Stationery Recommendations
Before we look at the inspirations, let’s talk supplies. After all, you’ll need some to create these love-filled pages in your Bullet journal.
Of course, you can use anything you already have, but here are some of my recommendations for the extra items you’ll enjoy using.
- Fineliners. These are the blood of every Bullet Journal page, allowing you to draw, doodle, and divide your Bullet Journal page with style. I recommend Sakura Pigma Micron; they have dark black archival ink and very smooth writing.
- Markers. Of course, you’ll need something that adds color to your pages if colorful is the vibe you’re looking for. I’d recommend Crayola Super Tips – they have 100 different colors, so you definitely will be able to find the ones that fit your style, plus they are pretty affordable.
- Brush pens. Those are not must-haves, but brush lettering is a beautiful touch to add to your romantic pages. I’d recommend Tombow Fudenosuke for small brush tips and Tombow Dual Brush pens for larger brush tips and more color options.
- Washi tapes. These are always a great way to easily add creativity and style to your Bullet Journal pages, and I think that is especially true for Valentine’s Day pages. Check out Washi Tape Shop for some roles to purchase; they have all the possible styles and sizes, so you’ll definitely find one that fits your aesthetic.
- Stickers. These are one more fun way to add a spark of decoration to your Bullet Journal pages. There are plenty of styles and designs to fit anyone’s needs and aesthetics! Here are just a few finds: Valentine’s Day Coffee sticker sheet, Love Letters Sticker Sheet, Cute Cat Valentine’s Day Sticker Sheet, and Valentines Day Planner Stickers.
Ok, we’ve covered the basics, and you have all the supplies you need, so let’s get started on the inspirations!
Valentine's Day Bullet Journal Inspirations
There are as many different ways and styles to create a Valentine's Day theme in your Bullet Journal. So here I got ideas from different creators.
Each of them has a different aesthetics and a different approach, so surely you'll find something that inspires you and fits your style.
Let's dive in!
Love letters are such a sweet way to show your feelings. It's old school, but doesn't it make it that much more special? I love the idea of creating a love letters theme, and this is a beautiful take on it!
Yes, Valentine's Day is all about hearts, but it doesn't mean you can't play around and take a different approach. I love the idea of this crystal heart, or maybe it's a heart-shaped ruby? Either way, the creator played with colors beautifully, and I love how it almost sparks on the page.
Even though this page is not pink and full of heart doodles, I think it's still very on theme with Valentine's Day. It has that soft and loving feel to it, and I think these vintage letters are love letters. Wouldn't you agree?
Another traditional symbol of Valentine's Day is for sure chocolates, and this creator really brought it to the next level with this weekly layout. It looks beautiful, the colors are soft and gentle, and the illustration is so detailed!
Even though roses are not my favorite flowers, you can't argue that red roses are the flowers of the season of love. The beautiful quote on the left of the monthly log is there to confirm that this is, in fact, a Valentine's day themed layout.
I absolutely adore this cover page and the beautiful bright colors the creator used! It's really a fantastic way to pull out all the shades of red and pink in your collection!
I love his creator since they always manage to mix a bit of medicine into their layouts. I think it's perfect for Valentine's Day theme, even though it can have a negative connotation, haha. But it all depends on the eyes of the beholder.
This cover page has all the elements of the holiday, from hearts to all the possible shades of pink! But I also really love those little elements with kraft paper, I think it always makes pages look that much more delicate.
An easy way to create a Valentine's Day-themed layout is to just add a lot of hearts! If you follow this example and use different shades of pink plus contrast with rich black lines, you'll get a truly stunning layout!
I know cherry blossom is not 100% a Valentine's Day theme, but for me, there is something truly romantic about it, so I thought this is definitely a spread to put on this list.
I'm not very sure this is a love letters theme, but I think it matches. These are stamps, tags, and letters, and it's all in shades of pink. Either way, I wanted to mention it's such a fun way to add a theme to your weekly spread by playing with the traditional design for the daily boxes.
I adore this cover page! The lettering on the words love is beautiful, and the colors the creator chose match so well together! Plus, how cute are the little hearts? Originally, I thought it was just a little confetti, and only later did I realize these were also hearts.
This is such a cute monthly log spread! I love how the creator added Valentine's Day feeling in little details, like the hearts on the headers and the pink of the lettering.
If you don't want to go too hard and prefer to keep your Valentine's Day setup more subtle, here is a fantastic inspiration. The lettering is beautiful, and with the little heart candy doodles, you still know what it's all about, and yet it's very subtle.
This spread is a perfect mix of an organized and structured weekly spread that is still on the theme. With details ails like heart-shaped banners and some pink colors, this layout is obviously themed. At the same time, the creator kept their usual planning structure and didn't sacrifice any space they needed for planning a productive week.
This layout is super cute, but it also has so many amazing elements signifying the season of love! From the pink color to the heart, love letters, and cherry blossoms, this cover page is all about Valentine's Day!
This might be just a page for the holiday, not a monthly cover page. But it demonstrates a charming approach to the theme. By using interesting fonts and adding some heart-themed faux calligraphy, the creator managed to perfectly capture the holiday in their Bullet Journal.
