Using Printables In Your Journal

Let’s first have a few words on adding the printables to your Bullet Journal.

First of all, what do you need to add printables to your Bullet Journal? Well, not much, actually. But there are a few things you don’t want to mess up with (like I did and paid for it dearly).

So here are some supplies you’ll need:

  • Paper. This is very important! If you’re planning to use some markers and brush pens to decorate your printable, you need to have smooth, high-quality paper. Otherwise, it will damage your pens. I recommend HP Premium Paper.
  • Paper cutter. You can definitely use scissors, but I find that you usually get smoother edges with a paper cutter like Fiskars Precision Paper Trimmer.
  • Adhesive. You’ll need something to add your printables to your journal, and I don’t recommend using glue. An adhesive tape like Tombow MONO Permanent Adhesive will do a much better job.
  • Corner rounder. This is really something extra, but I thought I’d mention it. If your journal corners are round, you might find it helpful to have this tool to ensure that your printables match your journal. I’d recommend this one.

Another big question is always – how do you make printables fit your journal?

It’s quite easy, really. All you need to do is mark the correct size when you’re sending it to print. Choose the size for your journal, not the size of the printing paper, and it will print the right way.
