Stationery Recommendations
One thing I want us to talk about before we look at the weekly spreads is stationery you’ll find useful when recreating these in your Bullet Journal.
Let’s be clear: you can definitely simply use anything you already have, but I always find that having great stationery you’re excited about makes the process more fun and pages even more creative.
- Fineliners. These are the basics for every Bullet Journal page, perfect for drawing and doodling. I recommend Sakura Pigma Micron, which also comes in a set with different nib sizes, allowing you a variety of line thicknesses.
- Markers. If you want to add color to your pages, you’ll need some markers. Your choice will depend on what colors you like. My top choices are Zebra Mildliners and Tombow Twin Tone.
- Brush pens. To add beautiful brush lettering to your weekly spreads, you need a good set of brush pens. I recommend Tombow Fudensuke since they are smaller tips and pretty easy to master. If you’re looking for a larger brush pen and something with tons of colors, you can’t go wrong with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
- Stencils. These little helpers are great to allow you to set up your weekly spreads faster. I recommend these weekly spread stencils that are built specifically for your weekly pages.
Now that you have all your supplies and are ready to start creating, let’s dive in and look at some Bullet Journal weekly pages.
Bullet Journal Weekly Page Ideas
Considering how many weekly spreads we have to create each month, I think it's important to have as many inspiration as possible, so you always know that there are different ways to set it up if it's not working for you.
That's why, even though I shade many of my pages, there are also plenty of ideas from other creators with different needs and styles.
This is your usual horizontal weekly spread, but I added my spin to it. My goals section helped me add an important task that helps me with my daily goals so I know what to prioritize.
I love how the creator of this spread follows one color scheme, allowing the creator to use all the shades of green they have. I also think they used colorful paper too add some of the daily boxes, which is always an easy and fun way to elevate your weekly setups,
If going decorative is not really your think, you can always go minimalist. This is an extreme minimalist design, since you can see the creator only used what they had to, and it's all done without any decorations.
I still think it looks stunning though, especially considering how neat the handwritiong of the headers is.
If you only want to use one black pen but want to do something more elaborate, here is the idea for you! And yes, the creator here used a brush pen for the lettering, but you can always do faux calligraphy with the same black pen you used for the rest of the page.
If you don't wnat to have daily boxes, something like a running to do list I have on the left side of the page might be a good choice for you.
IU started using just the running to do list, but pretty soon realised I still love my daily boxes so I used it more like an addition to my weekly spread rather than a separate one.
Collage Style Weekly Bullet Journal Spread
I have already mentioned that, but using different elements like different types of paper is a great idea to add interest to your Bulelt Journal. Here the creator went full in by also including other aspects like a dry flower. It's almost too beautiful of a spread to even use!
This seems like a pretty simple weekly page, but it has an amazing twist. As you can see, each day has a little area with 24 boxes, allowing you to track your time or use them as your daily schedule, you just need to add a key (like the only on the side there).
A beautiful way to elevate your black and white spread is to use metallic pens, like the golden accents the creator added to this gorgeous floral weekly.
Sometimes, you might not need the full two pages to plan your week, and that's when you can create a one-page weekly page like this one.
I love how neat and well-organized this weekly spread is. It's a perfect combination of decorative elements and productive elements. I see the creator even added a key for color-coding their tasks!
If you are a fan of having a schedule and routine do your days, having a spread with a time log that will helkpo you plan things hour by hour might be a great idea.
I absolutely love the aesthetic and colors of this page. The addition of washi tape and the elements with different paper also adds creativity to the design.
Last but not least is this amazing example of a minimalist weekly spread, but I ;pve how the creator added fun headers and slight color accents to add variety to the page. I think it's also a wonderful idea to add daily gratitudes to your weekly spread.
