15 August Bullet Journal Theme Ideas
I can add probably thousands of different ideas to this list, but let's keep it manageable and stic to 15.
They all have different themes and were created by different people, so each has a unique style and aesthetics. Among this wide choice, you're sure to find the one that speaks to you.
So let's dive in and find you that winning theme for your August setup.
For me, any month of Summer is about vacations and tropical landscapes. An easy way to bring this feeling to your Bullet Journal is by creating a theme with tropical leaves - they are so easy to doodle, and there is a wide variety to choose from.
Moreover, this is a fantastic way to play around with all the shades of green you have in your collection.
August is usually a time for vacation when you take a break and travel, so why not bring the same spirit to your Bullet Journal?
I love this tale on the theme, where the creator just added little pictures of the places she visited or wants to visit.
Summer being the season for all types of fruits, it seems like a perfect theme to try! Plus, t here is such a variety of fruits of all shapes and colors so that you can create a truly unique take.
Stationery is usually a September theme since that's back-to-school time. But August is when you prepare and actually get all your supplies, so I think it still works!
Minimalism looks absolutely stunning in your Bullet Journal, and it also does' n't mean that you can't use anything extra. This cover page has a quote and subtle decorating with washi tape, making it look stylish but still minimalist.
Flowers are the classic Bullet Journal theme. You can see them at any time of the year, and it was actually the very first theme I tried in my Bullet Journal.
I love this idea, especially since the creator turned the cover page into a Dutch door; I wonder what's hiding behind it.
Weather can be a huge inspiration for your Bullet Journal, so you might want to create a theme based on the weather where you're at. or where you want to be.
In t his particular cover page, I adore the colors used; they look so good together!
Space is a super fun theme because out there, you can find all types of shapes and colors, and you can let your imagination go wild.
I would usually think that buildings are pretty hard to draw; you need to be so precise and detailed. But this monthly log proved me wrong. It just shows you that the only real limit to your imagination is yourself!
A fun idea for a theme is to use just one color pen, in this case, a metallic gold one, but I think any metallic one would look absolutely stunning. And isn't it fantastic that the creator used florals to fill out the empty spaces?
In case you're wondering, this gold pen is a Sakura Gelly Roll; these are some of the best gel pens on the market!
This creator was going for a cozy theme, but also something that would have a hobbit aesthetics to it, and I think they absolutely nailed it! It's such a fun idea for a theme to try to create a certain feeling on your Bullet Journal pages.
Summer is famous for its fireflies, so it would make sense to use them as a monthly theme. I love how, for this particular cover page, the creator used watercolor to add a colorful background so the shining of the fireflies is even brighter.
I don't know if I should call this a monochrome theme or a pencil theme, so I'm calling it both. Whether you want to decorate your pages with pencil doodles or create a monthly theme with just black, this is a wonderful inspiration.
I think it's a fantastic example of how using an interesting font can be a theme by itself and all the decoration your journal needs.
Kraft paper is an easy way to make your pages stand out, and I think it really adds that extra classy feel to your spreads. It's really a perfect theme to try since just the paper is enough of a decoration.
Last but not least is this theme idea - polaroids. It's an amazing idea since polaroids are so easy to doodle. You can play around with it a lot; you can create polaroids with different colors inside, or you can draw something special in each of them.
