Bullet Journal Vision Board Supplies
There are so many different supplies you can use to create a vision board in your journal! It can definitely be overwhelming, but don’t worry; I picked a few staple things I think you’ll find most useful.
But also here are a few of my favorite things:
- Sakura Pigma Micron – of course, a good set of fineliners is amazing for creating all the pages.
- Stickers. They are amazing to help you add visual elements to your page. Try out special printable Vision Board Stickers from my shop, or maybe these physical Bloom & Grow Vision Board Stickers.
- Markers. I don’t know about you, but I love adding as much color as I can to my pages, including a vision board. For that, you’ll need some markers, and I recommend getting Crayola Super Tips since they are super affordable, come in 100 colors, and can actually be used for brush lettering.
- Tombow Fudenosuke – a perfect brush pen for smaller types of lettering, and it is great to add brush lettering to make important words stand out.
- HP SProcket – this printer will allow you to print all the images. The paper is already a sticker, so you can add it to your vision board right away.
Of course, any magazine cutouts you might have are always helpful for a vision board, and you could use a Tombow Adhesive to seamlessly add them to your vision board.
Ok, now that you are excited and have all the supplies with you, let’s look at some inspirations for different ways to set up a vision board.
Vision Board Bullet Journal Page Ideas
The concept of the vision board is one and the same, but it doesn't mean you can't create a unique vision board. There are so many ways you can customize it and make it fit your style and aesthetics.
In this post, I've gathered vision boards from different creators so you can see different styles and approaches and get inspiration on how you'd like to create it in your Bullet Journal
Let's dive in!
Vision boards are great for setting your yearly intentions and expectations. Let's start with this beautiful example, where the creator mixes photos and images with black-line illustrations. It looks very stylish, and I think the illustrations provide an interesting contrast to the pictures.
Here is one of the vision boards I've created. It's a small one, and most of it is occupied by an envelope where I put the letter from my future self. However, I still wanted to add all the main things I was expecting for the year. As you can see, I used stickers, especially word stickers, to create a clearer idea of how I want my year to look.
If you have more of a minimalist style, this vision board might be the right inspiration for you. A few images, quotes, and words build a clear picture of the creator's view of the future and the aesthetics they want their life to have.
A fun and easy way to create a vision board is by using keywords for your upcoming year. You can play around with colors and different fonts to create variety and a sort of hierarchy of the words to make it a bit more visual.
I absolutely love how stylish this vision board looks, even though all the images have similar filters and aesthetic looks. I also must add special love to the beautiful kraft paper header in the middle. I think it really helps to bring the page together.
This is my first ever vision board, and actually, so many things from this one became true! I especially love here the ideas with an alphabet of adjectives I wanted to represent that year, and hidden behind it is actually a letter from my future self. Things from the letter did not happen, but they turned out to be even better actually!
This is absolutely a cozy and comfy vision board. I love how each image has a word that helps summarise the meaning behind it and how the creator also added a word of the year, which seems to be hygge. It's a perfect word for the aesthetic they tried to create in this vision board, for sure!
This vision board is pretty minimalistic, but it still has the color, and the images cover all the main areas the creator wants to work on. I love that they also added a quote in the middle, which is so motivational when it comes to building the life of your dreams!
I love this vision board and that the creator used a larger notebook (this seems to be a B5 journal) to add more of their view of the upcoming years. I also really love the use of washi tape in this layout, it really gave me inspiration on how to add some more washi tape in my future vision boards.
I love this page and how the creator used stickers from the same set, so they all match in color and style. It's a very interesting use of stickers, and I absolutely love it for this vision board, it helps create a more cohesive look for all the elements brought together.
Ok, I think this page is not really black and white, but it looks really cool in this filter, and I love that the creator used words in different fonts.
For images, the creator used a thermal printer, and even though I couldn't find the exact model, you can try this one. I've had it before, and it's pretty fun to use!
