Supplies For Creating Headers
You can create beautiful headers with pretty much anything you have at hand. Truly, just your old ballpoint pen can work.
But since you’re here, chances are you’re looking to expand your stationery collection. So here are a few of my favorites.
- Sakura Pigma Micron – these pens are some of the best fineliners on the market. Their black archival ink will make all your headers look sharp.
- Tombow Fude Brush Pens – these small brush pens will allow you to create the most intricate headers, especially for smaller elements. Plus, of course, you can use them for brush lettering.
- Crayola Super Tips – when it comes to recommending markers, these are some of the best you can get. They come in so many colors! And they are pretty affordable.
- Bullet Journal Stencils – these will not just help you with setting up your Bullet Journal pages but also will allow you to easily create decorations and banners you can use to enhance your headers.
Now that you’ve got all the supplies at the ready, let’s dive into headers.
Aesthetic Header Ideas
Aesthetic headers are easy and fun to make and can really help tie together all the different pages of your Bullet Journal. There are tons of ways for you to show off your artistic ability through these eye-catching designs.
But to get your imagination flowing, here are a few stunning headers I know you'll love.
This is a beautiful set of headers! The pastel colors and the contrast with black ink really created that special aesthetic feel.
These beautiful headers have a little hint of Harry Potter, wouldn't you agree? Either way, the fact that the letters are all so small and cute really created the most adorable effect on these headers.
A lot of the special look of these headers is because of the impeccable brush lettering! But always remember, if you're not confident in your brush lettering skills yet, you can always try faux calligraphy.
The combination of these three colors really makes these ideas look so aesthetic. And it's amazing how many variations you can get with just three colors.
Headers are not just about your monthly headers; you can just as easily add spice to your daily and weekly logs with these ideas.
I know I've been talking a lot about using colors in your headers, but black and white headers might look just as stunning and aesthetic.
These beautiful headers really play around the contrast of pastel pink and very dark black lines. It's absolutely stunning!
I always find that when you pick a brown color scheme your headers get an extra stylish and cozy look, and these beautiful title ideas confirm that.
Wouldn't you agree that everything looks better when it's drawn on and written in a smaller size? These fonts are pretty simple, but they look absolutely stunning, especially with these small color accents.
We've had here a lot of beautiful examples in pastel and warm muted colors, but what about blue and purple? Check out these beautiful headers for examples!
A bit of kraft paper, a few strips of washi tape, and any header turns into an aesthetic masterpiece. I love the beauty these headers have in their simplicity.
One more beautiful set of headers; note how, for many of these, the artist added little elements around the headers. I think it created a very fun effect and made it look very on-theme.
Don't have anything in your collection apart from a set of highlighters? They are enough to create incredible headers, and here are some inspirations.
