15 Cute and Easy Stationery Bullet Journal Doodles
Want to learn how to draw easy and cute stationery doodles to add to your study notebooks or maybe Bullet Journal?
You’re in the right place! Here are some doodling tutorials for you to follow even if you’ve never doodled before.
Going back to school is always a hectic period, and there are usually lots of things happening. With that in mind, I thought I’ll add some fun with these easy and cute stationery doodles, which you can use for your September Bullet Journal setup or just in your study notes. Visual note-taking is a very strong method of learning, after all.
First of all, I recorded a “Doodle With Me” video with 14 different school-themed doodles, which you should TOTALLY watch, and you can find it at the end of the post.
In addition to those, you can also find here 15 simple stationery doodles. Each tutorial is broken down into simple steps and is very easy to follow. Moreover, all the images are Pinnable, so you can just save them on your favorite Pinterest board and easily get back to them at any time.

My Favorite Doodling Supplies
Let me start by saying that even though I do all my tutorials on my iPad with the Procreate app, I firmly believe there is still nothing better than doodling with pen and paper.
You don’t really need any special supplies for that, just a pencil and a piece of paper should be ok. In fact, I always recommend you start with a pencil sketch to avoid any mistakes.
If you want to add some more feel to your doodles, you might consider enlarging your stationery collection. Below are some of my favorite supplies.
Sakura Micron. They’re definitely a must-have to create those rich black lines and add more emphasis to your doodles. Any fineliner pens would work; these are just the ones I’m loving at the moment. A great thing about fineliners is that they come in sets of different sizes, which will help you create more elaborate doodles.
Zebra Mildliner Highlighters. These are absolutely my favorite way to add color to my doodles. I love their color palette and think they work so well with doodle art.
Crayola Super Tips are another way to add color to your doodles. They are affordable, and the sets come in an insane amount of different colors!

Notebook. You can doodle on any kind of paper, honestly, but I prefer to have a separate journal for my doodles. This helps me to check my progress, plus I basically create a notebook full of doodle ideas for the next time I need to decorate my Bullet Journal pages.

Crayons
I don’t think I ever used crayons in my life, maybe because I was always more of a colored pencil kind of girl. It’s kind of a mystery.
However, crayons are super fun to draw and are very cute, so this will be our first doodle.
Zebra Mildliner
My absolute favorite piece of stationery EVEEEEER!! Sometimes it feels like they’re the only thing I use for my bujo. Seriously, guys, I have no idea why they aren’t sponsoring me yet =(
These are also super popular in the school community, and for a reason – they are high quality, have a great color scheme, look amazing on flatlay pictures, and OMG, they’re so adorable! Aren’t they?
I like my doodle to be very rounded, but feel free to make the corners straighter – whatever fits your doodling style better.
Pencil
Good old pencil – a must-have for any school pencil case and a very cute and easy doodle to draw.

Washi Tape
There are so many amazing ways to use washi tape in your Bullet Journal! I’ve been so obsessed over them lately.

Planner
Does this look familiar to you? If you follow me on Instagram you probably recognize that this doodle is mostly based on my Bullet Journal cover.
To add a little extra something to your planner doodle, try using a grey marker and adding a shadow. This trick always adds a spark to a doodle and is very easy to add to such a simply shaped one as a planner.
Highlighter
Highlighters are an absolute must-have for school, so I had to add this doodle to this list.
We already had a Zebra Mildliner Highlighter above, but I really wanted to add a more classic one.
Pen
Finally, here is a simple doodle of a pen.
Here is a little trick for you that I used here – if you round all the corners and make elements a bit bigger than they should be, it will create a much cuter doodle.
Stapler
Even though I don’t use staplers that much, it still seems like a must-have gadget on your desk.
It can be super cute, and it’s very simple to doodle. Just check out the tutorial below.
Ink Bottle
I love this doodle; it’s so darn cute! Plus, you can absolutely use any crazy colors you feel like since ink comes in a huge variety of them.
How about some rainbow-colored ink?
Calculator
This is a super easy doodle, but it can be incredibly adorable.
Play around with rounding your corners and buttons even more for a cuter look.
Travel Journal
This time, one more planner doodle is more of a travel journal kind of planner.
You can make it more rounded or more square…y? (is that even a word?), depending on your style.
Calendar
I’ve always been a fan of paper calendars; even now I have one on my table at work.
So when we talk stationery and back to school, a paper rip-off calendar is definitely there is my list of must-haves.
Backpack
Last but not least is the backpack doodle.
This one is a bit more elaborate but still pretty easy to draw.
Paint And Brush
It seems like a more difficult doodle than it is. Thankfully you can simply follow this tutorial.
Remember the main idea – everything is made of basic shapes anyone can doodle. You just need to see them.
Memo Pad
I love those; they are so convenient and useful for many situations.
Thankfully these are also pretty easy to doodle.
