Supplies Needed For Vision Board
Considering we'll be creating a vision board inside your Bullet Journal, there won't be any recommendations on the type of canvas you can use.
But there are plenty of other supplies that can help you bring to life your vision of your life, and I'm here to share
Let's dive in!
First and foremost, you'll need a good pen. And even though you can definitely use any writing pen you have, it's much better to have a set of fineliners. It will allow you to play with the thickness of lines, and they have a rich archival ink that would look amazing.
These pens are also beautiful for doodling or drawing anything else you might want to add to your vision board.
Adding brush lettering to your vision board can definitely help you make it more visually pleasing, and if you use different colors, it can create important accents or divisions.
The best thing about these pens is that they are perfect for smaller elements, and they are amazing to use for beginners, so if you're just learning brush lettering, these can be super handy
This little book has 700+ images and words for you to cut out and add to your vision board. I know the original idea is to cut things out of magazines, but I think right now we don't really have that many physical magazines lying around, so getting a book like that will be super useful.
And because there are so many images here, you might end up using it for a few years or just adding and changing things up in your vision board as you go.
This is an absolute must-have when it comes to creating a vision board. Remember those cutouts we talked about? Well, you'll need to add them to your page somehow, and this adhesive is probably the easiest and no-fuzz way to do it.
Plus., this will be a useful tool for your general Bullet Journal pages as well.
I love adding color to things; I think it adds more fun to the page and makes information more organized and visual. So, I definitely recommend using some markers to spice up your vision board.
I will recommend these ones here since they have my favorite colors, they are high quality, and will serve you for a long time, plus, they have two tips for you to use in many other ways as well.
A vision board is usually full of dreams and motivation, so a set of stickers with some uplifting quotes can be a lovely addition to it. there are many to choose from, in different sizes and different designs, so no matter your style, they will definitely fit the vision board.
This printer has been probably my favorite purchase ever! I love adding photos to my memory-keeping pages and other random Bullet Journal spreads, and this printer is super helpful in that.
But more so, if you want to add some custom photos to your vision board, you can definitely do it with this printer. The paper is actually a sticker, so you'll be able to easily stick them directly to your vision board.
Your vision board supplies don't have to be all about adding spark to the page. You might need something that just keeps things learning and organized, like these stickers with banners and headers.
I like that it's all in black and white, leaving you an option to customize it with color if you want to.
Here is one more beautiful book with quotes, clip art, and photos to help you create a challenging vision for your future.
This one has a completely different aesthetic to it, just to show that no matter your style, you can always find prompts that fit you and your needs.
This is so simple that you probably already have some in your collection, but nonetheless, scissors are an important part of building your vision board.
I'd recommend having a set of different sizes, so you have smaller ones to cut out more delicate elements.
Last but not least on my list is washi tape. I think it's a fantastic way to decorate your vision board or maybe just use it to add some elements to it. I, for example, use washi tape to create a flop on my vision board so I have a hidden space where I can write a letter to myself.
I chose this particular set because it seems pretty neutral, and the geometric p[patterns can really fit a lot of styles. But of course, there are designs and sizes for any aesthetics.
