Bullet Journal Green Weekly Spread Ideas
A Bullet Journal weekly spread is the perfect creative outlet to keep your life on track while expressing your personality. If you’re loving the idea of adding a fresh, calming vibe to your journal, a Bullet Journal green theme might be just what you’re looking for.
The color green has this incredible way of bringing together both energy and serenity, whether it’s through leafy patterns, pastel accents, or bold emerald strokes.
Plus, it’s so versatile—pair it with minimalist layouts or go all out with botanical designs. Let’s explore some inspiring ideas to turn your weekly spreads into a flourishing green masterpiece!
When thinking of a green theme in your Bullet Journal, you don’t have to limit yourself to just one approach.
Simply playing with shades of green can create a minimalist, cohesive look that keeps your journal chic without feeling overwhelming. From soft, minty hues that whisper calm organization to bold emeralds that energize your plans, green offers a huge range to suit your style.
Or you can take a different and more detailed approach by basing your green theme on some items that are green. Botanical doodles, for instance, are a timeless go-to that blends structure and whimsy effortlessly. You could scatter tiny succulent sketches around your to-do lists or adorn your weekly headers with leafy wreaths.
For something more playful, incorporate pine trees for a wintery vibe or tropical monstera leaves for a summery, jungle-inspired theme. These elements don’t just look beautiful—they make planning your week feel even more fun.
And it doesn’t stop there. Theme your green spreads around nature, food (avocados, limes!), or even abstract patterns like wavy lines and geometric shapes. The options are limited only by your imagination.
In this blog post, I’ve gathered quite a few ideas for you to keep your creative juices flowing and help you come up with your own unique theme idea.

Stationery Recommendations
First, let’s talk about Bullet Journal supplies you’ll need to create weekly spreads. Just remember that when you buy new supplies, get something that fits your style and aesthetics.
Here are some of my favorite supplies that I’m sure you’ll love as well:
- Fineliners. Black fineliners are the bread and butter of my journal and I can’t recommend them enough. Smooth, with very black ink, waterproof, and usually available with different tip sizes – fineliners will transform your weekly spreads! Some of my favorites are Faber Castell Pitt Artist and Sakura Pigma Micron.
- Markers. There are so many amazing markers to add color to your journal! My current favorites are Crayola Super Tips, since they come in many colors and plenty of shades of green. Some other options I love are Tombow Dual Brush Pens which are also available in many colors and can be used for brush lettering as well.
- Rulers and stencils. A while ago, when I just started journaling, I got these stencils off Etsy, and they really were a game changer!
- Washi tape. This is not something I use often, but at some point, I started getting into it, and it’s amazing how easily washi tape can add a creative spark to your page with no fuzz at all. For washi tape check Washi Tape Shop, they have all kids of sizes and designs available!
Ok, enough with stationery talk, let’s move to the main topic of this post – inspirations for weekly spread to try in your Bullet Journal.
Bullet Journal Green Weekly Spread Ideas
Green is a beautiful color, and everyone on this list went so creative with their take on this theme! You can see all the different creators using different ideas to use more of their green-colored pens collection.
I'm sure here you'll find something that will inspire your unique approach to the theme, so let's dive in and see those stunning weekly pages.
Pandas are adorable creatures, and you'd think it's a black and white theme, but look at all the greenery this creator so seamlessly integrated into this weekly layout. It's adorable and I love the gold accents Julia added.
You don't actually have to get all extra and spend lime doodling and drawing to have a pretty green weekly spread. Look at this layout; it's practical, and the creator just added a few green accents to create a cohesive look. The little quote is actually a little fitting with the green color scheme.
Remember that you can absolutely use anything green colored to create a theme, like this creator who used avocado as a theme. I love how it came out, and the little flashes of brown symbolize the pit of the avocado.
I love this weekly spread with its different and unusual sizes for daily boxes. I don't know what's the theme here, but it's a fun way to add a color scheme by creating a sort of frame around your weekly spread.
I admit this weekly format and how much information the creator manages to fit in just two pages. A good structure is really key! And I love how, with all the structure, the creator still added character and style with the green color.
Green is a natural color, and I love how the creator of this weekly layout was definitely inspired by it. Little shades of green and beautiful photos of nature create a p[perfect ambiance.
If you want to create a beautiful weekly layout but keep it to a minimum, here is a wonderful inspiration for you. It had minimal decoration but, at the same time, looked aesthetic and stylish. This layout is a perfect example of putting a blank space to good use.
Here is a beautiful example of how stunning green looks on black pages! But to be able to get this effect on black pages, you'll need some gel pens or maybe pain pens so the color stands out better.
I absolutely adore the different shades of green the creator used here and how well they match. It's also a very interesting structure for a weekly spread; definitely something to try.
This lovely weekly spread is pretty simple, but I love how it came together. It's a mix of beautiful brush lettering for daily headers and simple but stylish little doodles. I bet it wouldn't even take that long to set up this weekly layout!
Here is a fun take on a weekly spread: try using green-colored paper for daily boxes. It will add color and fun to the layout while also being functional.
This is such a cute theme! I love the adorable font the creator used for the header for the spread and how well it works together with these cute little dinosaurs.
A great way to play with shades of green is to use watercolor. I love how, for this weekly log, the creator mixes green and yellow to achieve that fun, almost chemical-looking color.
If you want or need more space for your weekly planning, a Dutch door can be a good solution for you. And you can always decorate it with all the greenery like this page!
Here is an easy way to add a bit of green to your weekly spread - assign one little green doodle for each day of the week. In this case, the creator chose cacti, which is perfect since they are pretty easy to draw.
Remember how I said that anything green could be a great idea for turning your pages green? Well, here is an example for you - use matcha as a theme for your weekly spread of maybe the entire month.
Any green theme can help you bring that color to your journal pages, but you can also use all of them! Look at this stunning weekly - cacti doodle, avocado, matcha boba tea - it has it all!
A simple green background for the headers on your weekly spread sections can be just as effective in adding color to your Bullet Journal as adding beautiful doodles and illustrations.
I love houseplants, even though I can't keep any of them alive for longer than a few months. But they always live on Bulelt Journal pages! So, I really fell in love with this weekly layout. It also gets extra points from me for using kraft paper; I always think it adds a special style to any layout.
