Stationery Recommendations
Before we look into these space-themed pages, let’s talk about stationery that will be useful for you to actually use this theme in your Bullet Journal.
Of course, you can use anything you want, and the supplies you use will depend on the way you want to approach this theme. But here are a few of my favorite recommendations:
- Fineliners. These are the basis of your every Bullet Journal page, perfect f or setting up pages and adding decorations and doodles to it. My top pick is Sakura Pigma Micron, and that set comes with pens of different nib sizes, so you can get a wider variety of your line thickness.
- Markers. If you decide to add some color, you’ll need markers. There is a Galaxy theme set of Tombow Dual Brush pens that are perfect for that. Or, for a more budget option, try Crayola Super Tips, which come in so many colors that you can create anything you want with them.
- Brush pens. If you like brush lettering, you might want to get some brush pens to add to your Bullet Journal pages. I recommend getting Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens. They have smaller tips, so you can create many different projects with them. They are amazing and easy to use, even for beginners.
- Washi tapes. These are so easy to use to add uninteresting accents and decorations to your Bullet Journal pages. There are plenty of designs available; take a look at these holographic silver washi tapes for a stylish and aesthetic look, or look at these cosmic cuties washi tapes for something more colorful and doodly.
- Helix circle maker. There are a lot of circle elements when it comes to a galaxy theme, so you’ll definitely find this ruler super helpful! But apart from galaxy theme, this one will help you also create a bunch of other circular elements n your Bulelt Journal, like circle trackers.
There are many more amazing supplies I can keep on listing, but I think we have enough for now. Let’s finally look at the pages and see how you can put these supplies together into beautiful space-themed Bullet Journal pages.
Bullet Journal Space Theme Inspirations
Just like outer space is vast and limitless, so are the ways to bring it to your Bullet Journal pages. The limit is your imagination, and the world is full of so many creative people!
Here I gathered examples from different creators so you have a set of different styles and aesthetics to find something that speaks to you.
Let's dive in!
First of all, I'm really love the idea of matching your cover page with a quiet. It helps to set the mood for the entire month, and I love that this quote is kind of playing around with the monthly theme.
Secondly, this is a classic approach to the space theme, and it came out looking beautiful! As a person who loves doodling, I'm always up for this style!
This is a spread fu.ll of fun ideas for doodles and decorations you can add to your space-themed Bullet Journal pages, and I'm so here for it! I love the bright colors and the cuteness of all these ideas.
Even though I've been talking a lot about how colorful and beautiful space is, you can definitely still go for a black-and-white feel if that's more your style. And it can look just as stunning as any colorful spreads!
This is a very different approach to a monthly log, but I love it. I think the non-standart format really fits well with the theme, and I adore the wide variety of colors and pattern designs the creator used for all these planets.
This is a fantastic take on a space theme. Astronauts are a perfect fit, and I love the contrast between the black and white person and the sparkling blue space around it.
I really love this illustration; it looks mesmerizing with the colors and the sparks of white, but at the same time, it gives off a bit of a menacing feeling. I think it fits perfectly with how I would feel in space; it's all interesting and beautiful, but it's still pretty terrifying!
I adore this cover page and the cute doodles! The match of all the colors is beautiful, and I love how the creator matched color and white gel pen to create that wonderful galaxy clouds effect around the moon.
Beautiful and super cute ways to approach the space theme, the astronaut looks like they are having just the best time! And it's such a fun idea to make planets into balloons!
This mood tracker definitely has a lot of space elements with all the planets, but it also has clock doodles, so I'm wondering how these are connected. Maybe a mix of time and space travel, like Doctor Who?
This amazing tracker is for your social media statistics, but you can easily use the same concept and track your moods, for example!
I adore this set of cover pictures and quotes. It's also pretty funny how all the space doodles are hanging from the page, almost as if they are little toys in the baby's crib.
I absolutely love the idea of this cute little cat exploring the space! And it's a wonderful idea this creator had to add the gold accents and make the page sparkle.
This is such an interesting and almost philosophical idea for a space decoration. That we hold the entire universe within ourselves. And, of course, the illustration looks beautiful as well.
Watercolor really seems like the most prevalent material for creating a space theme, and I can't say I don't understand it. You can really achieve a pretty unique effect with watercolors that fit this theme so well.
Last but not least is this fun weekly spread. I think it's a clever idea: instead of one big illustration, add a small space doodle for each daily box.
