Stationery Recommendations
I always find that having great stationery you’re excited about makes the process more fun and pages even more creative.
So here are a few of my best recommendations for stationery for creating weekly spreads:
- Fineliners. These are the basics for every Bullet Journal page, perfect for drawing and doodling. I recommend Sakura Pigma Micron, which also comes in a set with different nib sizes, allowing you a variety of line thicknesses.
- Markers. If you want to add color to your pages, you’ll need some markers. Your choice will depend on what colors you like. My top choices are Zebra Mildliners and Tombow Twin Tone.
- Brush pens. To add beautiful brush lettering to your weekly spreads, you need a good set of brush pens. I recommend Tombow Fudensuke since they are smaller tips and pretty easy to master. If you’re looking for a larger brush pen and something with tons of colors, you can’t go wrong with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
- Stencils. These little helpers are great to allow you to set up your weekly spreads faster. I recommend these weekly spread stencils that are built specifically for your weekly pages.
Now that you have all your supplies and are ready to start creating let’s dive in and look at some weekly Bullet Journal spreads.

I love everything about this weekly layout. It's pretty simple, but it looks very stylish and interesting. Plus, it gives you a lot of space for all the daily planning you need.
I don't know what the theme is here, but it looks super cute. I love that the creator added the pattern for all the empty spaces in the weekly.
I think this color combination looks very aesthetic, and it's a great example of creating something stylish with a minimalist approach.
I don't know the theme for this weekly layout, but I love this setup and the beautiful headers the creator used. The idea of having little bottles of ocean is pretty fun as well!
This layout has a Dutch door, meaning that the weekly spread has some extra space behind the fold. And I like how the creator chose to add color to the entire page, except for the daily boxes, it created such a unique look.
I love how neat and clean this layout looks, with the perfect lettering and straight lines. It is also very well organised, giving you space for planning every day and a large part for the big to-do list.
Your weekly spread doesn't have to be elaborate; you can definitely create something simple like this layout. I love how simple and spacious it is, while the creator still added some decoration at the top to keep it on theme with the monthly setup.
I love pattern designs like these ones, they look stylish but even more than that, they are so calming. Creating these designs is almost like a meditation!
This is probably my favorite weekly format, where you simply divide each page by four and you have enough space for 7 days of the week and one more element you want. I also like how the creator added a lot of organisation to the inside of the daily boxes.
This layout is beautiful in everything, from the lettering to the stylish doodles and the beautiful pieces of kraft paper. The color combination the creator chose also looks stunning!
Here is another floral weekly log, but this time it has a completely different style to it. I think for creating such an aetherial look, the artist probably used watercolor.
This looks beautiful, and I love that the creator used the little stickers and other elements to create a whole vibe to their weekly layout.
Ice cream is a perfect theme to try in July, so I had to include this weekly spread in the list. it;'s a cute and vell organised weekly layout.
You don't have to come up with a special item as a theme; you can create a theme around colors as well. Like this beautiful weekly layout that is themed "pink and purple". This is also a great example of how to use washi tape in your journal.
And last but not least is the beautiful weekly spread. The color match is incredible, and I love that the creator just chose random stickers that match the color scheme to decorate it.
These are just a few beautiful weekly spreads I found people using in July; I’m sure you found something here that inspires you and your planning.
