Fun & Colorful BuJo Title Ideas
Bullet Journal title ideas can transform your BuJo into a vibrant, personalized masterpiece. Titles set the tone for your pages, making them not only functional but also visually appealing.
Whether you’re organizing your monthly spreads, tracking habits, or planning your week, creative titles add a splash of personality and fun to your layouts.
And the important thing here is – you don’t need to be a creative genius or an experienced artist to create titles, and this post will prove it.
In this post, Iโve gathered a variety of fun and colorful BuJo title ideas to inspire your next spread. Letโs dive into the world of creativity and make your journal truly unique!

I find that being creative in your journal and making pages that stand out really helps you stay consistent. Plus, in general, I really enjoy the creative elements of Bullet Journaling.
And before you start saying that you’re not creative, and you could never make anything like that – creativity is not a talent, it’s a muscle! I couldn’t do anything creative either until I started a Bullet Journal and started training myself to create more fun things.
When it comes to titles, they are some of the easiest little tools to make your pages look a bit more fun and unique, and there is no shortage of ideas on how you can customize your titles.
Titles are also a great way to create a consistent theme throughout your monthly setup. Just use the sale title style on all the pages, and it will automatically look unified and thematic.
In this blog post, I will be sharing with you all the different title ideas I created during my years of Bullet Journaling. Let’s dive in!
Oh, and be sure you grab your freebies at the end of the post; they will help you add fun and creativity to your Bullet Journal.

BuJo Title Ideas
Titles are a great way to elevate your layouts, and here I gathered for you many different ideas. You can copy them directly, or you can pick your favorite elements from different designs and create your own unique style.
Whatever you choose, I’m sure you’ll find something here to spark your imagination. And if not, there are many more inspirations at the end of this post!
Gel Ink Title Ideas
We are starting with title ideas that I created using gel pens. No need for any extra markers or stencils.
I think these ideas work very well for when you are trying to plan on the go and not use too many pens and markers. And it would probably work great for things like your school notes, because these headers can all be done with just one pen and are very easy to create.

In case you are wondering, for these titles I used Pilot Juice Gel Ink pens, which are smooth to write with and come in many colors if you want to experiment with that.
Colorful Title Ideas
I am all about colors. I think they add more fun to the layout, and I’ve discovered that when you use them, little mistakes and uneven elements are less visible.
So I love using a lot of color in my titles. Here is an example of a set of headers I created that are screaming with color!
Most of them have a pretty simple design and are easy to recreate. Just be sure you don’t copy my mistakes, like that one design where I wrote ” heder ” instead of “header”.

For these title ideas, I used my collection of Faber-Castell pens: Watercolor Brush Markers, Pitt Artist Brush Pens, and Metallic Markers.
March Title Ideas
These are a few titles I created as ideas for March, and as you will see, they are heavily inspired by brush lettering.
Here are the two secrets when creating these titles. First – if you don’t know how to brush letters, simply use faux calligraphy instead. Second, write the letters in pencil first, then outline them with a brush pen on top. That way, you will know exactly what to write and will only need to concentrate on your brush pen pressure.

Bright Bullet Journal Title Designs
Here is one more set of titles I created that has so many different colors.
Here, I also want to note that I enjoyed playing with the contrast between white paper, bright colors, and dark black letters. I think this effect really makes a title stand out, which is exactly what we want.

If you’re wondering what kind of pens and such I used, I’m linking everything here. And remember that if you use different pens, you’ll get your own completely different effect, which will also be so much fun!
Christmas Title Ideas
One of the fun things you can do with your titles is to theme them according ot the season or the holiday we’re in. Here is an example of Christmas-themed titles I created.
As you can see, I used a lot of Christmas doodles to decorate these, while keeping the fonts pretty basic. These are perfect for small things like headers on your weekly spreads.

Simple Title Ideas
Last but not least are these two pages of title ideas. I think these were some of the first pages with header ideas I’ve ever created, so trust me when I say even if you’ve never done anything creative, you’ll be able to draw these titles.

They are very easy to recreate, and I used very limited supplies – just my Sakura Fineliners and Zebra Mildliners.
And as you can see, all the fonts are very simple, and there is not a sign of brush lettering anywhere!

This set of headers really shows you how much flexibility you have when you use block letters – there is so much space inside the letter for you to decorate and customize however you want!
And while I drew all of these letters by hand, if you do want a very neat-looking block font, I could recommend this stencil. I have it myself, and it really allows you to create consistent and neat block letters.
And these are all ideas I have to share in this post, but keep on scrolling – there are so many more inspirations!
