Stationery Recommendations
Now, before we dive into inspirations for autumn themes, let’s have a quick chat about stationery and some fun supplies that will make your monthly setups more fun and enjoyable.
Here are my favorites, especially for Fall themes:
- Sakura Pigma Micron – a great fineliner is a must-have for any Bullet Journal spread, and these are some of the best for sure!
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens – they have a lot of beautiful colors, including different shades of orange and other Fall beauties. Plus, they are great for adding color and brush lettering!
- Washi Tape – there are many wonderful washi tapes out there, and you can definitely find some that would fit our aesthetics, but I think these ones are something special and always add style to Fall-themed pages.
- Tombow Fude Pens – brush lettering adds style and character to any Bullet Journal spread, and I think it would be amazing for Fall-themed pages as well.
Ok, now that we have all the supplies at the ready and you’re inspired, let’s dive in and find you an incredible theme to explore this autumn.
Autumn Bullet Journal Theme Inspirations

But don't worry, if you ever want more, you can always check the end of this post for even more ideas.
Let's dive in!
All the bright and beautiful colors of leaves during fall are probably the first thing that comes to mind when I think of the season. And it's an amazing theme to explore in your Bullet Journal as well!
With autumn being a harvest season, of course, pies have to be a fitting theme. And can you even think of Thanksgiving without a delicious pie on the table?
Of course, October is the Halloween month, and there are plenty of inspiring themes to explore about it. Here is the first one on this list - cute ghosts! And I really love how it all looks against the black paper, really adding to the mood.
There is nothing wrong with opting for a general autumn theme, incorporating small doodles and seasonal elements into your pages, such as coffee, pumpkins, and fall leaves. I think this is a beautiful theme, and the creator did an amazing job capturing the spirit of the season.
You can't think of fall without thinking of pumpkin spice lattes, so of course this is a fun theme to explore. There are many ways you can approach it, and here is just one of those to get your imagination going.
This creator opted for a cozy theme featuring books and coffee, and it also has a special autumnal look due to the colors they chose to use.
Even though this fox looks more like an enchanted spirit than a real fox, I feel that it's a very fitting theme for the season. And you can see the different colored leaves around it, confirming this idea.
Witches being an important part of Halloween, they make an amazing theme for fall, but especially for October. My cover page was inspired a bit by my favorite witch Kiki from "Kiki's delivery service" animated movie.
Here is an example of how to turn your fall theme into something extra stylish and minimalist. The creator just added tiny doodles for slight accents, and you can see how the theme has a completely different feel to it.
Pumpkin is a big symbol of the season, and they are a great theme to explore as well. Oh, and this creator actually has an Etsy Shop where you can buy these stickers and create the same theme in your Bullet Journal with ease.
It's so much fun going mushroom picking, and September was always the best time to do it. For me, it brings plenty of childhood memories of the times I went mushroom hunting with my grandfather.
Generally, it fits the harvest vibe of the season, and you can play around so much with mushroom shapes and colors!
Acords are a fantastic theme to explore, and you can add a little squirrel to it as well!
I love how this creator approached the theme and the beautiful colors they used; to me, it just screams autumn!
Every time I see anything rustic, I automatically think of autumn. For me, anything with Kraft paper immediately evokes cozy autumn vibes, and this creator absolutely nailed it!
When autumn comes, it's time to wear the cozy sweater, get your pumpkin-spiced latte, and sit in a coffee shop, people watching and reading your book. It's a perfect fall activity in my mind, and therefore, a fall cafe theme makes perfect sense!
Last but not least is this incredible theme for October. It's a take on a spooky skeleton theme, but I especially want to highlight how incredibly it looks on the black pepper and with those gold accents. It's very artistic, but also on theme with the dark feeling of the holiday.
