Stationery Recommendations
If you just have your one trusty writing pen, you can already create a lot of fun and outstanding Bullet Journal titles for your spreads.
But, of course, there is even more you can do if you have some extra stationery. So here are a few of my favorites.
- Sakura Pigma Micron – these pens are some of the best fineliners on the market. Their black archival ink will make all your headers look sharp.
- Tombow Fude Brush Pens – these small brush pens will allow you to create the most intricate headers, especially for smaller elements. Plus, of course, you can use them for brush lettering.
- Crayola Super Tips – when it comes to recommending markers, these are some of the best you can get. They come in so many colors! And they are pretty affordable.
- Bullet Journal Stencils – these will not just help you with setting up your Bullet Journal pages but also will allow you to easily create decorations and banners you can use to enhance your headers.
Now that you’ve got all the supplies at the ready, let’s dive into headers.
Aesthetic Bullet Journal Titles
The aesthetic is an extensive word, and everything has its own understanding of it. But I hope you find these titles as aesthetic and inspiring as I did.
And if you're on the lookout for more different ideas, be sure to check a few links at the end of the post.
Let's dive in!
There is something very special about these title ideas; maybe it's a color combination of the fact that some letters almost look 3D.
I also find that if you make letters smaller, they automatically look more stylish!
You don't really need that many pens and supplies to create something beautiful. These titles are an example of that, all the creator used are three green colors and a black fineliner.
Do you only have one black pen and one colorful marker? Nicole has you covered with these fantastic ideas, all perfect for adding a bit of spark to your weekly pages and such.
This set of title ideas is absolutely mesmerizing. I love that the creator chose three colors and showed how much could be done with just that. And the colors are pretty p[astel so you can play around so much with the contrast against the black ink of the letters.
These are October headers, but honestly, they can work for any month. Look at the concept, change the l; letters and the color scheme, and they can work for any month of the year and any event.
This beautiful and aesthetic look of the headers was achieved with just two Stabilo boss highlighters. Proves to you once again it's not as much about supplies as it is about how you use them.
Do you want to know another way to make your titles stand out on the page? Try using little banners and other decorative elements with them.
These titles are mostly created with one black pen and a few small color accents, and yet they all look outstanding and creative.
If your aesthetics is more about pastel colors and dreamy vibes, maybe you'll love these title ideas. Notice how very few of them are based on brush lettering - most are just about drawing your letters.
These headers are beautiful, but for sure, the color scheme adds a lot to the aesthetic feel of each one of them.
A lot of these are based on brush lettering, and if you feel like it's not yet the skill you freely possess - simply try using faux calligraphy instead.
These headers definitely take a bit of extra work, but isn't it absolutely worth it? They look stunning, and if you play around with color, they can fit any theme in your journal.
These beautiful ideas are a great example of how you can play with the contrast of colors. Yellow and orange contrast with much darker brown and make every idea stand out.
Pick two similar colors but with different darkness levels and see if these ideas fit every season.
I think "the less is more" is a beautiful concept that looks stunning on your Bullet Journal pages. Myself, I couldn't master it. A lot of empty space freaks me out, and I have an itch to fill it with doodles or colors.
But if you're a normal person and do like that style, I'm sure you'll appreciate the esthetic and stylish look of these headers.
Last but not least are these beautiful title ideas, and I must admit they stole my heart first and foremost with the beautiful bright colors.
But I must also admit I quite love the white-on-black effect. It's a great way to fix any mistakes in your headers, and apart from that, it looks really good. The only thing you need for it is a good white gel pen like Sakura Gelly Roll, and you're good to go.
An interesting fact is that a good white gel pen is also a great trick to fix any small mistakes.
