Stationery Recommendations
If you have just one trusty writing pen, you can already create many fun and outstanding headers and titles for your notes.
But since you’re here, chances are you’re looking to expand your stationery collection. So here are a few of my favorites.
- Sakura Pigma Micron – these pens are some of the best fineliners on the market. Their black archival ink will make all your headers look sharp.
- Tombow Fude Brush Pens – these small brush pens will allow you to create the most intricate headers, especially for smaller elements. Plus, of course, you can use them for brush lettering.
- Crayola Super Tips – when it comes to recommending markers, these are some of the best you can get. They come in so many colors! And they are pretty affordable.
- Bullet Journal Stencils – these will not just help you with setting up your Bullet Journal pages but also will allow you to easily create decorations and banners you can use to enhance your headers.
Ok, we have all the supplies at the ready, let’s dive in and find some titles and headers to decorate your Bullet Journal pages.
Fun Bullet Journal Titles And Headers
Here I gathered inspirations from different creators, so you'll see plenty of different styles and approaches.
Check them out as a main idea, and always remember that you can try different markers and different colors and get a completely unique look to the same idea.
Let's dive in!
Let's start with a set of title ideas I created with just a few ballpoint pens, which I think most of us have. You don't need any crazy expensive markers or brush pens to get creative with the headers in your Bullet Journal.
If you ike color, you'll love playing about with these title ideas, that barely use any black ink! I love the color combination the creator used here; it has this extra happy and summer look, I think.
Daily titles are probably something you use the most, since you need those for your weekly or daily log pages. Here are a few ideas on how to make those titles a bit more fun and exciting.
These ideas are fantastic, and they show you how much you can actually do with just one pen. It's all about your imagination and not about the supplies that you have.
If you're looking for something super simple, this is it. These titles look fun and interesting, but at the same time, are very easy to recreate even if you've never done anything like that.
These titles are incredibly creative, and the effect that the artist made really makes every title pop right off the page! It must've taken quite some time to draw these, but it was definitely worth it - they look incredible!
These are such cute and adorable little ideas! I love how each title actually occupies so little space that you can use these ideas for smaller elements like your daily headers.
Here is another set of header ideas and I love here how the creator actually drew the washi tape. You could use the actual washi tape to enhance your titles, but there is always a way around it if you don't have any.
Date titles is something we use in our Bullet Journals a lot, so it's helpful to have ideas just for those. Here are so many incredible ideas, each looking so different and outstanding!
Of course, for me, it's all about the color, so here are a few more title ideas, all of which are bright and colorful. I often find that just adding a bit of color can elevate your header, even if it has the most basic design.
If you have brush pens, it really opens a completely new world of brush lettering and title ideas. Here are just a few different techniques you can try to create unique and beautiful headers.
These titles are beautiful and I love how the creator played with the contrast between the colors and the black lines. I also imagine that if you use a different color combination, you can get a completely different vibe from these ideas.
Here are more ideas, and this artist created unique matches with different colors, fonts, and banners for interesting and fun titles to make your Bullet Journal layouts stand out.
A great thing about creating titles in your Bullet Journal is that you can actually get inspiration from whatever theme you are currently using in your monthly setup. These purple titles ideas, for example, in my head are definitely inspired by an "under the sea" theme.
Last but not least are these header ideas, which are pretty straightforward. You don't need any brush lettering skills to create these, only a few colors and some doodling.
