I always say that your Bullet Journal is your personal canvas, allowing you to express whatever you want. It doesn’t have to conform to a minimalist style or be filled solely with pages aimed at enhancing productivity or improving your life.
In fact, some of the most delightful Bullet Journal pages are those that spark joy and bring a smile to your face. By infusing fun into your journaling, you’re more likely to feel inspired and stick with it, even when motivation wanes.
Today, we’re diving into one of my favorite joyful page ideas—a movie and TV series tracker. Stationery Recommendations
What do you need to create a tracker like this? You can create any page with just one black pen. But it’s more fun if you have more stationery.
So here are a few of my recommendations:
- Fineliners. These are the blood of your Bullet Journal pages, and I recommend trying Sakura Pigma Micron. They also come in a set with different nib sizes so you get a wider variety of line thicknesses.
- Markers. If you’re obsessed with color like I am, chances are you’ll want to add color to your journal pages as well. Your choice of markers will depend on the colors you prefer, but my top recommendations are Crayola Super Tips, which can also be used for brush lettering, and Zebra Mildliners.
- Brush pens. Something to add brush lettering or maybe even color to your pages! I recommend Tombow Fudenosuke for a small brush tip and Tombow Dual Brush for a larger brush tip.
- Washi tape. I love washi tape and how it allows you to easily decorate your Bullet Journal pages in no time at all. Thankfully, there are washi tapes with all types of colors and patterns, so you can fund something that fits our aesthetics.
- Stamps. There are plenty of amazing stamps that will help you create trackers like these ones in no time. Here are just a few I found for you: Movie Night Stamps and TV Television Mini Stamp.
I can talk about stationery for hours, but let me cut myself off. Let’s talk about Bullet Journal movie and TV trackers.
Movies & TV Series Tracker Bullet Journal Ideas
In the world of entertainment, there are so many choices out there and so many different streaming services it's pretty hard to keep track of all the things you love.
But, of course, your Bullet Journal can help with that! Just try creating a tracker like one of the ones you'll see below.
So let's dive in and look at a few amazing trackers.
This is a fun idea if you have a few favorite shows to track. It allows you to track each episode, and I love the fact that each show has a little illustration on the top to demonstrate it.
This one allows you not only to track many shows but also to see how many episodes of what show you watched that day. This is a very useful thing, especially if you're working on cutting down a bit on your TV time but still want to enjoy the shows you love.
This is a fun spread to kind of plan your year or your month of movies. I find it very useful because I always think of the movies I want to watch, but I don't have a plan, so I never watch any.
I also really like that each movie has stars to rate it.
You can definitely combine a movie and TV tracker on one page. But this is more like a list of movies and TV shows; it doesn't give you enough space to track the seasons and episodes.
I love this one, especially the Funco pop of 11 on the left. It's really fun that the creator added now just shows but particular seasons. I think this is very useful!
If you want to easily recreate this one, I found these amazing tv stamps that would help you so much to create a cute page in a speedy way.
A fun way to track your movies, and I', loving all the extra details here. Like the star rating for the movies and the notes if you saw it in movies or at home.
This is a pretty basic design, but it's classic. It's probably the easiest way to track your shows and this page is fast to set up so you can add it to your BuJo right away.
Beautiful tracker, and it's so interesting how much fun was added to the page just with the red of the header. It's all the decoration this page really needed. This and, of course, that doodle of a film.
Beautiful movie tracker, but this one is particular for Marvel movies. Considering how many of them there are, it's a good idea to put them all in a tracker to make sure when you do your marathon you don't miss any.
I love this beautiful and colorful movie tracker. The idea is to color the tickets every time you actually watch the movie. I also really like the brush lettering on the header.
Such a fun idea to make the circle trackers like these. That way, it actually takes up less space, I think, and of course, it looks beautiful.
If you want to do the circle trackers like these, I definitely recommend you get this stencil. And it can help you with more than just circle elements.
Beautiful list to add your tv shows. I love that Nicole made it in two colors and how there are those soft shadows added to each TV.
Oh, this is definitely a useful one! You don't want to spend your movie nights trying to pick a movie.
This page looks pretty easy to create but is still so fun and stunning. I love that it has a contrast of colors with black and white pages and a little spark of red.
Lovely tracker, and I definitely love some of the shows here. It's also a really fun idea to use washi tape as a frame around the trackers.
Love this movie tracker, there is so much space for all the movies here, and the little black doodles really add to the atmopsphere.
