Weekly spreads are what I call work hours of your day-to-day planning, and each year there are so many to create! That’s why it’s always a good idea to have some inspiration, so you can bring a bit more fun and functionality and help make planning more interesting.
I’ve been really obsessed with one-page weekly spreads lately, and for a good reason.
They still give you enough space to plan, they are usually much faster to set up, and even more than that, they are just one page, so you don’t need to overthink the decorations.
But that being said, it doesn’t mean your one-page weekly layouts are boring; you can still decorate and customize them to no end. And this is what I’ll be sharing with you here in this post.
Oh, and be sure you scroll until the end and get your FREE printable weekly spreads, which you can start using right away in your Bullet Journal.

Stationery Recommendations
But first, let’s talk about stationery since you’ll obviously need some for creating your weekly spreads.
So here are a few of my favorites that I’m sure you’ll love and find useful as well.
- Fineliners. These are the basics for every Bullet Journal page, perfect for drawing and doodling. I recommend Sakura Pigma Micron, which also comes in a set with different nib sizes, allowing you a variety of line thicknesses.
- Markers. If you want to add color to your pages, you’ll need some markers. Your choice will depend on what colors you like. My top choices are Zebra Mildliners and Tombow Twin Tone.
- Brush pens. To add beautiful brush lettering to your weekly spreads, you need a good set of brush pens. I recommend Tombow Fudensuke since they are smaller tips and pretty easy to master. If you’re looking for a larger brush pen and something with tons of colors, you can’t go wrong with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
- Stencils. These little helpers are great to allow you to set up your weekly spreads faster. I recommend these weekly spread stencils that are built specifically for your weekly pages.
Ok, now you have all the supplies with you, let’s take a look at a few weekly spreads to inspire your next weekly setup.
Bullet Journal One Page Weekly Spread Inspirations
There are so many amazing weekly spreads to share, but I don't want to make you feel overwhelmed, so here I'll only share 17 layouts. And if you want more - check out a few links at the end of the post with even more weekly spreads for you to try.
Let's dive in!
As much as I personally can't really do minimalist style, I think it looks absolutely stunning, and it is perfect for a one-page weekly. You have a layout that looks stylish and also has plenty of space for everything you need in your weekly spread.
This is actually a weekly spread from my very first Bullet Journal in 2018. And I know there is no weekend here, but there is actually plenty of space to fit the weekend if necessary.
One page weekly is perfect for such a detailed and structured format. It helps you clearly divide all the sections, even though they are very close to each other. I also really like the subtle color accents the creator used to decorate this page.
This design looks absolutely stunning, and the creator has managed to incorporate many incredible decorative elements. The technique of using white on black for the headers is one of my favorite ones, I think it always looks so good!
This is a very quick weekly spread I've created, since I used stickers and washi tape, it really took minutes - I just needed to divide the page.
This layout looks incredible, and these floral drawings are so pretty and detailed! I also really like this approach - to have a big to-do list for the week and a little section for days of the week to enter anything that is time sensitive.
Even though this weekly is created on a notepad, the size is actually the same as your usual A5 notebook, so you can definitely adopt this format.
This layout looks amazing with the bright colors and the overall happy vibe. I also love how creative the artist got with the headers for the days of the week.
Sometimes you don't need intricate designs and drawings to add creativity to your page. This stunning weekly spread is a testament to it - the creator played with fun colors and little patterns, and already this layout looks different.
Just because you have a one-page weekly doesn't mean there is not enough space for you to explore your creativity or make the layout fit your current monthly theme.
A running to-do list is a perfect format to explore for a one-page weekly layout. In this particular one, I also really like how hot the artists chose to decorate it, especially the little piece of kraft paper.
Here is another inspiration for a floral layout, and I love how the creator used the flowers as a background for the big weekly header.
Anything can be a theme for your Bullet Journal, including something like fruits. This beautiful weekly is an example of that, and I love how the creator added fruits of different colors to add more variety to this weekly setup.
This weekly log is beautiful, and it's a very different idea to not just add decorations, but create an entire botanical pattern as a background for your weekly planning elements.
This is the last of my weekly spreads on the list. There aren't that many different elements here, but since I only need daily boxes to plan my days, it fits my needs perfectly.
I love this look of a weekly spread, where everything is in the boxes, including all the decorative elements. And the colors the artists chose look really good together.
Last but not least is the beautiful weekly layout. It impresses me how many different decorative elements the creator managed to fit, while keeping the layout functional.
