Fun And Creative Bullet Journal Headers
Bullet Journal titles are some of the easiest ways to add a bit of spark and creativity to your pages.
And the best thing about it is that they don’t have to be too elaborate and you don’t need all the expensive supplies. In fact, you can create headers with just one pen.
In this post, I’ll share with you tons of fun ideas for headers in your journal.
I’m always up for new header ideas because they can be used in many ways. You can use them for your cover page, as a big header for all your collections, and in your weekly spreads.
You’ll find here tons of ideas, but also be sure to scroll until the end for more recommendations and ideas, as well as a free creativity course.
Bullet Journal Headers
There are so many ideas here that I'm sure you'll find one that fits your style, your stationery collection and your lettering skills.
Starting with my own set of ideas. As you can see, you don't need any lettering skills, and you can make all these headers with your regular gel pens.
If you have any brush pens, here are a few things you can do with them. As you can see, only two of these ideas are with using brush lettering.
If you don't want color in your headers, you can always just use one black pen and create so many exciting headers.
These are in the same color scheme, but by just using different fonts, how very distinct each style becomes.
A fun idea for your lettering is to add patterns and different colors inside the letters. You can use it on brush lettering, but also you can use the same ideas if you use block letters for example.
Great set of headers, and I think with this color, they are perfect for any winter page. But change the color and they will work for any other season.
If you only have a set of highlighters, you can still create a lot of beautiful headers like these ones.
Another way to elevate your headers is to use different types of banners around them. These are perfect examples of this concept, and they will work great for your weekly spreads.
I love how creative these headers are, with both the colors and the style of lettering.
Beautiful set of headers, and I like how these titles play on the contrast between the color and the black.
I love these cute headers. Just a few colors, but repeat them in pattern and it created such a beautiful effect.
If pastel is your jam, here are a few ideas. But, of course, always remember that you can use the same concept with different colors.
Finally, here are a few cute June headers. I like the ideas here, like the mushrooms on the background of the header.

Stationery For Bullet Journal Headers
There is a limitless amount of pens and markers you can use for creating headers, but here are a few of my recommendations.
Sakura Pigma Micron
Finaliners are definitely the best pens for drawing and decorating your notes or journals. Some of the best fineliners out there!
Zebra Mildliner Highlighter
These are my absolute favorite pens; you probably will see them on 90% of my pages. The colors are beautiful, and you can also find them in a brush pen form.
Tombow Dual Brush Pen
I love these brush pens and the fact that they come in such a crazy amount of colors. Plus they have a double tip, so if you don't know how to do brush lettering, you can always just use the marker tip to do some faux calligraphy.
Staedtler Triplus Fineliners
If you want to add color to your headers, you don't have to use markers. You can definitely just use colored pens, and these are fantastic.
Journal Stencils
Finally, try out using stencils; they will help you not just with fonts but with fun and creative banners. This set has 30 different ones and is very affordable.
