Stationery Recommendations
Let’s start with the big disclaimer: you can create many different beautiful headers and titles with just one black pen. It’s a powerful tool, and you don’t have to buy ALL the pens to add creativity to your pages.
But I also believe that it’s so much more fun and satisfying to create when you have quality supplies that you love using.
So, let me share a few of my favorites!
- Sakura Pigma Micron – a great set of fineliners that will allow you to draw the letters and build an amazing contrast with your color. The pack also comes with different nib sizes, so you can have more variety in your creations.
- Tombow Fude Brush Pen – it’s a brush pen, but it’s also great for drawing, in case you’re not that comfortable with brush lettering yet.
- Pastel Tombow Dual Brush pens – this was my first set of Tombow Dual brush pens, and it’s still my favorite one. The pastel colors are beautiful, and with two tips, you get so much variety of what you can create.
- Pastel Stabilo Highlighters – an easy choice if you’re looking for pastel highlighters. The colors are stunning!
- Tombow Twin Tone – if you’re looking for something more of a marker type, you can’t go wrong with these markers. They also have a dual tip, one a marler and one a fineliners, allowing you to have a large variety of ways you can use them for your headers.
Now that you’ve got all the supplies ready, let’s dive into cute title ideas, which I’m sure you’ll love.
Cute Title Ideas For Notes And Bullet Journal
The definition of cuteness is pretty subjective, but I hope either way, you will agree with me that the ideas in this post are adorable, each in their own way.
Here, I gathered several ideas from multiple different creators, so you can actually see different approaches and styles when it comes to c creating a perfect title for you.
Look at all of these, and take note of details and elements that you like. You'll be able to easily create headers and titles that are unique to your style.
I think making things small automatically makes them cute, so let's start the list with these cute little March title ideas. They are also magic themes, so I keep on thinking about cute little anime-style witches brewing their positions.
I think color is a beautiful way to have a certain feel and style to your headers. These ideas are an perfect example of finding a balance between bright and pastel. These are still very vivid colors, but they don't lose the cuteness of pastek-like shades.
Another cute idea to create unique titles in your notes is to make them part of a doodle. This page has plenty of wonderful examples that are perfect for all kinds of themes. And as you can see, the creator reached this look with just a black pen and a bit of grey shadow.
This set of cute titles is full of beautiful colors and wonky fonts. You can mix and match fonts and background color designs to create something uniquely yours. And if you simply try a different color combination, they will already have a completely different look.
These titles are absolutely incredible; how the creator manages to keep it on these with studying and all the amazing details added to each letter.
They definitely require quite a lot of extra time and effort, but I think it pays off! It might not be something you use all the time, but it's perfect for a big stand-out kind of header.
A lot of title ideas here are created with markers and brush pens, so I wanted to show you some cute ideas you can create with some ballpoint pens that I'm sure you have a few of in your collection, especially if you're a student.
The Cuteness of these titles is a beautiful mix of adorable chubby fonts and beautiful pastel colors. Even with the strong contrast of dark black letters against a soft pastel background, the font itself is cute enough to keep the adorable vibe.
I think this is such a beautiful color combination, and it's so soft and gentle. Isn't it perfect to create quite headers together with those brush lettering style fonts?
I already mentioned that a simple way to turn something cute is to make it smaller. And these heading ideas are a perfect example of that - the letters are smaller and automatically look very innocent and cute.
These titles are full of color and look beautiful. You might be a bit worried because a lot of them look like brush lettering. But worry not - if you haven't mastered that skill, you can simply use faux calligraphy. Or draw the letters in pencil first and then just color it in.
Last but not least, are these title ideas for September, which, of course, you can use for any month of the year. I think they look super cute, and the little kitties are the bottom. I would agree!
This set of titles actually uses my favorite technique of using a quiet pen on top of black. It's a great way to make it stand out, and it's also a wonderful way to fix any mistakes you could've made. For the white, I'll definitely recommend using the Sakura Gelly Roll gel pen; it's simply the best!
