Easy And Cute Doodles For Your Bullet Journal
Learning how to doodle is one of my favorite things to do! Today, I’m so excited to share some new step-by-step tutorials with you.
I find that doodling is such a great way to add a personal touch and a bit of fun to my Bullet Journal pages, as well as to generally unwind and explore your creativity, and I know you’ll love it too.
The doodles in this post are super simple and perfect for beginners. Even if you think you can’t draw, you’ll be surprised at how quickly you can create something amazing. Each one is an easy doodle that will instantly decorate your BuJo.
Let’s get creative.

Seeing all those pretty journal pages can be very intimidating, especially if you have never done anything creative like this before.
But trust me when I say – you absolutely can do it.
How do I know? When I started my first Bullet Journal in 2018, I couldn’t even draw a smiley face. And now I’m actually teaching others to discover their creativity within
It’s all about practice, so don’t be discouraged and start small.
These tutorials are a perfect first step to doodling.
Before we dive into that, though, be sure to scroll until the end to get some more tutorials and resources, as well as sign up for a FREE doodling course that will walk you step by step through all the tricks to master this creative skill.

Best Doodling Supplies
Before we look into the tutorials, let’s have a quick word on some stationery that I think will help you enjoy doodling more.
Of course, you can use anything you already have, but if you want a bit more, here are my favorites that I’m sure you will love as well:
- Notebook. I always think it’s a good idea to have a separate doodling notebook; that way, you have a journal with doodle ideas, and you can see your progress. You don’t need anything fancy for that; Lemome Dotted Bullet Notebook works just as well.
 - Pencil and eraser. A pencil is your secret weapon when it comes to doodling. Start all your doodles with a pencil, and you’ll be able to avoid a lot of errors and make it look better before you use a pen. You need a pencil with a comfortable grip and an eraser that won’t leave any streaks. I recommend Pilot Dr. Grip pencil and Sakura Foam eraser.
 - Fineliners. These are the best pens to do your doodling, and I definitely recommend using Sakura Pigma Micron – they come in a set with different nib sizes, so you get a variety of line thicknesses.
 - Colorful markets. If you like color on your doodles like I do, you’ll want to get some markers. I always recommend Crayola Super Tips, because they come in a pack of 100 colors and are very affordable.

Ok, now you have all your supplies ready, let’s dive in and look at some things that are easy to draw for you right away.

Ok, time to get to doodling.

We’re starting with a donut – a super easy doodle you can create with a few curved lines and ovals.
Plus, donuts would be a great Bullet Journal theme; just by playing with toppings, you can make them all look so different.

Easy Cheese Drawing
I love cheese so much; it’s delicious and comes in so many colors and flavors.
My puppy is a huge fan as well when he manages to steal some.
And you can doodle it in a few very simple steps with a few lines, triangles, and ovals.

Easy Coffee Doodle
I don’t know about you, but I run on coffee, so, of course, this set of tutorials wouldn’t be complete without a coffee doodle.
It’s simple to draw, and it will be a lovely addition to any Bullet Journal page.

How To Draw A Paintbrush
I don’t really use these much, but aren’t they a fun one to doodle?
And these would fit so well with a stationery or back-to-school Bullet Journal theme.

How To Draw A Birthday Cake
Super simple and such a festive doodle.
It can be a great theme for your birthday month or maybe just for one celebratory page.

Cute Umbrella Drawing
Umbrellas don’t sound that cute, but they definitely can be!
You can choose some fun colors, or maybe animate them and turn them into a frog-like in this tutorial.

How To Doodle A Pencil
Of course, stationery is my favorite thing to doodle, so I had to include a few tutorials here.
Or at least one of the ways to doodle a pencil, which is probably the easiest stationery supply to doodle.

Easy Travel Drawings
How fun is it to create a travel theme in your journal, or maybe just use travel doodles to decorate your planning pages for the next adventure?
These are some very easy ideas; it takes just three steps to get a full-on doodle.
And yes, I’m aware that the passport drawing somehow has a basketball on it. I really didn’t think about it when I was coloring them.

How To Draw A Candle
Candles are an amazing way to decorate your apartment and create a cozy atmosphere.
Like most girls, I’m super obsessed with candles and have several for different moods and different seasons.
So, of course, there had to be a candle drawing in this lineup, especially since they really are super easy to doodle.

Easy Snail Drawing
Since I’m writing this post in April, my mind is all about Spring.
So apart from an umbrella, I thought I could add a cute snail doodle as well.

How To Draw Sushi
I love sushi, it’s probably my favorite food in the whole world. Here’s a little doodle to convince you how cute this delicious food can be.
As you can see, simplt by adding a cute face tge doodle right away becomes much more frirndly and adorable.

How To Draw A Paper Airplane
This doodle is super simple and can be used in so many ways.
You can do a travel theme with it, or maybe the letter theme
I love how paper airplanes are so playful and kind of dreamy, making you think of an adventure.

Easy Lamp Drawing
Ok, this is a pretty random doodle to include, but I find that it’s fun to start by doodling easy things you have around the house.
Plus, this definitely works as a part of a stationery theme, or maybe if you create an aesthetic workplace theme, those are very popular these days.

How To Draw A Book
There are many different ways to draw a book, but here we’ll do the easiest one. It’s also the one I use the most, especially for pages like book trackers.
I also really like how you get a lot of space to decorate book spines, you can play with colors and patterns so much.

Pretzel Drawing
I miss pretzels so much. They don’t have them anywhere I live right now, so the best I can do is to doodle them.
Do you like pretzels? Or what’s your favorite pastry (can you actually call a pretzel a pastry?)?
Let me know in the comments, and I’ll include a tutorial for the next doodling post.

How To Draw A Microphone
Mics are a great doodle for a topical theme, like music, or maybe back in the 90s.
I feel like it really depends on the color and the shape of the microphone; you can make it fit almost any theme possible.

How To Doodle A Rose
Flowers might seem like very difficult things to doodle, but actually, they can be really easy.
Just follow this tutorial, and you’ll have three roses on your pages immediately.

And there you go; here are the 19 tutorials I promised you.
