Cheap Journal Supplies You'll Love
In this list, I included all different kinds of supplies; most I tried myself, and some just came with high ratings and recommendations from others.
I'm sure you'll find something there for yourself, and if not, you can check the end of the post for some more recommendations of affordable and worthy supplies.
Let's dive in!
There are many journals available, and you don't necessarily need to spend a lot of money to get something solid. This journal has respectable 120 GSM paper and comes in many colors.
Even though I usually recommend 160 GSm paper, 120 GSM thickness is good enough, especially if you're on a tight budget. Just be sure you're doing a pen test before using any pens on your pages to make sure the paper can handle it. 120 GSM usually handles most things well, except for many alcohol markers and strong watercolor-based pens like Karin Brush markers.
These are amazing markers, and for 100 different colors, they come at a wonderful price. And if you're on a smaller budget, you can always choose a smaller set.
I got a 100 set and it really gave me so many opportunities with al the beautiful colors and shades.
The colors are beautiful. I love the variety, but the best part is definitely the fact that you can actually use them for brush lettering as well!
Stencils are a wonderful way to help you set up your pages. They can help you decorate pages, add beautiful fonts, or even speed up the process of dividing your page into sections.
This set of stencils has it all, and the best part is their affordability.
A good set of pens is your working horse, and this one also comes in many beautiful colors.
Staedtler is a great company and they provide high quality pens that will serve you a long time, I love using them on my pages.
Metallic colors make your pages stand out, especially if you're using black paper. And having the beautiful metallic effect on your [pens doesn't mean they have to be expensive; these are pretty affordable.
If watercolor is something you like using in your journal, here is a pretty affordable set for you to try out. These are just the basic colors, but with a bit of color theory, you can create any colors you want.
Stickers are a great way to set up your pages and decorate your spreads. The best part of it is that there are so many different designs and price options, so you can find a set of stickers for you, and this one is a great to start with!
A good writing pen is a working horse for your Bulelt journal; these pens are affordable and of great quality. Zebra is one of my favorite brands, and these pens are smooth and have a very comfortable grip.
Highlighters are very useful when it comes to Bulklet Journaling. They can help you create beautiful headers, add color to your doodles, or just highlight the important bits of information. This set has 30 pens that will last you for a long time.
Washi tapes are perfect for adding a bit of a character to your Bulelt Journal pages, but there is also so many more things you can actually use washi tape for in your journal.
Just like with stickers, there are many designs available at different prices. I chose this one because it is cute and neutral and can fit many different aesthetics.
Last but not least, a pencil case, because after all, you'll need a good way to store all your precious pens. There are many available, but I chose this one since it's cute and can fit so many pens and other stationery items.
They also come in many different colors, so you'll be able to find one that you'll love.
