Bullet Journaling Supplies
In the wild world of Bullet Journal supplies it's easy to get lost, sidetracked and eventually find yourself with a mount of pens and notebooks you don't really use or like.
But I'm here to share with you the best find, this list will include all types of supplies, from journals to pencils, so you can build a varied and functional collection of the supplies you'll be using every day.
Let's dive in!
Let's start with a good journal, it/s is really the base, and it has the power to make or break your Bullet Journaling habit. Truly, issues like feathering, ghosting, or bleeding are mostly not about pens but about your journal quality.
If you're looking for a high-quality journal with a good paper, Scribbles That Matter is a great choice. They have 120 GSM and 160 GSM options, and I'd go for 160. Plus, you can use SAVE10 to get 10% OFF your order.
And if bright colors like this one are not your thing - don't worry. They have plenty of other colors available for all types of aesthetics.
Another thing to consider is a cover for your journal. Especially if you're planning to take it with you when you leave home, you want to make sure it's safe and not being damaged with the rest of the things you have in your bag,
My favorite covers are from Archer and Olive; they have a lot of different styles and types of covers, like my favorite gelly covers. Check out what they have in stock right now, and be sure to use code MASHA10 to get 10% OFF your order.
My favorite thing when it comes to Bullet Journaling is to use a pencil first. Whether you're doodling or drawing a grid of your weekly spread, having it in pencil first will allow you to ensure that everything looks good and is well-balanced. It's the best way to avoid mistakes!
So, a comfortable pencil is a must in my arsenal, and I think it should be in yours, too. This Pilot mechanical pencil is so far the most comfortable I've ever had, and I can't recommend it enough!
A good set of fineliners is a staple for your Bulelt journal. It helps you create all the lines, doodles, drawings, pretty, and anything else you need for your Bullet Journal.
There are plenty of amazing options out there, but for this post, I wanted to mention Faber Castell Pitt Artist pens that have smooth and rich black ink. As you can see, they also come in a set with different nib sizes, so you can have a wider variety of lines for your planning.
Another staple of your Bulelt Journal is a good writing pen. After all, you'll be writing in your Bullet Journal almost every day!
The choice of pen will depend on your needs and preferences, but I always recommend my favorite Muji pens, which are very smooth and help you create exquisite thin lines. It also helps t hat they have a simple but aesthetic look to them.
One more thing you should consider for your Bulelt Journal is washi tapes. They are such a versatile and easy way to decorate your pages!
I always recommend checking out this shop because they have so many different designs and colors of washi tape that you can definitely find something that fits your aesthetics.
I love stickers, and there are designs for all your needs and all possible aesthetics, from functional stickers that can help you add calendars to your future log to decorative ones that help you create a cohesive monthly theme.
My favorite place to shop for stickers is Etsy, and Rose K Paper Co. is my go-to store. They have tons of functional and decorative sticker designs to choose from, and their kraft paper stickers absolutely stole my heart!
Stencils are yet another little trick you can use to help you set up your Bullet Journal pages. Just like stickers, you have stencils that can be functional, help you set up your monthly logs and habit trackers, and decorative, help you add flowers to your journal pages or draw floral wreaths.
There are many options on where to get your stencils, but this shop is by far my favorite. They have a wide variety of stencils, and they all have the highest quality.
A good brush pen can help you add beautiful headers and brush lettering elements to your Bullet Journal. Small tip brush pens can also be used for drawing and doodling.
These Tombow brush pens are perfect for all these and more! They are also ideal for beginners, so if you're starting to dive into brush lettering, they are the best pens to get.
a good highlighter is always welcome to make sure all your most important things really stand out. But these particular ones also have a marker ti so that you can use them for other purposes as well.
These highlighters are my favorites for ease of use, but also because f the beautiful, slightly muted colors they have.
A grid guide is the best shortcut you can take for your Bullet Journal. It basically has all the measurements on how to divide your Bullet Journal page, so when you sit down to plan, all the math is already done.
For me, this is the best tool ever, and I use my grid guide every time I sit down to plan.
These colorful brush pens are perfect for brush lettering, but they are also great for adding color to your Bullet journal pages.
Tombow Dual Brush pens have more than 100 colors, so you definitely can choose the ones that fit your aesthetics the best. This bright set seems to be the most popular one, but for me it's all about the pastel set!
Last but not least are stamps. They are kind of like stickers; you have decorative stamps and functional stamps. So they can help you either decorate your page or set it up.
In this case, it's both.
