as they wanted.

I love the header and how perfect the colors are for the season. As I can see, the creator used these Pentel brush pens. They are actualy very easy to use and control and come in many more different colors.

Christmas Magic Bucket List

I love the retro feel of this layout; it seems like the creator took inspiration from vintage letters and postcards.

I also think it’s very clever that they added only 12 simple things to do to this list. Each item is easy to do, so it’s a little cheat sheet for getting into the holiday mood when you’re overwhelmed during the holiday season.

Minimalist Bucket List

This bucket list is an absolute visual treat! The attention to detail is mind-blowing, and the snowy forest scene at the bottom? Pure magic.

Now, I know I called this a minimalist bucket list, but let’s not be fooled. That tranquil forest scene must have taken time and patience to create. It’s a testament to the artist’s dedication and love for their craft.

Minimalist doesn’t necessarily mean quick or easy, and this bucket list is a perfect example.

Last Minute Christmas List

The beauty of this page lies in its clever mix of what looks like different types of paper, creating an appealing visual texture that draws the eye. Imagine my surprise when I discovered it wasn’t paper at all, but washi tape!

Between holiday preparations, end-of-year deadlines, and social gatherings, it often feels like we’re racing against the clock. And in the midst of all this hustle and bustle, it’s all too easy to let certain tasks or plans slip our minds until the very last moment. So having a last-minute bucket list is a possibility, and of course it’s better late than never, right?

Aesthetic Christmas Bucket List

I absolutely love the clean, gentle aesthetic of this bucket list page. As you can see, the creator mostly uses two main Christmas colors: green and red.

The gold accents really make a big difference, making the header stand out even more. From what I can see, the creator used a Uniball gold pen.

Best Of Christmas List

Barbara’s page is a delightful tribute to the joys of Christmas, rendered in her distinct and captivating style. Her creative prowess shines through every element, making it a must-include.

But what truly sets her work apart is the heartwarming sentiment behind it – a reminder of all the wonderful things we cherish about the holiday season. It’s not just a beautiful spread, it’s a celebration of love, joy, and the magic of Christmas, captured within the pages of a Bullet Journal.
