Let’s dive in!

Bullet Journal Stickers

Starting with the first and probably the most popular way to decorate your journal – stickers!

There are so many different colors and designs out there that you can definitely find something that fits your style and aesthetics.

Plus, there are stickers that are not just decorative but practical and can help you generally speed up your setups.

There are so many different brands of suckers, all in various styles and different colors. But here are a few of my favorites:

  • RoseKPaperCo – this is my favorite shop for stickers, she has stunning designs and a lot of both decorative and practical sticker designs.
  • ShineStickerStudio – I fell in love with this brand in 2020. They have quirky and fun sticker designs for all your planning needs.
  • ShopKitschyKawaii -this shop has the most adorable stickers in a very cute style. It will turn any page of your Bullet Journal kawaii in no time.

Washi Tape

If you’re in the Bullet Journal community, you definitely know about washi tape and might even have a few rolls in your collection.

Washi tape is a great way to add a spark of color and decoration to your Bullet Journal pages, and it serves a lot of functional purposes (see the end of the post for more details on that).

There are, thankfully, many colors, designs, and sizes of washi tape available. Here are just a few of my favorite places to shop for washi tape:

  • Washi Tape Shop – this is the top place to get washi tapes; they have all the possible colors and designs available, so you can find something that fits our style and aesthetics.
  • EmilyCromwellDesigns – incredible shop with brightly colored washi tapes you’ll love using.
  • PlannerEnvy – amazing store with stickers, washi tapes, and everything you need for your planning. They have 140+ washi tape sets with different colors and designs.

Bullet Journal Headers

Headers and titles are a great way to connect your theme and add creativity to your pages. You can play around with different fonts, banners, and colors to create something uniquely yours.

In this example, you can see how, for a Harry Potter theme, I created a header that is on theme with the magical world.

Be sure to check the end of the post for some more ideas and inspirations for your headers.

Bullet Journal Stencils

Stencils have both decorative and practical applications.

There are amazing stencils that will turn you into an artist right away. There are stencils that can help you draw beautiful flowers or add intricate lettering designs to your pages.

The practical stencils will help you set up pages faster and draw all your boxes and tables in no time at all.

Bullet Journal gift ideas - Jaydens Apple stencils | Masha Plans

There are many different laces where you can get some amazing stencils, and here are a few of my favorites:

  • Jaydens Apple – this is my go-to for stencils! They are sturdy metallic ones and will serve you for ages, plus there are plenty of both decorative and functional designs.
  • OopsaDaisyUK – this is an amazing shop of affordable stencils and I especially love their grid guide stencil, which is the best one you can get to hack your Bullet Journal.
  • MoxieDori – this shop has plenty of stencils, each built to help you rate different themed Bullet Journal pages. My favorites from this shop are the stencils for weekly planning.

Bullet Journal Stamps

Stamps are like sticker, but you can reuse them, making them a much better invesment if you ask me.

Plus, with stams you can stamp an outline and add the colors you like. Or you can use different colored ink.

Can you spot stamps on this page? They are pretty subtle, but a hint is that they are from a travel collection. I love using stamps for my memory-keeping pages or for practical elements like daily headers.

Here are a few of my favorite places for buying stamps:

  • SyncopationDesign – this tiny little shop has an amazing collection of clear stamps for all your planning and crafting needs with the most adorable designs.
  • RiraRiraHanko – Japanese stamps are some of the best on the market, and this shop has a huge collection full of custom and unique designs.
  • MandbShop – a beautiful shop full of practical tiny stamps, a lot of which can be used not just for your day-to-day planning but for mail as well.

Bullet Journal Doodles

Doodling is a skill to learn, but it really is not as difficult as you think! Anyone can doodle, you don’t need to have an art degree for that.

There is a link at the end of the post to help you with that. And once you master doodling, there will be nothing you can’t draw! There will be no theme you can’t create, and doodles will help you with that.

Brush Lettering

Brush lettering is again a skill you have to learn, but once you do, it will absolutely transform your Bullet Journal pages! Just having a beautifully lettered header can be all the decoration you need for your page.

If you want a faster solution, you could try using faux calligraphy instead.
