Stationery Recommendations
Before we look at the pages, let’s talk supplies. You can absolutely just use one pen to daily write your gratitude, and it’s fine if that is what you want.
But I think it’s much more fun to do anything if you have the supplies that you love and that bring you joy every time you use them.
So here are a few of my favorite supplies you can use for your gratitude log and pretty much any Bullet Journal page.
- Fineliner. I think these are the blood of your Bullet Journal pages, helping you create any page you can imagine. They usually come in sets with different nib sizes, allowing for more line variety. My favorites are Sakura Pigma Micron.
- Markers. I love making things more visual, especially goals pages, and adding color definitely helps. You can use anything you like, and I often recommend starting with Crayola Super Tips since they come in many colors and are more affordable. But my favorites are definitely Zebra Mildliners.
- Stencils. Stencils are a great way to decorate your Bullet Journal or to just speed up the process of creating pages. You should try these stencils from Amazon.
We can talk about stationery for hours, so let’s just dive in and look at the gratitude pages that I’m sure you’ll love.
Gratitude Page Ideas For Your Bullet Journal
I hope by now you're excited to start working on your daily gratitude habit, and here are some page inspirations to help you with that.
This is just to get your imagination going because really, you can express your gratitude on the page any way you want to.
So, let's dive in and look at these fun and inspiring pages!
I'm not sure if the creator meant for the whole page to be a little journaling entry for the daily gratitude or if this is a place for daily gratitude for each day of September. Either way, this is a beautiful page, and it's a perfect way to write about the beautiful things you're grateful for.
It's a pretty useful idea to have two pages for your daily gratitudes; that way, you can get more detailed with all the wonderful things you're grateful for.
I think sometimes it's super fun to mix gratitude with something else you're working on, like your doodling skills. It's exactly what I did in my Space and Galaxy-themed Bullet Journal setup.
I must admiut it does look a bit crowded, but I kind like this feel.
I mention a lot on this list of monthly gratitude pages. But you can definitely do your gratitude differently as well. This is, for example, a gratitude log for Fall, and you can create one for each season if you want to.
I love the idea of seasonal gratitude lists, it definitely allows you to appreciate them more, as well as create a seasonally themed layout.
If you don't mind extra work, you can create separate pages every week for your daily gratitude. It gives you more space to express all your feelings, and it creates info a log of your daily life, which will be fun to look back at in the future.
Here is another monthly gratitude log, and here, the creator went with words and doodles for each day. I like this style, and I think going for black and white doodles fits this layout very well.
I'm not sure how to name this style, but it's basically me mixing all the different approaches together. As you can see, I used stickers, photos, washi tape, lettering, and doodles to express all the good things happening in my life.
This is actually a fun way to reuse your old planner and such, so you already have a designated space for each day to write your gratitude, as you can see this creator did.
I also really like that even thought it;'s just the text, the creator made it very interesting by using differnt colors and beautiful fonts to highlight extra important things.
I absolutely adore this idea. You can add a few lines every day until the entire page is decorated with all the gratitude you expressed that month. It is also a great way to practice your handwriting.
Gratitude loh is all about the content of the page, but it doesn't mean you can't make it a bit more fun. Here, the creator used beautiful and bright colors for a header that stands out and makes the page look that much more positive.
You don't have to do a monthly gratitude log; you can absolutely just create a random page any time and write down all the things you're grateful for like I did here.
I really like this idea because it is also a fun way to challenge myself to try different frame designs. Thankfully, it fit very well with my "back to school" theme.
We already talked about a weekly gratitude log, and you saw a pretty detailed two-page weekly setup for that. But you can absolutely go for something simpler and smaller, like this beautiful one-page gratitude spread.
Something simple like a little illustration, a shadow on your boxes, or a piece of washi tape can really elevate your layout design.
One more monthly gratitude log with beautiful pink colors. I love that the creator also colored every other line, so it's easier to distinguish between the days of the month.
Your gratitude log can be an expression of your style or the current theme you're creating. Just look at this absolutely stunning gratitude log!
Last but not least is this beautiful gratitude layout, where the creators challenged themselves to express gratitude only in one word. It's also a fantastic way to practice different fonts and lettering styles.
