23 Weekly Bullet Journal Layout Ideas You’ll Want to Copy
A beautiful Bullet Journal weekly spread is the heart of a productive week. It’s the one place you’ll return to day after day, so it needs to be both functional and fun.
I remember when I first started, I’d get stuck using the same basic layout over and over. It worked, but it didn’t spark much joy!
Finding the perfect weekly Bullet Journal layout can completely change how you approach your planning. It’s all about discovering what works for your unique schedule and creative style.
If you’re ready to get inspired and find some fresh ideas to make your planner pages pop, you’re in the right place. Let’s look at some amazing weekly spreads that will get your creative juices flowing and help you organize your life in style.

Weekly spreads are the pages we create in our journals most often, and they are the ones that need the most adjustment, because each week is different and you might have different needs.
Thankfully, there are plenty of sources of inspiration in this blog post and in others (check the end of this post) to help you find the perfect mix of functionality and creativity.
The important thing to remember, I find, is that your life changes and your weeks don’t always look the same, so the moment a certain weekly spread is not working for you, just try a different format or style.
Before we dive into the layouts in this blog post, I wanted to mention that at the end of the post, you can find some FREE Bullet Journal printables, including several weekly spreads that will help you create a perfect journal for your needs.

Stationery Recommendations
But first, let’s talk about stationery. It can help you create your pages faster and make them more fun and exciting, so you’re looking forward to opening your journal.
So here are a few of my favorites:
- Fineliners. I recommend Sakura Pigma Micron, which also comes in a set with different nib sizes, allowing you a variety of line thicknesses.
- Markers. Your choice will depend on what colors you like. My top choices are Zebra Mildliners and Tombow Twin Tone.
- Brush pens. To add beautiful brush lettering to your weekly spreads, you need a good set of brush pens. I recommend Tombow Fudensuke since they have smaller tips and are pretty easy to master.
- Stencils. These little helpers are great to allow you to set up your weekly spreads faster. I recommend these weekly spread stencils that are built specifically for your weekly pages.
Ok, now that you have all your supplies ready, let’s look at these weekly layouts and find one that sparks your creativity.
Weekly Bullet Journal Layout Ideas
There are several different basic formats for a weekly spread, and even more different ways to decorate and set it up.
I have created plenty of weekly spreads since I started journaling in 2018, and in this blog post you’ll find 23 different layouts. Some of these are my pages; others are from other talented creators, so you’ll definitely find ideas and inspiration for your own weekly layouts.
And if not, there are more inspirations at the end of the post, so just keep on scrolling.
One Page Bullet Journal Weekly Spread

Let’s start with my own weekly spread that has been one of my favorites lately.
One-page weekly spreads are my go-to these days, especially since my journal is a bit bigger than an A5 notebook, so just one page gives me plenty of space for all the planning I need.
In case you wonder, the journal I use here is Nuuna.
Cute Floral Weekly Spread
This is a very simple, straightforward format that also gives you plenty of space for decorations like these cute little flower doodles. I also really like the entire color scheme for this layout.
This is a wonderful layout for beginners, and it easily shows how you can spend a bit more time to add interest to your weekly spread.
Black And White Weekly Spread
Black and white layouts can be just as stunning as colorful ones, and this one absolutely blows my mind! I also love how the creator added gold accents; it’s always an easy way to add a spark to your layouts.
If you’re looking for a gold pen, I don’t recommend more than the one this creator used – Sakura Gelly Roll.
Cute Weekly Spread
I love that adorable style the creator used here. With the cute cat? rabbit? dumpling? sticker in the corner and beautiful pastel colors, this layout looks gentle and welcoming.
There are several ways to make a page more cute, and this creator used them all – cute pastel colors, small rounded doodles (preferably with animated faces), and rounded shapes for daily boxes.
Cute Drinks Weekly Spread
I love how bright and beautiful this layout is. As you can see, the boxes and headers are simple and easy. And the doodles in the middle look incredible! Plus, I will always give an extra point when people use my favorite Zebra Mildliners.
Floral Weekly Spread
This layout looks incredible, and the creator really chose a fantastic color combination. It doesn’t have a lot of space for trackers and other things. But sometimes a set of daily boxes is all you really need.
Comic Book Themed Weekly
Here is a very different and creative layout – the daily boxes are simulating panels in a comic book, and I love the little fun elements and the bright colors the creator used for this layout.
I’m pretty sure the markers used here are Crayola Super Tips that have so many amazing colors to choose from, so you can really create any theme you like.
Mushroom BuJo Weekly Spread
This weekly spread is pretty simple in terms of decorations, but it looks stunning with all those little elements together! Plus, the creator really built a fantastic color combination here.
Lemon Weekly Log
First of all, I absolutely adore the colors here; who knew that blue and yellow work so well together! Secondly, I love the little lemon slices the creator used as tabs for all the different weekly spreads that month.
Also, looking at the blue elements on this page, I really feel like the creator was inspired by Portuguese tiles, because I can see these in Lisbon on every corner.
Bee Themed Weekly Page
I adore how beautiful and colorful this layout is. Seems like the creator used Tombow Twin Tone markers, which are definitely perfect for capturing the deliciousness of honey!
Floral Bullet Journal Weekly Spread

Here is my take on a floral weekly spread. Since I made the daily boxes smaller, there was still plenty of space for the floral doodles and all the other small elements I needed in that week.
And if you think you need to be an artist to draw flowers – think again. This was only a few months into journaling for me, and I couldn’t draw anything. But I followed tutorials from this book on drawing florals, and it came out looking like I’m an utter pro!
Snail Mail Weekly Log
I love how this creator turned snail mail into a theme in your Bullet Journal. The weekly spread looks cute, and the snails are drawn in so many details!
Vertical Weekly Spread
I love the bright and vivid colors of this layout! And the fact that the creator had plenty of space in every day to add stickers and more visual elements to their planning.
Minimalist One Page Weekly Spread

This page is very simple, and because I already knew the measurements, it was very quick to set up.
This is one of the best tips for you – record all your measurements, like create a little grid guide, so you can easily know how to divide your page into even sections. This helps speed up your setups so much!
Gentle Cloud Weekly Log
The structure of this weekly spread is pretty easy, and there is so much space for all the tasks. But as you can see, the creator really made it stand out by creating this beautiful illustration in the middle of the page.
It has a watercolor feeling, but that is because you can actually use Tombow Dual Brush pens as watercolor. And if you want to know what that shiny effect is- it’s a white gel pen. I’m not sure which one the creator used, but my recommendation is definitely Sakura Gelly Roll.
Cute Ladybug Weekly
This layout looks incredible; the illustrations are very detailed and realistic, and yet somehow even cuter than the real thing!
I love that the structure of a weekly spread gives the creator space to plan the week and add cute illustrations.
Circle Weekly Spread

Another format you can try in your Bullet Journal is a circular weekly spread. I must say, functionally, it’s not really that good. But it is something fun to play around with and get creative.
Simple Cupcake Weekly
This is an easy format, and the creator really didn’t overcomplicate it. The cupcake stickers are really what make this layout look extra special.
Grayscale Weekly Spread
Not using color can look amazing, and this is one more proof of how beautiful it can be. And I can see that the creator used some amazing pens – Kuretake Zig.
Bullet Journal Weekly
To contrast the black and white layout, here is one that is beautiful and bright. I love the idea of adding some color and decoration throughout the page, except in the planning sections.
I think this might’ve taken a lot of time to fill out the entire page, but it helps that the creator chose a mostly circular design. Actually, you could play around with different patterns to fill out the page – it would make setting up this page almost meditative.
Tilted Weekly Spread
Even the most basic weekly formats, like a vertical weekly, can be elevated with something as simple as a bit at an angle and a few blotches of color.
This is such a simple way to decorate your layout, but you can’t argue with the fact that it creates a special aesthetic that really makes this page stand out. The gentle botanical doodles are also a great detail.
Honey Themed BuJo Weekly Page
As always, I’m in love with the bright colors and how easy it is to set up this weekly layout with stickers. Yes, this creator also has a sticker shop with plenty of amazing kits to help you easily create beautiful layouts.
Structured Weekly Log
If you are very type A and have a lot of information you need to include in your weekly spread, this layout is probably the best inspiration for you.
I love how clever the creator was when setting out this layout and the little spark of color added here. It’s just enough green to make the layout stand out.
