With tons of Bullet Journal theme ideas out there, it’s easy to find yourself in a whirlpool of options, feeling a tad overwhelmed. But hey, that’s what I’m here for! In this post, we’ll sift through the myriad of possibilities together, cherry-picking a few gems to jump-start your creativity and help you craft a June theme you’ll absolutely adore.
Remember the time you stood in front of the ice cream stand as a kid, eyes wide, trying to choose between Rocky Road and Mint Chocolate Chip? That’s kind of what picking a Bullet Journal theme feels like sometimes. Only now, we’re adults, and our choices involve cute doodles, color palettes, and theme ideas instead of ice cream flavors (though, let’s be honest, why not both?).
So, whether you’re a BuJo newbie who’s just unpacked their first set of pens or a seasoned pro looking for fresh inspiration, I’ve got your back. Let’s dive into the vibrant world of June Bullet Journal themes, where creativity meets functionality in the most delightful way. Who knows? You might just end up creating a setup that brings back the joy of choosing that perfect scoop of ice cream, minus the sticky fingers!
Let’s talk about the secret sauce that makes Bullet Journaling even more magical: themes. Themes in your Bullet Journal are not just about making your pages pretty (though, let’s be honest, it’s a pretty big perk); they’re about turning your daily planning into an adventure.
Remember when you turned your grocery list into a pirate treasure map? No? Just me? Well, you could! Because that’s the beauty of it—anything and everything can be a theme.
Your favorite book, the cozy autumn vibes, a galaxy far, far away, or even your undying love for coffee—each can transform your BuJo into a personalized escape that not only keeps you organized but also sparks joy and creativity in your daily life. This isn’t just about tracking tasks; it’s about celebrating them!
This lineup of inspirations will get you blooming with creativity and ideas on how you’ll want to create your own June monthly setup.
And be sure to scroll until the end to get some FREE printables to help you create a unique Bullet Journal setup that includes a set of printable cover pages.

Stationery Recommendations
Before we dive into the inspirations, let’s talk about supplies. I know that the world of stationery is wide, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed and end up buying something you don’t like.
That’s why here I’ll share some of my recommendations for things that I know you’ll love:
- Fineliners. These are the basis for every Bullet Journal page and your faithful companions in the world of journaling. My top recommendation is the Sakura Pigma Micron, which also comes in different nib sizes, allowing for a variety of line thicknesses.
- Brush pens. Brush pens are perfect for adding brush lettering to your Bullet Journal pages, drawing, or even adding color. I would recommend the Tombow Fude brush pen for a smaller brush tip and the Tombow Dual Brush for a larger brush tip and significantly more colors.
- Stencils. Stencils are a great way to add decorative or functional elements to your Bullet Journal pages quickly. And unlike stickers, stencils are reusable. For Spring-themed pages, I think you would love these beautiful floral stencils.
- Markers. These are a must-have if you’re a fan of colorful pages. The choice of these depends on the colors you like. My favorites are Zebra Mildliner and Tombow Twin Tone.
Now that we have all your supplies prepared let’s dive in and pick your next Bullet Journal theme.
June Bullet Journal Themes
I know when it comes to June, I start thinking about all the bright and hapy Summer things. It's al abotu tropical flowers and beaches for me.
But the season doesn't have to dictate you what theme you choose. So for this lineup I trie to come up with all sorts of ideas to npire you.
Ok enough, time to dive into the ideas and inspirations.
I think the beautiful bright orange colors are a perfect theme for June, and I really like how this creator has a little quote next to the cover page to set the mood for the month.
June is my birthday month, so I always try to create a theme based on something that makes me happy. And I love makeup, even if I'm not a pro at using it. Plus, makeup items are so fun to doodle!
Flowers are a great theme for any time of the year, and I really like how this theme also includes the moon, and the creator used a Dutch door for the cover page.
I absolutely love this creative idea of bringing the space theme with an ocean theme - a space octopus! This one was also made with watercolor, and it's a perfect technique for creating a galaxy effect.
This cover page is a great example f how to put together a theme just by using different stationery items; no need for any drawing skills. A few pieces of colorful paper and some washi tape, and there you have yourself a stunning theme.
This is a different theme, but it is such a creative idea! And I love the play on color and the use of paint pens for such an effect.
Another thing I really love is tea, so of course, I had to try it for my June monthly theme. As always, I used my favorite Zebra Mildliners.
I feel like when you use kraft paper, it automatically makes your page look more aesthetic. And I love how Caitlin here added a bit of something extra to it with the adorable coffee doodle.
Polaroids are a very fun theme idea, especially because they are pretty easy to doodle. But if you want to level up a simple polaroid theme, this is a great example - just add more intricate doodles inside your frame!
If you want a simple theme, that's fine as well. And just because you keep it simple doesn't mean it can't look absolutely stunning, like this beautiful cover page.
Your cozy home that you love can be an excellent theme for your Bullet Journal setup. It's like bringing all your dream home decor designs to life with your Bullet Journal.
I think the beach and under the sea is a great theme for June, and this is a wonderful example of that. I love that the creator didn't use any black color on the page.
I love succulents; they are a fantastic way to decorate your home and your Bullet Journal pages! Plus, they are pretty easy to doodle as well, or you can use some cute stickers.
Summer is the best time to travel; the weather is already wonderful, but it's not too early yet to enjoy all the sightseeing. So it's a great theme to try in your Bullet Journal that month as well.
Crystals are always a great theme; they are so easy to doodle, and you can play around so much with different shapes. And colors as well, check what a beautiful and bright spread this is.
These particular roses are so easy to doodle, and they look absolutely stunning. I love that the creator used a purple color for them and how they used darker shades to create a beautiful shadow effect.
Last but not least is this beautiful classic tropical theme. I absolutely adore the lovely lettering on the page next to it as well!
