Bullet Journal Heading And Title Ideas
There are so many different options and variations for headers in your Bullet Journal; this post can be neverending! But don't worry, in this post, I managed to concise it to just 15 different creators, each with their own style and aesthetics.
If you want more, you can find links at the end of this post to get some more header and title ideas.
But for now, let's dive in!
I really love this set of headers; the colors are pretty, and they all are very interesting and different. As you can see, they also mostly don't use any brush calligraphy, so you can definitely copy any of these ideas even if you don't have lettering skills yet.
If, however, you are a master calligrapher, you might like these ideas that look incredible and seem to just pop out of the page. Here the creator went with shades of green, but you can definitely pick any other color and see how these will look completely different.
An easy way to elevate your headers is by using different banners around them. As you can see here, the creator used very basic fonts everyone can do, but they played around with different colors and added frames and banners to their letters to make these headers look very special.
I always find that color is something that can elevate your headers, even if you are using a pretty basic idea as the base font. These are great proof of that! The letters themselves are pretty easy to write, but because of the colors and fun little elements the creator added to each title, they look so fun and cheerful.
As much as I love color, if you go monochrome or with just one slight color accent, you can still create something beautiful and unique. Here are examples of different simple fonts and decoration ideas you can combine together for a unique type of title.
Another fun thing you can do with your headers is to customize them according to whatever theme you're doing this month. Here are just a few examples of how you can do it in your journal with headers for the bee theme or ice cream theme.
Here is my entrance to this lineup, and as you know, I love colors. So when I sat down to create a page with header ideas, I knew I had to go as bright as I could.
Here is a beautiful set of headers to try in April. Or for any month of the year really. For me, these particular colors scream cozy Fall, but as always, you can just use these ideas and try out other colors to get a totally different effect.
I love these titles and how the creator made them so cute and small. If you are looking for something that is clean and minimal but still creative, these ideas are definitely worth trying out!
On this particular page, I love that the creator added the color but still kept it subtle enough so it's not the vocal point but rather a little accent.
Yellow is such a happy color, and in this set of headers, I really love how it contrasts with the dark black ink of the fineliner.
And if you worry that they are too big for a header on a weekly spread - just make them smaller; they will look even cuter, even if they lose some of the details.
We saw a lot of headers here created with fineliners or expensive markers. But I also wanted to share some ideas that you can create with a simple ballpoint pen.
And if you're interested, I used my set of Pilot Juice pens for these ideas. I know the neon pastel colors are not very well seen in the photo, but they are much better visible in person.
All these titles look absolutely amazing, and I'm head over heels with this color combination. But also, I love the idea of decorating around the header with little doodles./ You can use this idea and do doodles of any monthly theme you're creating.
Just this one page has 25 different ideas that are all very creative and fun. Yes, a lot of them are made with brush lettering, but if you can't do that yet, you can always try faux calligraphy to have the same effect.
I can guarantee that Mondays will be much more fun and exciting if you start your planning with these headers. All the ideas don't require you to be a well-developed artist but still provide an interesting look.
Last but not least is this page with incredibly adorable and beautiful June header ideas. I think if you look at the colors and details the creator used for each, you can clearly tell that these were meant to be for a Summer theme.
