Stationery Recommendations

Let’s have a quick talk about the Bents supplies you will love using in your Bullet Journal every day! After all, stationery is what makes journaling even more fun, at least in my book.

  • Journal. I think this is the most important part, and you gotta get a good one. My recommendations are getting something with 160 GSM paper, like Archer and Olive (MASHA10 for 10% OFF) or Scribbles That Matter (SAVE10 for 10% OFF).
  • Fineliners. These are the basis for every Bullet Journal page and your faithful companions in the world of journaling. My top recommendation is the Sakura Pigma Micron, which also comes in different nib sizes, allowing for a variety of line thicknesses.
  • Brush pens. Brush pens are perfect for adding brush lettering to your Bullet Journal pages, drawing, or even adding color. I would recommend the Tombow Fude brush pen for a smaller brush tip and the Tombow Dual Brush for a larger brush tip and significantly more colors.
  • Stencils. Stencils are a great way to add decorative or functional elements to your Bullet Journal pages quickly. These stencils are my favorite that cover creating all types of pages.

Ok, enough stationery talk. Let’s dive into the meat of the post, and let me share some simple ideas for you to try right away!

Simple Bullet Journal Page Ideas

Any idea can be a Bullet Journal page, and always remember it’s up to you to choose how simple or elaborate the layout will come out.

Never listen to anyone when it comes to your journal, there is no wrong way to do it, it’s your journal and you do it your way!

Nonetheless, here are a few ideas you might want to try. Just be sure you don’t try ALL these ideas at once, we don’t want Bullet Journaling to become overwhelming.

Weekly Spread

This is where you plan your day-to-day activities, and for me, this is the working hour of your Bullet Journal.

This is the layout that will help you stay on top of all your goals and aspirations and get everything done on time.

Monthly Log

This is easy – it’s your entire month at a glance. It’s also a great place to write down everything you are planning to do this month, together with your goals and important dates.

Bullet Journal Future Log

This layout provides you with a bird’s eye view of the year ahead. It’s a great place to add anything you have planned for the future, long-term, so it is never forgotten.

Importantly, this is also a place to record any birthdays coming up, so you never forget the important people in your life.

Habit Tracker

It’s all those pesky little daily habits that have the biggest impact on our lives, and a habit tracker is a wonderful tool to help you build better habits and eventually improve your life.

Meal Planning Page

Eating well is one of the most important things you can do for your physical and mental health, and planning your meals in your Bullet Journal can help you with this new healthy eating habit.

After all, if you already have a plan, it’s much easier to follow it rather than fall back into fast food and unhealthy snacks.

Mood Tracker

A fantastic tool to help you get to know your emotions better and build a better idea of how you can improve your general mental state.

You can get even more from this tracker if you use it together with other pages, so you can see a collation of your daily habits and your moods.

Gratitude Log

This is hands down my favorite Bullet Journal page. It’s an easy idea that will help you to build a more positive outlook on life and appreciation for all the wonderful things in your life.

Fitness Tracker

Your Bullet Journal can help you stay on track with your health and fitness goals, and there are many ways you can do it.

Have a page where you plan out your workouts, write stats on all the exercises you did, or your daily measurements.

Bucket List

I think bucket list pages are perfect to bring more spark and interest to your life. They are there to kick us out of the monotone everyday troubles and remind us to do the little things that bring us joy.

There are also many different types of bucket lists you can create, so experiment and see what works for you.

Routine Layouts

Creating routines is a great way to streamline and simplify your days. It gives you more mental energy, creates a schedule that is easy to follow, and helps you be the most productive person.

And there are many different routines you can create; I would definitely recommend that you think of repeated things you do every day and see if you can put them all together in a routine.

Favorite QUotes

Quotes are a powerful tool; they can help you create a certain mood, set the tone for the month, or even keep you motivated. So why not have a layout in your journal with your favorite quotes?

You can also create separate quote pages for each month or season whenever you need that extra boost.

Brain Dump

This is a simple and yet super powerful layout. Basically, you open a page and write down everything on your mind, worries, anxieties, to-do list, and goals. Once it’s all out there, you can sit down calmly and work through it all, making a plan on how to handle it all.

All you need to create this layout is the header and, preferably, the date when you fill it out.

Sleep Log

Sleep is one of the most important things we do for our health, and yet once life gets busy, it’s the first thing to go.

Havin ga sleep log can help you ensure you’re getting the rest you ned every day and take care of yourself.

Books To Read

If you’re a reader or trying to get back to books, you might enjoy having a layout that visually represents all the books you’ve read or books you’re planning to read.

Movies/TV Shows to Watch

You can apply the same principle to movies as TV shows. That way, next time you are thinking of something to watch, you won’t need to scroll through Netflix for an hour – you could just open your Bullet Journal and see all the things you’ve been wanting to see.

Cleaning Tracker

Cleaning is not fun at all, but it’s easy to always keep your home in the best shape if you have a tracker to help you manage all the chores.

Goal Setting Page

You never get there if you don’t know where you’re going, and a goal-setting page can help you have a clear idea of what you want from your life.

Add to it a step-by-step plan on how to achieve your goals and you’ll be on the way to success!

Finance And Budget Layout

Managing your money can be hard, and sometimes it feels too overwhelming. But seeing all your finances outlined on paper is a game-changer, so definitely try to create a budget page in your Bullet Journal.

You can set certain budget limits to different categories, or maybe just spend a month tracking how much money you spent on what to see what your spending habits are and how you can improve on those.

Monthly Review Page

This is a fun and simple way to summarise your month, check up with yourself how you did, how your path to your goals is going, and what, if anything, you want to do differently next month.

For me, this is also a space to record any important to me moments and memories.

Self-Care Ideas Spread

What I noticed is that in the times when we need self-care the most, we actually have the least amount of energy to do something or even decide what it is we can do to make ourselves feel better.

That’s why I think this layout is a complete game changer: next time you’re feeling low, you can just open your journal, and it will already have the solution.

Vision Board

I know usually when speaking of a vision board we are thinking of something hanging on your wall, but you can definitely create one in your Bullet Journal as well.

It’s a smaller project, it’s easier to create, and you will see it every day when you open your BuJo. Plus, it’s much more private that way.

There you go. Here are just 21 page ideas to get you started and give you a little glimpse of what’s possible with your Bullet Journal.
