Stationery Recommendations
Before we dive into weekly layout inspirations, let’s talk about stationery since you’ll obviously need some for creating your weekly spreads.
So here are a few of my favorites that I’m sure you’ll love and find useful as well.
But keep in mind that you can definitely just use whatever you already have in your collection!
- Fineliners. These are the basics for every Bullet Journal page, perfect for drawing and doodling. I recommend Sakura Pigma Micron, which also comes in a set with different nib sizes, allowing you a variety of line thicknesses.
- Markers. If you want to add color to your pages, you’ll need some markers. Your choice will depend on what colors you like. My top choices are Zebra Mildliners and Tombow Twin Tone.
- Brush pens. To add beautiful brush lettering to your weekly spreads, you need a good set of brush pens. I recommend Tombow Fudensuke since they are smaller tips and pretty easy to master. If you’re looking for a larger brush pen and soemthing with tons of colors, you can’t go wrong with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
- Stencils. These little helpers are great to allow you to set up your weekly spreads faster. I recommend these weekly spread stencils that are built specifically for your weekly pages.
With all your supplies prepared, let’s look at some wonderful and creative weekly spreads!

This weekly spread is so well structured that the creator managed to include a lot of elements while also keeping the daily boxes pretty large. I also adore the color scheme of this spread.
When using larger journals, like my Nuuna notebook, I love using one-page weekly spreads. With that much space, you might not actually need two pages to plan your week.
This spread is also a good example of how you can use stickers and washi tape to decorate your page.
You can absolutely create a stunning page by going very minimal with your decorations. This is a great example, and I love the green accents the creator added to t his page.
This page has a beautiful set of colors and adorable drawings. I also really like that the creator used the little border outside of the entire spread; it kind of makes it stand out a bit more.
This is a simple but very powerful design, allowing you space for all the things you need to plan your week, as well as an area to express your creativity.
I love using different types of paper to decorate my Bullet Journal, and as you can see, it created a fun little contrast. For this, I used my Archer and Olive notepads, since they have different color paper with dot grids. And you can get them 10% OFF if you use my code MASHA10.
Here is one more example of how different types of paper can be used for decorating your journal, together with stickers and washi tape. This page has a beautiful, clean feel to it.
This spread might seem pretty simple, but it's the details that make it stand out. From intricate leaf designs on the sides to the gold accents for the daily boxes, these things really make this weekly log one of a kind.
I love how you can use any theme you want on your weekly spread, and this one is obviously inspired by Hokusai art.
I also like how this page approaches a weekly setup differently, where there are little daily boxes for any date-related appointments, but the rest is a bulk set of to-do lists themed by different areas of life.
This weekly doesn't have a Sunday, as I can see, but it's beautiful and has so many moving parts in it. I love the banners the creator used for each day and the little timeline for each day that works a bit like a divider between days.
This weekly spread was when I've been trying to have a separate area for main goals and tasks for each day of the week. Even though I don't use this anymore, at the time, it really helped me to stay on top of my goals.
I love the idea of using watercolor to color the daily boxes. That way, they look more attractive and are still pretty much usable. I also find it super fun that the creator went for a triangle shape for daily boxes rather than the usual rectangle one.
Last but not least is this stunning spread that combines my two favorite elements - pink color and metallic accents!
