15+ Bullet Journal Ideas For Self Care

Sharing is caring!

There are Bullet Journal ideas for more than just a way to organize your plans; they can also be a powerful tool for nurturing your well-being and prioritizing self-care.

If you’ve been searching for creative ways to unwind, reflect, and recharge, you’re in the right place.

A Bullet Journal isn’t just about to-do lists and schedules—it’s a space for self-expression, emotional check-ins, and intentional growth. From mood trackers to gratitude logs, there are endless ways to create layouts that support your mental and emotional health.

This post is packed with Bullet Journal self-care ideas to help you make time for yourself and feel more balanced.

One of the things I really love about the Bullet Journal method is how it can really be anything. Once I started using it for my goals and planning, and saw the results, I really wanted to explore what else could be done, how else I could customize this tool to make it work for me.

Self-care is definitely something I struggle with, and I think it’s common to many. It feels selfish, it’s never a priority, and it’s always last on the to-do list.

I thought it would be a great idea to try using my Bullet Journal for self-care, and this is how I found myself diving deep into different pages and exploring my own needs to create some pages that would help me make a difference.

Here I’ll be sharing some pages that, over the years, I found most useful, and a lot of them, as a bonus, were super fun to create.

If, by the end of this post, you’re still in need of more, I have several additional posts linked at the end for you to explore.

Be sure you also scroll until the end to get some FREE Bullet Journal printables, many of which are the pages we’re talking about today. You can easily print them out and start using them right away.

Stationery Recommendations

One more thing before we dive into self-care bingo page inspirations is a little talk about stationery since you’ll need some supplies, and the choice out there can be overwhelming.

So, if you need some recommendations on the supplies to help you express your creativity:

  • Fineliners are the basis of all your Bullet Journal pages. I recommend Sakura Pigma Micron, and that set also comes with different nib sizes, so you can have a wider variety of line thicknesses.
  • Markers are what you’ll need if you want to add some color to your pages, and the choice of markers really depends on your color preferences. I’d recommend Crayola Super Tips since they come in many colors, are pretty affordable, and can also be used for brush lettering. For colors, my favorites are Zebra Mildliners and Tombow Twin Tone.
  • You’ll need brush pens if you want to add brush lettering to your Bullet Journal pages, which always elevates the look of your spreads. I’d recommend using Tombow Fudenosuke for smaller tip brush pens and Tombow Dual Brush for larger brush tips and more color options.
  • Washi tapes come in many colors and patterns and are an easy way to add more fun and creativity to your spreads. I’m sure you’ll be able to find something that fits your style and aesthetics.
  • Stickers are another little shortcut when it comes to decorating your spreads, and just like with washi tapes, there are so many different styles and types of stickers that you can definitely find ones that fit your style. My favorite places to shop for stickers are Etsy; RoseKPaperCo and ShineStickerStudio are my favorite sticker shops there.

With all your supplies at the ready, it’s time to get comfortable and see how you want to create your self-service bingo spread.

Bullet Journal Self Care Ideas

The main criteria for these pages were for them to bring me happiness and help me take care of myself.

So when you decide what page to add to your journal, don’t just follow my example, think of how this page could serve you and your personal needs.

However, the truth is you’ll never know for sure unless you give it a try. So once you’ve found some ideas that resonate with you, give them a try and see. There is no need to commit to them for the rest of your life – if it doesn’t work, leave it behind and try something different.

Now that we have this clarified, let’s dive in and let me share the pages I’m sure you’ll find helpful as well.

Positivity Notes

I call this page “positivity notes,” but this is just another way of saying gratitude log.

This is a fantastic way to spend a minute of so every day and write something wonderful that is happening in your life or what made you smile today.

This simple habit doesn’t just help bring a smile to your face, but also builds a more positive outlook, bit by bit every day.

Little Acts Of Kindness

Self-care is not only about yourself, it’s about giving it to people around you.

The little things you do for others bring you double the joy. And sometimes this is exactly what we need to feel a bit better.

This layout is wonderful for little things you can do, it doesn’t have to be something too big, but even a small thing can make a big impact on you and the other person.

15 Minute Self-Care

When we talk about self-care, it often feels like it has to be something big and imposing. But it really doesn’t have to be that way.

If you can dedicate 15 minutes a day to yourself, it will have a significant impact! It’s also useful to have a list of small things you can do, so next time you feel like you need some ‘me time,’ you can simply refer to this list and get some quick ideas.

Comfort List

Something I really enjoyed creating and that has been a great help is my comfort list.

When you’re down and need something special, you often lack the energy to make a good move. A layout like this provides a quick way to generate ideas, allowing you to choose one without expending mental energy.

Water Tracker

A small yet impactful thing you can do every day is drink enough water, and yet it’s surprisingly hard to do.

Well, having a tracker like this one can help, and it will ensure that you’re always taken care of your hydration.

Memory Keeping Page

I love memory keeping, and for me, even just creating pages like these is an act of self-care. It helps to always remember the important and wonderful little moments of your life.

And trust me, looking back on these pages will be so healing, as you’re reminded of all the things that’ve been happening, even though you might have thought it was a boring, uneventful time.

Self Care Ideas Page

It’s always wonderful to have a list like that, featuring all types of self-care activities to enjoy.

I like dividing it all into different categories based on what kind of things I feel like I need more care in certain areas.

This particular page is not yet filled out, but there are six categories listed: social, entertainment, creativity, environment, beauty, and health. I added a doodle for each area as a little symbol for the category.

Daily Routine Layout

Having routines is incredibly powerful, not just for productivity, but also for self-care. It allows you to include more activities that help you feel better without spending extra mental energy.

Here is an example of a daily routine, but you can also create smaller routines, such as a morning routine or a wind-down routine, for those little moments.

Skincare Routine Page

One of my favorite ways to practice self-care is my skincare routine, so of course, I had to create a separate page just for that.

If you know skincare, you know that it’s not the same every day; there are different things you can do to your skin, but maybe once a week or every other day. That’s why I created this weekly schedule, so I can follow the right routine on the right days.

Self Care On The Go

Here is another layout with a few simple, quick things you can do for yourself for a quick self-care time.

I must say that nails should probably not be on this list. For me, it’s an incredibly long procedure if I actually want to paint my nails at home and keep the paint smooth.

Mood Tracker

A good thing you can do for yourself is to know and understand your feelings. That’s why having a mood tracker can be very powerful.

It’s a simple little tool to help you understand your emotions better and learn more about yourself and how your moods switch as the month goes.

Happiness In Little Things Page

True self-care for me is largely about working on my mind. If I can help my mind be calm and happier, this is a job done.

That’s why this is a layout for small things that bring me happiness. First of all, just tinkering and creating this page was self-care, and a jolly good time. Secondly, it’s a great reminder that I can easily find joy in simple things and don’t need to overdo it with self-care rituals.

Meditation Tracker

Speaking of working on your mind, meditation is a wonderful way to practice self-care and self-reflection.

A tracker like this one can help you build that impactful and powerful habit, all while having fun with it!

How To Find Time For Self-Care

Finding time to actually do some self-care can feel selfish and almost impossible. That’s why I’ve created this layout with some techniques and ideas on how to make it happen.

This is a good reminder, I often look back at this layout when I feel like I’m too busy to do some self-care.

Happiness Jar

Honestly, creating this page was more of self-care than actually looking back at it. But I wanted to include it here anyway. I really think that just sitting down, creating a bit more elaborate layouts is self-care on its own, a way to have time just for yourself.

It was a good doodling practice, but also it’s always a good idea to think of all the good things in your life.

Fun & Recreation Page

Spending time on yourself to increase your energy and vigor is important, but sometimes, when we’re too tired, it’s hard to think clearly, and this is where this layout comes into play.

I also divided it into two categories: things I can do by myself and social activities, since you sometimes need different things.

Things To Do For Your Health

Taking care of your physical health is also an important part of your self-care, and since my health is usually the first thing to go sideways, I thought a layout like this would be helpful.

It’s a reminder of some quick and easy things you can do every day to ensure that you’re at your best physically, and that will improve everything else in your life as well.

Things To Try Page

Lastly, this layout includes some ideas for future hobbies to explore.

Hobbies are a great way to practice self-care; it’s all about making time for yourself to do the things you enjoy.

So, having a layout like that with some hobby ideas you might want to explore could be an interesting idea.

These are seventeen pages I’ve created, and I’m sure you’ll find a few ideas here to explore in your own Bullet Journal.
