Stationery Recommendations
Of course, to create a winter theme in your Bullet Journal, you’ll need some supplies. And with the amount of different stationery types and brands available, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and buy the things you won’t like or use.
So here are some of my recommendations:
- A journal. You’ll obviously need a journal for your pages, and the good news is that it doesn’t have to be anything too expensive; just find a journal that you like. Personally, I’ve been loving Scribbles That Matter journals (use code SAVE10 for 10% OFF).
- Fineliners. These are the blood of your every Bullet Journal page. They are great for drawing, creating your pages, adding lettering, and more. My favorites are Sakura Pigma Micron, and the set comes with pens of different nib sizes to add variety to your line thickness.
- Markers. If you want to add some color to your pages, markers are your best friends. There are plenty out there; I really like Tombow Twin Tone markers for their colors. And my top recommendation all the time are the Crayola Super Tips, since they come in many colors and are pretty affordable.
- Brush Pens. In case you want to add some brush lettering to your pages, you’ll need some brush pens. I recommend Tombow Fudenosuke, sine they are perfect for beginners and can be used for drawing as well.
- Washi Tape. If you want an easy way to decorate your Bullet Journal pages, washi tapes are the way to go! There are so many different designs and different colors; you’ll definitely be able to find something that fits your style.
With all the supplies at hand, let’s get comfortable in your home office or couch and start planning!
Winter Bullet Journal Ideas
When it comes to Bullet Journaling, especially with a winter theme, there are as many ideas out there as there are snowflakes in a snowstorm. But hey, we don't want to overwhelm you with a blizzard of ideas, do we? So, I've handpicked 9 (lucky for some!) winter Bullet Journal ideas. Why 13? Well, because it's just enough to spark that creative flame without making your head spin!
Now, these ideas, they're like jumping-off points, a nudge to get your creative juices flowing. And believe me, once they start flowing, there's no stopping them! You'll find yourself adding your own twist to these ideas, and before you know it, you'll have a Bullet Journal spread that's as unique and amazing as you are.
The beauty of this idea lies in its simplicity, yet the result is nothing short of mesmerizing. It's like having your own pocket-sized constellation right at your fingertips.
And let me tell you, there's something about this minimalist theme that just hits differently. It's clean, it's neat, and it leaves plenty of room for your thoughts to shine. It's like a breath of fresh air amidst the chaos of everyday life, a quiet corner where your ideas can twinkle like the stars they are.
This idea is a gentle reminder that simplicity is beautiful and that even on the cloudiest days, stars are shining somewhere in the universe. So why not bring a bit of that celestial magic into our Bullet Journals?
This Bullet Journal page might not have a fancy theme name, but oh boy, does it scream 'cozy winter nights'! The use of kraft paper is pure genius - it gives the page a rustic, snuggle-up-with-a-hot-cocoa kind of feel. It's like having your own tiny log cabin right in your Bullet Journal.
And those tiny green elements? They're like whispers of pine trees, bringing in a dash of nature and freshness to your pages. Plus, pine trees are like the poster child for winter - evergreen, resilient, and oh-so-peaceful. Just like a quiet walk through a snowy forest.
Here is another winter Bullet Journal idea that is not necessarily connected to a winter theme.
Let's talk beverages - the warm, comforting kind that make winter just a little bit cozier. Now, I'm a tea person through and through. Give me a steaming mug of my favorite brew, and I'm a happy camper, no matter what the season.
But here's the thing - as much as I adore my trusty cuppa, I sometimes feel like I'm missing out on all the other delicious hot drinks that are synonymous with winter. I mean, who can resist a rich, creamy hot cocoa or that sinfully sweet concoction they serve up at Starbucks (seriously, it's like Christmas in a cup!).
So, here's a fun idea - why not create a "Hot Drinks Bucket List" in your Bullet Journal? Jot down all those toasty beverages you've been meaning to try, and make it your mission to sample each one before the season ends. It's a small, simple way to add a dash of excitement to those chilly winter days.
This Bullet Journal page is like a love letter to winter, capturing the sheer joy and playfulness that comes with a snow day. And how, you ask? With a good old white gel pen! It's like they've managed to bottle up snowflakes and pour them onto their pages - it's simply breathtaking.
This, my friends, is a winter theme done right. It's a delightful blend of creativity and nostalgia, a celebration of the season that's as heartwarming as a cup of hot cocoa on a cold day.
Let's chat about a winter wonder that never ceases to fascinate us - snowflakes! These icy jewels are synonymous with the season, and each one is unique, much like our own journaling journeys.
Isn't it amazing how something as simple as a snowflake can hold such beauty and complexity in its design?
Now, imagine bringing this winter magic into your Bullet Journal. How about dedicating a page to doodling different types of snowflakes? It's a fun and creative exercise that not only adds a touch of winter charm to your journal but also helps you practice and improve your doodling skills.
Alright, pals, let's take a peek into this delightful New Year's themed Bullet Journal. But let me tell you, when I first laid eyes on that cover page, all I could think of was "cozy brown goodness".
You know, it's like that feeling you get when you curl up with a good book, sipping on a hot cup of cocoa, while the world outside is blanketed in snow. That's the vibe this cover page exudes!
And can we just take a moment to appreciate the sheer beauty of the lettering here? It's like each letter has been carefully crafted with love and precision. Then there's the washi tape - oh, the washi tape! It's the cherry on top of this aesthetic masterpiece. It ties everything together, adding a dash of color and texture without overpowering the overall theme.
Let's chat about a fun idea that can add a dash of excitement to your winter days - a Winter Bucket List! Because let's face it, winter has its own special charm, doesn't it? From the first snowfall to cozy nights by the fireplace, there's so much to love about this season.
So, why not make the most of it with a Winter Bucket List? Jot down all those seasonal activities you've been meaning to try (or those you love and want to do again!). Whether it's building the perfect snowman, sipping hot cocoa by the fire, or finally learning to ice skate - put it all on your list!
This way, you're not just going through the motions of the season, but actively seeking out joy and making wonderful memories along the way. Plus, there's something incredibly satisfying about ticking off each item as you go along, trust me!
You know, I've always had a soft spot for the winter sky. There's something about the crispness of the air and the brilliance of the stars that just gets to me every time. And let me tell you, seeing it captured so beautifully in a Bullet Journal - it's like a love letter to winter nights!
The combination of the starlit sky and winter fauna not only fits the season perfectly but also lends an air of mystique and wonder to your journal.
I have a fun and fabulous idea to add a touch of winter sparkle to your journal - think winter fireworks, but without the frostbite!
Here's the secret: Acrylograph pens. Yes, you heard that right! These little beauties are about to become your new best friends.
When you use these vibrant Acrylograph pens on black paper, the results are nothing short of magical. The colors pop off the page, creating a look that's not just functional, but also absolutely stunning. It's like having a mini fireworks display right there in your Bullet Journal!
