Yearly Workout Trackers For Your Bullet Journal
Do you know that there are so many yearly Bullet Journal page ideas out there? Today we’ll be talking about one of these pages, a yearly workout tracker.
Committing to something for a year seems scary, but it is easier than you think, and you get a lot of benefits out of it as well.
In this post, you’ll learn a bit about yearly trackers, get inspirations for creating your own tracker, and finally, you’ll also find a list of printable yearly trackers you can use.
Having a yearly tracker can be quite a commitment. But it has some benefits to offer:
- Set it up just once, and it lasts for a year
- Keep you motivated the entire year
- See your progress in a yearly overview
The key to succeeding with a yearly tracker is to pick something that would not be too much of a change and increase it gradually.
Thankfully, you don’t actually have to keep the same habit all year; you can change it up a little bit.
For example, when it comes to workouts, you can start by tracking that you walk 10k steps a day and then slowly add other types of workouts to the tracker. You’ll see some examples of that below.
But before that, I think you might want to check these two posts:
Now, let’s talk about supplies.

Supplies For Creating A Yearly Workout Tracker
You don’t need much to create a yearly habit tracker. In fact, you might not even need a journal for that – you might want to use a notepad and stick the tracker somewhere where you’ll constantly see it.
But here are some supplies I think you might find useful:
- Fineliner. You’ll need a good pen for drawing the table for the tracker. These are my favorites.
- Ruler. Another thing you definitely need for all the tables for your tracker. I really love how this one looks.
- Markers. You’ll need color to fill out your trackers. You can technically do it with patterns, but I always find that it’s easier to visually understand the tracker if you use colors. If you don’t have anything, just get these amazing and affordable markers.
Ok, you have your supplies assembled, time to get inspired by these pages.
Yearly Workout Tracker Ideas
If you're ready to commit to a healthier year in your life - these trackers are for you! They are so fun to create and what I love about them is that you can actually follow the same format but use it for anything other.
Like a yearly mood tracker, or maybe trying another habit, like daily meditation.
Well, let's look into the trackers.
I love this tracker and how you can create one without using any colored markers - just use colorful pens to add workouts in different patterns.
I love that there is a special color for the days you don't work out, so it looks good even on the days you don't work out. I think it's pretty important because it's normal to have some days when you skip.
Two creative trackers for two yearly trackers, both are workout related. That way, you don't need to create a key for different types of workouts.
I love the bright colors of this workout tracker. I think making the colors brighter makes it more motivational to actually work on filling it out.
A different take on a yearly tracker, and this one might be easier to create than the big table. I bet it has a key with different colors for a different workout, and I love that to fill out the tracker, the creator used those beautiful patterns.
Walking is probably the easiest type of workout. This is definitely a perfect kind of workout to start with a yearly workout log.
If you're looking to track that, check my post with Step Tracker Bullet Journal Page Ideas.
Beautiful tracker, and I think it's very useful to have two squares for each day. That way, you can log two typed of workouts or maybe use one for a workout and one for your moods or any other type of habit.
This is such a fun idea for a yearly tracker. That way, you clearly see which month it is, and I love the idea of using different colors for each month.
I love the colors on this one and the beautiful header. That contrast of the colorful "workout" and the black brush lettering. The contrast in color and style together looks amazing!
Finishing up with this cute Hobonichi journal yearly tracker. I love how cute it looks, and the pastel colors of the stickers really help make it even more adorable.
For me, the only issue here is that because the pages are smaller, you can't really fit all 12 months here. But if you're using an A5 journal, this should not be a problem.

But what if you want a yearly tracker but don’t really have time to do one in your Bullet Journal?
You just have to use printables, of course! So here are several I found online that I’m sure you will love.
Printable Yearly Workout Trackers
There are so many different printables out there; I'm sure you'll find here the one that you'll love.
To begin with, here is something you can find in y shop - a health hand fitness bundle with 7 printable spreads. One of which is a yearly workout tracker.
Next up is this yearly tracker, and I love how there are these icons on the top that you can color and use as your key, so you always know what kind of workout you did that year.
I love circle trackers and how beautiful they look, and this one is no exception. I think this is a very creative way to approach a yearly circle tracker, and it has enough space for you to add the key.
A wonderful approach to a classic yearly tracker. I love the fact that each day has this light gray letter for the fay of the week.
I was really impressed by this one; it looks so different. It kind of combines the circle tracker with a table-style one.
Not all of these are actually A5 size, but you can definitely resize them when printing. If you want to know how just check my post on How To Use Printables In Your Bullet Journal.
