Cute Halloween Aesthetic Bullet Journal Setup
This October Bullet Journal setup is all about spooky made adorable!
I have been trying lots of different themes for that spooky month, and this time I wanted to do a holiday theme in a cuter style. Think happy ghosts, round pumpkins, and tiny bats in soft colors.
If you love cute Halloween aesthetic Bullet Journal pages, this Plan With Me is for you. I will show you my cover, calendar, and weekly spreads, plus the supplies I used. Everything is easy to copy, even if you doubt your drawing skills.
Grab your favorite markers, and letโs make this the coziest October together, page by page.

Ever sicne I started my first Bullet Journal in 2018, I feel like I have to do something Halloween-themed in October, but I rarely do, since the spooky aesthetic isn’t really my style.
However, my Patreon members gave me incredible inspiration. They voted for our monthly printable setup to be about cute ghosts, and it dawned on me: why not do the same for my personal journal setup?
And hence, this setup was born. I hope you like how it turned out; I find it very cute.

Stationery Used
First, let’s look at the supplies I used for this setup, in case you want to replicate it in your own journal.
- Nuuna journal โ this is still the same journal I started in 2025, and I have plenty of pages left.
- Altenew Fineliner Pens โ these are what I used for my fineliners this time. I tried them for the first time last month, and Iโve been absolutely loving them.
- Pilot Dr. Grip Mechanical Pencil – I sketch everything in pencil first, and this one has the most comfortable grip I have ever experienced.
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens – I have a lot of these and have been using them for a while, so the numbers are often no longer visible. As far as I can see, I used colors 291 and 772.
Okay, that is all I used for this little setup, so let’s dive in and look at the pages I’ve created.
Cute Halloween Bullet Journal Setup
Just to clarify, I think the key to this setup is really the color scheme. These two colors really work so well together! And I think they add something a bit more interesting than a typical pastel set.
As I did for the last few months, I didn’t go for too many pages. In October, I plan to move out of my apartment and visit my parents for a few months while I prepare documents for future plans. So I really needed my BuJo to keep me organized and inspired to plan, but without being too complicated or overwhelming.
Cover Page
Since we are going for a cute Halloween theme, I decided a cute ghost having coffee would be adorable, and to keep it more on theme, I made the ghost wear a witch hat.
Like I’ve been doing a lot lately, instead of coloring all the doodles, I just added little color accents. I think this created a special aesthetic feel for the layout overall.

Monthly Log
From my monthly log, I need two things. First, a space for a to-do list (since the amount of things I need to prepare and do during this month is overwhelming to even think about) and a space to add all the important dates I might have.
Therefore, I went for the same format I’ve been using for a while. I haven’t been a fan of the vertical monthly layout, but now it’s my favorite format; it is so easy to create! Plus, adding light grey to the weekends helps me visually divide the month into weeks.

Gratitude Log
I went back to a gratitude log last month, and it’s been really special. It really reminded me how much I loved this layout.
Last month, I did a word-a-day; this month I am way too busy to be that creative, so I’m going with a traditional line-a-day format.

Weekly Spread
Last but not least is my weekly spread. I went with a simple horizontal weekly spread, and the most important part for me was to have a large space for a weekly to-do list.
I tried to add a doodle of a cute ghost trick-or-treating dressed as Zorro, but I’m not sure it turned out the way I expected.

And that’s my entire setup. Remember, just because you see people using 10 pages every month doesn’t mean you have to, too.
Make your journal work for you and help you with your life. So if you just need a few pages, that’s fine, too. You can also make it look good without spending too much time on it. I think the entire setup probably took me less than an hour.
