Entertainment Bullet Journal Ideas
Bullet Journal ideas can transform how you enjoy free time. From tracking progress for the books you’ve read to sparking creativity with your favorite movie list, a journal is the perfect way to blend organization with passion.
Dedicating pages to your favorite activities can make them even more rewarding, and it is always fun to see how you progress with your favorite activities.
In this post, Iโll share unique page layouts Iโve created to help me enjoy entertainment. These ideas are designed to inspire you to craft a journal that not only keeps you organized but also fuels your enthusiasm for the things you love most.
Letโs dive in!

Of course, entertainment differs from person to person. We all love different things, be it books, movies, TV shows, or comic books.
For me, it’s anime, and these are the pages I created to track all the anime-related things.
But before you run away thinking that this is not going to work for you – wait! Even though these particular pages are about anime, the idea and execution would work for plenty of other things, like books and reading.
Let’s dive into my media Bullet Journal, and as I share each layout, I’ll highlight how these ideas can be adapted to any other type of entertainment you enjoy.
Oh, and at the end of this post, there are some FREE printables with pages you can print and try out right away to see if it’ssomething you’ll enjoy using.

Stationery Recommendations
First of all, let me quickly share the supplies that I used for creating these pages, in case you want to add some amazing stationery to your collection.
- Archer and Olive Journal – yes, I have a whole separate journal just for my content consumption. And if you want to try these journals, you can get 10% OFF with my code MASHA10.
- Altnew Finliners and Calligraphy pens – these are some new pens I recently received, and I love using them – beautiful black ink and easy to control.
- Zebra Mildliners – at this point, it is almost a guarantee that if I create a page, I use my all-time favorite markers.
- Rating Stamp – This was an absolute lifesaver when it came to creating many of these pages. I’d definitely recommend getting this one.
- HP Sprocket – I loved adding posters and pictures, so this little printer was my must-have. It doesn’t require any ink, and it already comes with paper that is sticky on the back, so it’s perfect for adding to your Bullet Journal pages.
These are mostly all the things that I used, and these are some wonderful supplies that I love using, and for more than just in these pages.
Now that we have all the supplies ready, let’s look at the layouts I’ve been creating.
Entertainment Bullet Journal Ideas
As I mentioned earlier, this is a look into my own content journal, or at least what I call it.
This is a new concept I’m trying, it started from me just writing little reviews of articles and videos that I watch, and slowly it grew into something bigger.
Showing you just my little essays and thoughts, it’s pretty boring, because it’s literally like a journal entry. But I can show you other pages I created, which have a bit more structure and design, and can be a good example for a spread to try in your own journal.
Let’s dive in and look at these pages
Favorite Voice Actors
First, here is a page that has all my current favorite Japanese voice actors. Every time I watch a new anime, I check the cast to check if any of the characters are voiced by my favorite actors.
Sometimes I check as I go, since some of these voices are so distinct I recognise them. And I must say this is the best moment for me.

Just to clarify, here are their roles in anime that I have seen; it’s not their full filmography.
Now, to the next stage – how you can use the same idea for your entertainment journal.
If you’re reading books, you can create this layout for your favorite authors or your favorite genres.
If you’re a movie or TV person, this can be a layout with your favorite directors or your favorite actors.
Yearly Anime List
This started as a page with whatever anime I’ve been watching this year, and I am quickly realizing that I won’t have enough space for all the things I will be watching during the year, since there is already too much space occupied.
The issue here is that I like adding the little posters for each anime, because they are so pretty, and I love how this has such a visual effect.

I wanted to include so much more information here, like my rating for the show or how many episodes the show had. But there isn’t enough space with all the things I watch.
This is actually very easy to transfer to any other type of media – make it a list of shows you watch or books you’ve read during the year. If you make the book covers or show posters smaller, you’ll be able to fit many more of them on the page!
Review Page
I wanted to make sure I have a page with a little bit more detailed review for each name I’m watching.
Im ight switch the format for something more detailed, but for now I only write why I gave the rating I did, who were my favorite characters, and what I generally thought about the show.

To be clear, this is like a mini summary. I actually journal with thoughts about things I watch as I watch them, but again, this is just a page with text and nothing really that interesting.
Anime Studios
I realised each studio has its own style, and I often can see connections between anime created by the same studio, so I thought it would be a fun idea to create a layout with the list of studios.
Again, this is not a list of all things that the studio created; this is a list of anime from each studio that I have seen.

And again, this idea is very easy to transfer to any other type of entertainment. You can make a list of movies produced by your favorite studio, or maybe books released by the publishing house you enjoy.
Watch List
This is pretty straightforward – a clear list of anime that I want to watch. I added details like rating and the date when I finally watched the series on the list.
As a little extra, I also added how many seasons each show has, so I get a good idea of how long a commitment it is to start this show.

Of course, this works the same way as any TV or movie tracker, and the same format works for books as well.
This is a great layout to ensure that next time you’re looking for something to watch (or read), you already have a list to choose from and don’t need to spend hours trying to make a decision.
Rating System
One of the biggest issues with rating for me is knowing how to properly rank my entertainment, events, and what kind of rating system to use. My ratings are always so random!
This is why I created this layout, which actually helps me get a good idea of where the show stands.

To be completely honest, I don’t always follow this system, sometimes I rate things high just because I had such an amazing time watching it. But that’s why I usually add a note about why I chose the rating on my review page.
Of course, the same works if you want to rate whatever entertainment you are consuming.
Drop List
Last but not least is my layout with this page, which shows that I dropped, which, for now, is just one show.
We all have a pretty limited amount of time to spend with the content we enjoy. And I think it’s not normal to catch yourself and not finish any shows or books that you don’t actually deeply enjoy.

Coming all the way from my school years, it’s hard for me to drop any books or shows that I’m watching, it almost feels like losing. But truthfully, there is too little time in life to spend on things that you don’t enjoy.
You don’t need ot create a whole layout about it. I wanted to make it because I wanted to see if there is a pattern to why some shows I stop watching and some I don’t. For me, it is an interesting statistic and something to think about in the future.
And that’s about it. Here are my pages. As time goes by, I might include more layouts, and if you want to see those, let me know in the comments! But so far, this is the beginning, and these are all the layouts I think will be useful for me right now.
