Stationery Recommendations
Of course, you’ll need some supplies to create the beautiful quote pages. You can surely use whatever you already have in your arsenal. It’s a really faulty assumption that to have a Bullet Journal and to create beautiful pages you need a lot of expensive stationery.
However, if you feel like leveling up and adding some extra supplies to your collection, here are some of my favorites for creating quote pages:
- A comfortable pencil and eraser. The best way to make sure that your quote and Kettering look perfect is to start with a pencil, and you’ll need a comfortable one. My top picks are a Pilot Dr. Grip mechanical pencil and a Sakura Foam Eraser, which is white and doesn’t leave streaks behind.
- Fineliners. These black pens are perfect for creating any type of lettering or doodling project. They are a general must-have when it comes to creating Bullet Journal pages. My recommendation is Sakura Pigma Micron, which also comes in a set with different nib sizes, allowing you more line variety.
- Markers. If you want to add some color, you might need markers for that. I always recommend Crayola Super Tips since they come in many colors and are pretty affordable. My personal favorites are Zebra Mildliner and Tombow Twin Tone for their beautiful colors.
- Brush pens. Finally, if you want to add some brush lettering to your quote page, you’ll need brush pens. My tip choice here are Tombow Dual Brush Pens that come in so many colors and have a marker tip as well, allowing you to create thinner, more detailed lines.
Now that you have all your supplies ready, let’s get comfortable in your home office or just on the couch and pick some ideas for your next quote page.

This is another beautiful quote, and you can't deny that the main hero of this quote page is the brush lettering. I love that subtle grey shadow added to the lettering.
This quote I added when I was doing a book-themed Bullet Journal setup. This is a quote from one of my favorite authors, let me know in the comments if you know who it is!
As you can see, you can do incredible work for your quote page, even if you just use one color. And if you feel like you need a variety try to use different font styles.
Another fun way to make your quote page stand out by using extra elements, like washi tapes, stamps or even kraft paper.
In this particular spread I also really love the use of gold pen.
A fun thing about a quote page is that you don't have to create a piece that covers the entire page. Here is me using only a little piece in the center and it absolutely works!
Out of context this might be strange, but if you consider this is a part of mushroom witchy theme it all makes sence. I love that here the creator used a banner for a part of the quote.
I love this spread for all the elements - fun fonts, beautiful bright colors and fun stationery doodles. I think this quote also speaks to me as a Bullet Journal addict.
This is your classic Fall quote for a cozy Fall-themed monthly setup. It looks simple and yet very stylish. This quote page is a great example that less is more.
In case you don't know how to do brush lettering, you can always settle for faux calligraphy like I did here. And if you use color, the secret is in finding the ones that work well together.
Beautiful lettering, especially brush lettering, can be enough to create a quote page to remember. This spread is a great example of it.
