As a fellow stationery enthusiast, I know firsthand the thrill (and occasional anxiety) that comes with shopping for new Bullet Journal supplies. Picture walking into a store or browsing online, only to be greeted by an endless array of pens, notebooks, stickers, and washi tapes. It’s like being a kid in a candy store, but instead of sweets, you’re surrounded by a rainbow of ink colors and a variety of paper textures.
And then there’s the global community of Bullet Journal enthusiasts! From Tokyo to Toronto, people are using different tools and supplies to create their unique journals. It’s fascinating to see, but it can also add to the feeling of “Where do I even start?”

Must-Have Journaling Supplies
The world of Bullet Journal supplies is a bit like a giant playground, isn't it? So many colors, so many possibilities - it can feel like you're on an endless quest to find the perfect pen or the ultimate notebook.
Just as our journals are unique expressions of ourselves, so too are the tools we choose to use.
However, through my own Bullet Journaling adventures (and the occasional stationery shopping spree), I've discovered a few universal gems that I believe can enhance any Bullet Journal, regardless of your personal style. They're like the secret weapons in my Bullet Journaling arsenal – always reliable, always useful, and sure to bring a little extra sparkle to your pages.
So, buckle up, fellow stationery lovers, as we embark on a journey through my top picks for must-have Bullet Journal supplies.
Notebook
The first thing you'll need is, of course, a journal! And I always recommend you get a heap training journal first. I had my first jurnal fo two months before I felt like I was ready for a r4al journal, and when my first journal literally fell apart.
But your journal quality actually matters. To avoid bleeding and ghosting, you need to get a quality journal. A notebook is a bass of your Bullet Journal, so you'll want to get a good one. Here are a few of my favorites.
Starting with my favorite brand for journals. With their high-quality paper and new beautiful journal designs released constantly, you definitely will be able to find something you'll love
And you can get 10% OFF the order with my code MASHA10.
Another fantastic brand for the journals, and they come in many different colors and sizes. They have excellent paper and already a few pre-made pages to help you get started.
Pens
Net up are pens! You'll need some pens for writing and generally creating your pages. There are plenty of options in this category, but not to overwhelm you, here are my top three choices.
These are my favrote pens for wrting. Thy ink flows smoothly, and they create beautiful thin lines. Plus, they look really aesthetic.
If you're more into tickr lines for your evreyday writing, Pilot G2 is the ay to go! They run smoothly and also come in many different colors if you want to spice it up.
Fineliners are the blood of your Bullet Journal; they are great for writing, doodling, or generally drawing all your page elements.
These particular ones are some of the best out there, and they come in a set with different line thicknesses to allow you more variety.
Markers
Next up are the markers, which is what you need if you want to add color to your Bullet Journal pages.
The choice of markers will depend on what colors you like, but here are some of my recommendations.
Crayola Super Tips are the best choice for beginners. They ocme in many colors, up to100 actually. They are also pretty affordable, and you can actually use them for brush lettering as well.
These st my favorite markers of all time, mostly because of the beautiful colors. They have two tips, one highlighter, and one marker, so you can use them in many ways.
Brush Pens
Brush pens are perfect to add those beautiful ettering element to your pages, but can also be used for adding color or even just drawing.
These brush pens are perfect, especially for beginners. They sre very easy to master and great for creating smaller brush lettering elements, like your daily headers.
if you're looking for a bigger brush tip, these are your go-to! They also come in so many colors, and ave a dual tip so you can use them as a brush pen or as a marker.
Rulers
The final set of recommended stationery from me are the rulers, because you definitely need them for drawing all your pages and I gave a few geat ideas for you.
This little ruler is absolute magic! It allows you to skip all the math you need to do for every page you set up. WIth this ruler you can automatically divide your page into the parts you need.
Last but not least is this affordbale circle maket. It will help you create all types of circle elements, and I believe all the circle elements look extra fabulous on Bullet Journal pages.
