29 Weekly Bullet Journal Layout Ideas You’ll Want to Copy
A beautiful Bullet Journal weekly spread is the heart of a productive week. It’s the one place you’ll return to day after day, so it needs to be both functional and fun.
I remember when I first started, I’d get stuck using the same basic layout over and over. It worked, but it didn’t spark much joy!
Finding the perfect weekly Bullet Journal layout can completely change how you approach your planning. It’s all about discovering what works for your unique schedule and creative style.
If you’re ready to get inspired and find some fresh ideas to make your planner pages pop, you’re in the right place. Let’s look at some amazing weekly spreads that will get your creative juices flowing and help you organize your life in style.

Weekly spreads are the pages we create in our journals most often, and they are the ones that need the most adjustment, because each week is different and you might have different needs.
Thankfully, there are plenty of inspirations in this blog post and in others (check the end of this post) to help you find that perfect mix of functionality and creativity.
The important thing to remember, I find, is that your life changes and your weeks don’t always look the same, so the moment a certain weekly spread is not working for you, just try a different format or style.
Before we dive into the layouts in this blog post, I wanted to mention that at the end of the post, you can find some FREE Bullet Journal printables, including several weekly spreads that will help you create a perfect journal for your needs.

Stationery Recommendations
But first, let’s talk about stationery. It can help you create your pages faster and make them more fun and exciting, so you’re looking forward to opening your journal.
So here are a few of my favorites that I’m sure you’ll love and find useful as well.
- Fineliners. These are the basics for every Bullet Journal page, perfect for drawing and doodling. I recommend Sakura Pigma Micron, which also comes in a set with different nib sizes, allowing you a variety of line thicknesses.
- Markers. If you want to add color to your pages, you’ll need some markers. Your choice will depend on what colors you like. My top choices are Zebra Mildliners and Tombow Twin Tone.
- Brush pens. To add beautiful brush lettering to your weekly spreads, you need a good set of brush pens. I recommend Tombow Fudensuke since they are smaller tips and pretty easy to master. If you’re looking for a larger brush pen and something with tons of colors, you can’t go wrong with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
- Stencils. These little helpers are great to allow you to set up your weekly spreads faster. I recommend these weekly spread stencils that are built specifically for your weekly pages.
Ok, now that you have all your supplies ready, let’s look at these weekly layouts and find one that sparks your creativity.

This is a very simple and straightforward format, and it also allows you to have plenty of space for decorations, like these cute little flower doodles. I also really like the entire color scheme for this layout.
This weekly layout seems so organised and well-structured. The creator manages to create so much space for all the different areas they need to build the best week.
Black and white layouts can be just as stunning as colorful ones, and this one absolutely blows my mind! I also love how the creator added gold accents, and if you're looking for a gold pen, I don't recommend more than the one this creator used - Sakura Gelly Roll.
I love that adorable style the creator used here. With the cute cat? rabbit? dumpling? sticker in the corner and beautiful pastel colors, this layout looks gentle and welcoming.
One-page weekly spreads are my go-to these days, especially since my journal is a bit bigger than an A5 notebook, so just one page gives me plenty of space for all the planning I need.
In case you wonder, the journal I use here is Nuuna.
I love how bright and beautiful this layout is, as you can see, the boxes and headers are simple and easy. And the doodles in the middle look incredible! Plus, I will always give an extra point when people use my favorite Zebra Mildliners.
This weekly spread is very easy to create - you just need to divide a page by four. But this creator really made it special by adding so many decorative elements and even a bit of memory-keeping elements to the daily boxes.

This layout looks incredible, and the creator really chose a fantastic color combination. It doesn't have a lot of space for trackers and other things. But sometimes a set of daily boxes is all you really need.

This weekly spread is pretty simple in terms of decorations, but it looks stunning with all those little elements together! Plus, the creator really built a fantastic color combination here.
This weekly spread looks stunning, but honestly, I have a weak spot for all the layouts that use kraft paper. I think it automatically creates a beautiful and cozy atmosphere on your layouts.
First of all, I absolutely adore the colors here; who knew that blue and yellow work so well together! Secondly, I love the little lemon slices the creator used as tabs for all the different weekly spreads that month.

This is an easy format, and the creator really didn't overcomplicate it. The cupcake stickers are really what make this layout look extra special.
This creator actually has a sticker shop, so you can easily get these exact stickers to create a weekly spread like this one in your BuJo.
Not using color can look amazing, and this is one more proof of how beautiful it can be. And I can see that the creator used some amazing pens - Kuretake Zig.
To contrast the black and white layout, here is one that is beautiful and bright. I love the idea of adding some kind of color and decoration all over the page, except for the planning sections.
As always, I'm in love with the bright colors and how easy it actually is to set up this weekly layout if you have stickers. Yes, this creator also has a sticker shop with plenty of amazing kits to help you easily create beautiful layouts.
