But moderation is key. I remember diving headfirst into Bullet Journaling, overwhelmed by excitement. I couldn’t resist the allure of creating an array of pages right away—habit trackers, mood boards, meal planners, gratitude lists—you name it, I tried it.
The thrill of giving life to so many ideas was incredible, but soon, I found myself bogged down. Maintaining all those pages became a task, rather than the enjoyable and productive experience it was supposed to be. My initial enthusiasm was transforming into a burdensome obligation.
Here’s a tip from my own journey: begin with a focused approach. Pick a few page ideas that genuinely excite and benefit you. It might be a sleep log to help with better rest, or a book list for your literary adventures. Focus on elements that truly enrich your daily routine.

I can talk about Bullet Journal supplies for hours; there are so many out there for all the different styles and any kind of budget.
So I won’t get into detail here, but here are a few of my recommendations:

But note that just because these are the basic pages doesn’t;’t mean you have to use them. They are great to get started, but if any of them don’t work for you – feel free to drop them.
