Plan With Me: September 2021 Bullet Journal Setup

Sharing is caring!

Hello Planning Mashers!

September is almost here, so it’s time for a new Bullet Journal setup. I must say the square journal made my creativity flow!

Yup, this is yet another Plan  With Me post and I hope you love the theme I chose.

And my theme is…. Coffee!

Usually, September is a back-to-school month for me but this time I started a brand new journal in August and I really wanted to start it with a stationery theme.

But coffee is just as good if you ask me! And so far I only did the coffee theme one time before, so I thought it’s a good time to revisit it.

One of the things I love the most about this theme is that it fits very well with craft paper, and I always love it when I can include other types of paper in my journal.

I use kraft paper from the kraft notepad from Archer and Olive – it’s very convenient, it’s 160 GSM, and it has a dot grid. Absolute perfection, I’m obsessed with their notepads.

If you decide to get anything from Archer and Olive, by the way, you can always use my code MASHA10 to get 10% off your order.

Ok, let’s dive in!

Quote Page

I started a new tradition with Princess Bubblegum (this is my current journal name) to create a quote page for each month.

This month is all about coffee (I wonder how many times I used the word coffee in this post. That can be a good drinking game!) so the quote is coffee-themed as well.

I like keeping quotes on the theme, but also kind of meaningful. The one from last month was more of a fun one, but this one is a bit more empowering.

It seems like a good match since September is the beginning of extra busy work time for me.

Cover Page

For the setup style, I went with minimal doodles and white text on black.

White on black is probably my favorite technique, and it’s been really a long time since I used it.

It’s funny because I had a completely different plan on where to put the kraft paper, but I got carried away and totally forgot I had a different thing in mind.

But I think actually it came out better than what I thought at first.

Monthly Log

I learned from my mistakes from last month, and this time I decided to create a larger monthly log.

There is a small area at the bottom for my to-do list since I find that I don’t really use my monthly to-do list much anyways.

Monthly Goals

September as I mentioned is the start of a very busy working period for me, so I had to have a goals page.

Time to get rid of the summer slump and get extra productive again!

You can find at the top the area for my blog, youtube, and shop ideas.

The square journal also gives me a lot of space, so I added a little quote. I found it so very funny that I had to add it.

Habit Tracker and Mood Tracker

Again I’m so happy that one page can fit both my habit tracker and my mood tracker. And I still had space to add a quote and my kraft paper.

I decided to track even fewer habits this month since I realized some of them didn’t really work.

But that’s ok, this is what I love about Bullet Journaling – you can always change and tweak it.

Gratitude Log

Always with me; every month is a gratitude log.

Even though I don’t always manage to keep it every day, I still do my best and see the benefit from it.

I find it weird that seeing good things becomes a skill I have to work on, but with the quarantine and everything else happening, I guess it’s just to be expected.

As always, be sure to check my post on Gratitude Log to learn why this is an amazing page that can change so much in your life.

Plan With Me

Finally, here is my Plan With Me video. I hope you give it a look.

That’s it for my September Bullet Journal setup, but I have something else for you.
