Fun & Creative Dot Journal Page Ideas
Today, let’s talk about some dot journal, or in other words, Bullet Journal page ideas, which are the perfect way to spark creativity and organization in your daily life.
No matter what you need help with, there are pretty much endless possibilities. You can turn your dot journal pages into any type of layouts to help you build a better and happier life, or just to have fun expressing your creativity.
In this post, we’ll explore fun and creative dot journal ideas that will inspire you to try new things in your BuJo and customise it even more to your life.

Your dot journal is basically a blank canvas, the one with a dot grid. But what it means is that there are no limitations set for you; you really can do anything you want on those pages.
This is a unique and fantastic trait that allows you to create something special that works best for your needs and your life.
Of course, such a wide variety of options actually means that it can be a tad overwhelming to choose what kind of pages to use, and this is where a list like this could come in handy.
I gathered some fun and creative dot journal ideas for you, some of which are very practical and help you be more productive, some of them are there to enjoy and add a spice of life to your days.
And be sure you scroll until the end to find even more ideas, as well as some FREE printables that you can add to your dot journal and start using right away.

Stationery & Dot Journals Recommendations
But first, let’s have a few words about stationery, since it’s an intricate part of your journaling adventures.
Here are a few of my favorite supplies and journals that I’m sure you’ll love using as well.
- Dot journals. There are so many incredible options out there, and in case you’re on the lookout, my two favorite brands are Archer and Olive (use code MASHA10 for 10% OFF) and Scribbles That Matter (use code SAVE10 to get 10% OFF).
- Fineliners. I think these are the basics of all your pages, and there are plenty of amazing ones. My favorites are Sakura Pigma Micron, which are also coming in different sizes, so you get a variety of line thicknesses.
- Markers. If you also like colors, you’ll need some markers to decorate your pages. The type of markers depends on the color you enjoy, but I’d definitely recommend Zebra Mildliners and Crayola Super Tips.
- Brush pens. Brush lettering is a great way to add interest and creativity to your pages. I’d recommend Tombow Fude for small tips and Tombow Dual Brush for large tip brush pens.
I can talk about stationery forever, so let’s keep this at that with just the most obvious items and instead go and dive into some page ideas for you to try.
13 Dot Journal Page Ideas
A lot of people start their journaling adventures with a certain goal in mind – to be more productive, to be more organised. But I think there is even more potential here.
Your dot grid journal can absolutely help you with more things; it can help you bring more joy to your life and take better care of yourself.
That’s why in this list I included a lot of different pages, each with its own different goal and benefits.
And one last thing, when it comes to dot grid journal page ideas – don’t try to use them all at the same time. This can lead you to feeling overwhelmed or that journaling has become a chore.
Try one or two at a time, see if it works for you, and if it doesn’t, let it go and move on to the next one.
With that out of the way, let’s dive in and look at these pages, in no particulart order.
Habit Tracker
Our life is defined by the small things we do every day. These tiny habits end up having a huge influence on how we live.
So it makes sense that if you change those, you’ll see a big change in your life as well, and a habit tracker is a fantastic way to help you build those new habits. It provides some extra motivation to help you keep on going.

Self Care Page
Self-care, I find, is something that we neglect a lot, but in fact, it’s very important for us to show some self-love and take care of ourselves.
A layout like this one will give you plenty of ideas right away, next time you’re feeling low and in need of some love. No need to spend energy trying to figure out what to do – this list has it all.

Cleaning Tracker
Cleaning is not a very fun activity, but unfortunately, there is no getting out of it. Thankfully, your dot grid journal can help you make it a bit easier.
If you create a little tracker and a schedule for our cleaning, you can easily turn this huge chore into small steps you can easily do as your year goes by, without it feeling overwhelming.

Weekly Spread
A weekly spread is what I call a working horse of your journal, since it’s the layout that helps you plan each day and ensure you’re getting all things done!
I will share here one image, but there are so many different styles and formats out there! Be sure you scroll until the end of the post to check for more.

Bucket List
I love the idea of a bucket list, it’s a wonderful reminder for you to step out of your daily routine and push yourself to plan and do something that truly brings you joy. I think this is a page that helps you fill your life with more memories and experiences.
And there are plenty of fun bucket lists you can create, from a whole life bucket list to a seasonal or travel bucket list.

Mood Tracker
This is a fantastic page that will help you to understand your emotions better and see if you need to adjust something in your life to be a little bit happier.
I think just the practice of noticing and understanding your emotions is already a very powerful thing to do and helps you grow, taking control of your emotions instead of the other way around.

Monthly Review Page
I find this to be a very powerful page. It’s a time to reflect on your last month and see what happened in your life.
You can use this page to track your progress on your goals and see what you’ve achieved. You can use it to help you track your mental health.
You can also add some elements about how the planning of your month went, so you know how you can set up your next month so it will work for you even better.

Book Tracker
Whatever your hobbies are, you can create a page that will help you enjoy them even more.
A book tracker is a wonderful way for you to monitor your reading in a visual way, or to create a list with all the books you want to read in one place, so you always know your next read.

Gratitude Log
This is probably my favorite page, and I definitely think everyone should give it a try. Basically, every day you write something that brings you joy or what you’re grateful for.
It’s a small thing, but over time it helps you build a more positive attitude and outlook on your life, appreciating all he small moments that bring you happiness.

Brain Dump
This is a fantastic page to offload your mind and help you start organising all your tasks and responsibilities.
I know we often just jot things down on a post-it note, but having it all in one place in your dot grid journal will help you start sorting through it all and planning how you’ll deal with each point.

About Me Page
I love an about me page, and if you follow me, you know that I create an about me page in every new journal I start.
I think it’s a fun layout to create; it’s almost like putting a slice of yourself on paper. It will forever be a page that shows you what your life was like at that point in time and what kind of person you were.
These pages are really fun to look back at as well and see how you’ve been growing and changing over the years.

Sleep Tracker
Having good sleep habits is very important and can be an absolute game-changer for your productivity and mental health.
That’s why it can be useful to have a sleep tracker, even if it’s just for a month. It will help you understand what you are doing wrong and customize your sleep routine to fit you the best.

Routine Page
Last but not least, I’d like to share this idea. Routines are a great way to help you preserve some of your mental energy and basically have more done with ease.
Some routines can help you be more productive, some are built to help you take better care of yourself, and others are there to help you manage your time.
Whatever your goals are, building a routine can help, and having a page outlining the routine can help you make it a habit.

And there you go, here are a few page ideas to help you get started or maybe to inspire you to start using your journal in new and creative ways.
As always, if you scroll down, you’ll get even more ideas to explore.
