A good writing pen is a staple for notes, and it will depend on your needs and handwriting style. I gathered here a few options, each best for a different style of handwriting, so I'm sure you can find your perfect pen on this list.
These pens are some of the most popular among the studygram community and for a good reason. They are extremely smooth and have dark black ink. They also provide very thin lines, so if you have small detailed handwriting, these would be perfect.,
Pilot has been a staple of school notes since I was in school, and their quality has only gone up since then. Pilot G2 are wonderful pens with smooth black gel ink and a comfortable grip. They provide thicker lines, so if that is your aesthetic, I recommend giving them a try.
These are some of the best pens on the market, and they are famous for drying super fast on any paper. If you're left-handed, and smudging is an issue, these would definitely solve the problem.

Adding color to your notes can help make them more engaging, and one of the best ways to do it is with colorful pens. Here are just a few options I'm sure you'll love.

Tombow Dual Brush pens are amazing and so multi-functional! They have a brush end and a marker end, so you can use them for thinner lines, brush lettering, or just highlighting important information.
