April Bullet Journal Theme Inspirations: Rains and Umbrellas
There are many Bullet Journal themes to choose from for April, but today we’re talking about rain and umbrellas.
And trust me, it doesn’t have to be a dull grey theme. These April cover pages will inspire you to try out this theme in your journal right away.
I had no idea what to do for April, so I did is asked you on Instagram. The most popular offer was – April showers.
But I also felt like I wanted to do something less doodly and more aesthetic.
That’s why my setup is a bit different and might not even look like a rain Bullet Journal theme.
Don’t worry, though; if you keep scrolling, you’ll also see tons of pages that are much more clearly “April Showers” themed from other creators.

April Bullet Journal Setup
I’m excited to share this setup with you.
It kind of looks different from my usual style, but I wanted to try something different and I like the way it turned out.
Plus, be sure to keep on scrolling to see my Plan With Me video.
Cover Page
We’re starting from a cover page, and I love the minimalist look it turned out to have.
I’m also so glad I finally got a chance to use these washi tapes.
They are a bit transparent, but I kind of like it that way.
Monthly Log
This month I’d going back to a calendar monthly log.
Whatever I try I always come back to this one.
Plus I also have this space under the calendar to write my usual monthly content ideas.
Habit and Mood Tracker
As always lately I’m combining two trackers into one.
I’m really loving this color scheme. You probably guessed it by now, cause I’ve been using these colors for the last 3 months.
Doodling Challenge
As always, I’m keeping a special page for our monthly doodling challenge.
If you don’t know, we’re hosting a monthly doodling challenge on our Patreon.
There are tons of rewards available, and you can join for as little as $1 a month.
Gratitude Log
Of course, a gratitude log has to be a part of my monthly setup.

April Umbrella Bullet Journal Theme Inspirations
This was my take, but here are some inspirations from other creators.
I’m sure you’ll find here something that would inspire you.
It’s a beautiful cover page, and I’m loving the different patterns on the umbrellas.
I’m loving the audition of white gel pen lines, they really add dimension to the umbrellas.
Such lovely trackers, and I’m loving the bright colors.
I’m also loving the creative way to have the umbrellas hanging upside down.
A perfect example of this being a good theme for any month.
And I’m loving the different shades of orange; looks so good, especially on contrast with the black.
I love this idea of combining two weekly spreads in one.
And, of course, I’m loving these cute little umbrellas.
Technically this is a page at the end of the month, but I think it works very well as a cover page idea.
Again I’m in love with how the colors make rain look like such a happy event.
I can’t figure out if it’s a cover page or a monthly log, but I think it would work perfectly as both.
Loving that contrast of red and black.
This one is more on the colors with the theme, and I’m loving it.
Crayola Super Tips was also a good coloring option since the box comes with so many different shades of blue.
Monochrome colors are perfect for this theme and look classy.
I love the quote and how it’s kind of related to the theme.
A very simple design idea but a beautiful one.
And I’m impressed with how neat it looks!
I love this cover page and the beautiful purple colors.
I think it’s fun how the shadows are in darker purple.
This match of colors is so perfect, peach and pastel pink. Who knew?!
It’s a perfect match for this theme, I think, because it’s grey, but it still has a bit of warmth and fun.
I love the beautiful pastel colors and the cute quote on the left.
It’s fun to see that that creator also chose the same type of font for them
Beautiful and very well-structured weekly log.
I’m loving the pastel colors of the umbrellas as well.
I love this cover page and the contrast between grey and yellow.
