Nothing takes us back to the charm of autumn more than getting ready in our comfiest sweaters and creating pumpkin-filled Bullet Journal pages with all the memories and festivities of the season.
Whether it’s Halloween, Thanksgiving, or anything in between, October is packed full of possibilities that are great to document. Here are some amazing October Bullet Journal cover page ideas to make this month memorable!
Cover pages are some of the best ways to pick a theme and aesthetics for your Bullet Journal monthly setup, plus they are super fun to create!
I’ve been Bullet Journaling since 2018, so of course I have plenty of different cover pages to share as I tried new themes. But in this post, I also gathered pages from other creators, so you get a wide variety of styles.

October Bullet Journal Cover Page Ideas
Considering that the number of theme ideas is limited only by your imagination, it’s easy to create never-ending posts with so many beautiful cover pages.
But let’s be reasonable! For this lineup, I got 17 cover pages for you to enjoy.
Halloween Bullet Journal Cover Page
Since October is a Halloween month for many, I also love to include it in my October setups. This was the first-ever October setup I’ve made, and I must say it might still be my favorite one for that month.
A fun technique I created that month to keep it a bit creepier was to use only black and white for the illustrations, except for the pumpkins’ orange.
Mushroom Cover Page
Mushrooms are a very Fall theme, so that it would work perfectly for any month! I love that the creator here made it a bit more fun as a little mushroom house.
The creator also used stamps to create those letters, and I really love that cozy retro effect you can get with those. I think it’s a perfect way to add some charm to your pages, and it is especially fitting for Fall.
Cat Themed Cover Page
I love this cute cover page and the way this creator approached the cat theme. The creator used simple doodles, but by keeping the color palette and adding patterns, they really managed to create something extra special.
The brush lettering here is also an absolute star; the letters look amazing, and using a white gel pen to add a shine is a great trick. If you are looking for a good one, I think the best one on the market is Sakura Gelly Roll.
Mean Girls Cover Page
Jess always comes up with fun ideas, and this “Mean Girls” inspired cover page is no exception! Such a fun and pretty page, and I’m absolutely obsessed with this color combination and contrast.
Pastel Witch Cover Page
If you want to create a witchy spread, it doesn’t mean you can’t make it cute – this month I used pastel colors to make it more like a dreamy witchy apothecary style.
And a black cat is definitely a must-have companion for any witchy setup, but in this case it was specifically inspired by Kiki’s Delivery Service movie.
Floral Moon Cover Page
Flowers are a beautiful idea for any month of the year, but I feel like the moon makes it look a bit spooky, perfect for an October theme!
The Dutch door cover page is a very interesting effect. I know it seems scary to cut your journal, but it’s honestly not a big deal. I like using sewing scissors for cutting my journal.
October Bullet Journal Cover Page
The masquerade theme is very mysterious and can even be spooky, so I think it’s a perfect theme for October. I also really love this style with mostly different shades of black; very ominous.
I also adore how Natasha always adds some kind of interactive elements to her cover pages; this particular one is so extra creepy!
Tea October Cover Page
I know Fall as a whole season is all about pumpkin spice lattes, but tea might be just as cozy a drink for this season. As a fellow tea lover, I’m obsessed with this idea.
I love the aesthetic of this cover page, and I think it was achieved with a beautiful cover combination and some stylish washi tapes.
Cozy October Cover Page
Fall is a perfect cozy season, when it’s chilly enough to wear all the cute sweaters but not so cold that you can’t move under all the layers. And I think this page incorporates all the coziness of the season and the little moments you get to enjoy.
The key elements here, I think, that would help you recreate the same aesthetic are using kraft paper, using book pages, and choosing a cozy, soft color palette.
Witchy October Cover Page
In my square journal, I wanted to go with something witchy and dark for October, so that’s my take on this theme. It definitely was fun playing around with all the different types of paper.

Nature Themed Cover Page
This cover page is absolutely stunning, and I would love to have it hanging on my wall! It’s absolutely incredible, and it captures the beauty of the season so well.
Botany Cover Page
This is a beautiful cover page and a great way to bring your love for plants to your Bullet Journal pages. I also think the creator used stickers for it, so it’s one more proof that you can use stationery to create beautiful pages; you don’t necessarily need to spend hours drawing if you don’t want to.
Pumpkin Bullet Journal Cover Page
Pumpkin, a traditional Fall plant, makes a perfect decoration for any Fall Bullet Journal setup. For October, though, I wonder if it’s also a little nod to spooky Halloween decorations.
Coffee-Themed Cover Page
Coffee is one of the best themes for any month, I think, but it probably feels especially special in October when we all get to enjoy our pumpkin-spiced lattes.
This is a very different type of coffee theme; the creator took a distinct artistic approach, and I think it looks incredible. Using just one color is a great trick for making your pages stand out and have a distinctive aesthetic.
Aesthetic Cover Page
Another stylish cover page full of tiny beautiful things that are a staple of the season. I love this idea of presenting it all like a picnic!
This creator used pencils to add color, and you can see how it created that soft, blended look for all the illustrations.
Spooky Bullet Journal Cover Page
If you want some classic Halloween vibes, this cover page might be the exact inspiration you need. It has all the elements you’d expect from a door to a spooky house!
Harvest-Themed Cover Page
Fall is the harvest season, so I think this theme would work very well for October, especially since this farmer mostly transports pumpkins.
Also, notice how, for the illustration, this creator didn’t use any fineliners, which created a very different effect from the cover page.
Stationery Recommendations

- Sakura Pigma Micron – a good fineliner is the blood of every Bullet Journal page, especially for October when you get to play around so much with black color.
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens – they have a lot of beautiful colors, including different shades of orange and other Fall beauties. Plus, they are great for adding color and brush lettering!

- Washi Tape – there are many wonderful washi tapes out there, and you can definitely find some that would fit our aesthetics, but I think these ones are something special and always add style to Fall-themed pages.
