Stationery Recommendations
Before we look at the pages, let’s look at some Bullet Journal supplies that can help you create that unique gratitude log you’ll love using every day.
Of course, you don’t necessarily NEED any supplies apart from a black pen and any journal you can get. But it’s much more fun to do things with some fancy and colorful pens.
So here are a few of my recommendations:
- Fineliners. These are the blood of every Bullet Journal page, and it’s prefect if you’re going for a doodly and decorative gratitude log. I’d recommend getting Sakura Pigma Micron.
- Writing pen. A good writing pen is a must for Bullet Journaling, and especially for your gratitude log. The perfect pen will depend on your handwriting style, I’d recommend Pilot G2 for thicker lines and Muji Pen for thinner lines.
- Markers. Something to add color to your pages, I know I can’t deal without something colorful. I’d recommend Zebra Mildliners, that have a marker and highlighter tip, and Crayola Super Tips, that come in many colors and are pretty affordable.
- Brush pens. These are perfect for adding beautiful lettering pieces to your Bullet Journal pages. I’d recommend Tombow Dual Brush for large tips and Tombow Fudenosuke for small tip.
I can talk about supplies forever, and since this post is not about that, let’s go back and look at different beautiful gratitude logs to find the one that inspires you!
Bullet Journal Gratitude Page Inspirations
Finally, we are here and these are some absolutely amazing gratitude logs that I found from different creators, each with their own style and aesthetics.
I’m sure you can find the one that fits your style and journaling needs among all these.
What a delightful gratitude log, and I love that even the dates are written in two colors – really adds a feeling of variety to the spread.
It actually might be a good idea if you have an A5 journal to maybe use 2 pages for your gratitude log. That way you’ll have more space to write.
I love the idea of making your gratitude log in the format of a monthly calendar spread. It's a very familiar and intuitive format, and I'm sure it looks amazing after being filled out with all the good and bright moments.
This design is so perfect and neat; the creator really played so well with the tiny doodles and blank space. The handwriting here is also absolutely incredible!
If you do monthly themes, you can design your Bullet Journal based on whatever theme you're rocking that month. This is an example of a gratitude log I did for my book's monthly theme.
I love how neat and well-organized this gratitude log is. Even though it's only one page, it gives so much space for each daily entry.
Mixing lettering and doodling in your gratitude log is a fun way to make a more visually appealing page while also expressing your creativity.
If you feel like one line of text or one word is not enough for your daily gratitude, you can always do almost a daily journal entry. Always remember that it's your journal, so you can do whatever you want with it!
This is my take on a doodle gratitude log with little bits of lettering. I made it according to my space and galaxy monthly theme, so some of these are my gratitudes, and others are just a part of the theme.
Isabel is a true artist, so I always try to include her spreads here. But don’t get scared or intimidated – you don’t have to be that artistic if you don’t want to.
This is a super fun way to set up your gratitude log. It takes a bit of extra effort, but it looks great, and I think it adds an extra layer of positivity with you filling out a new ray every day.
One of my favorite ways to set up a gratitude log is by creating a kind f collage, with doodles, stickers, photos and letterinmg.
I love how exquisite the blue porcelain drawings are.
Granted probably if you write your gratitudes in English this might not b enough to write a sentence a day, but maybe if you do a word a day.
I adore the idea of adding color to your gratitude log by coloring the lines. It created a great contrast and made it look so much brighter.
The only thing I would do differently is probably choose softer colors so the text is easier to read.
Loving this free-flowing format and mix of doodles and lettering.
Lately, I’ve been more and more obsessed with the idea of letting things play out and changing it up depending on how you feel that day. For me, it started from having a plan-as-I-go weekly spread, and now I’m inspired to try that in my gratitude log as well.
Another interesting way to add color to your gratitude log is by creating a colorful background for your header. Watercolor inks are perfect to achieve that effect!
It’s a beautiful spread, and I love how it’s divided. Will be really fun to see it after the pen.
I had to include this spread, it’s so pretty! Plus, I definitely have a weak spot for using kraft paper in your journal.
Are you looking for something different for our gratitude log? Try out a page of positivity notes! It has the same meaning, but it's framed differently by these cute boxes.
A word a day is a good way to play around with different lettering styles.
I love all these ideas, and I love this format because it makes you think double when you need to sum up all the joys of one day in just one word.
Nicole always has the cutest way of creating things, and the gratitude log is no exception. I’m really loving the mix of doodles and lettering here. It makes it visual but still very clear.
