Aesthetic Bullet Journal Setup | February 2021 Plan With Me
How is it possible that the first month of 2021 is almost over already?! Time flies just too fast if you ask me.
But enough of being an old lady; it’s time for yet another Plan With Me post. Let’s talk Bullet Journaling and, more precisely – my February Bullet Journal theme!
I had an amazing plan for my February, with a super cute roses theme and a bit of a spin – I was excited about it!
But alas – my supplies for this theme didn’t arrive on time, so I had to improvise, and so I did.
I was a bit upset about having to change the theme, and also kind of in the mood for a more minimalist style. Minimalist really matches my current mood, but let’s see if I feel a bit more colorful in March.
These were my moods, and I honestly had no idea what to do. Until…. Archer and Olive Valentine’s Day Box came and brought something magical to my life.
A golden acrylograph pen! It is so beautiful and the ink flows so smoothly that I just had to use it for my theme.

But back to my theme. I had to use the gold pen and I really felt like I wanted to create something more aesthetic, so I went with … well, I don’t really know how to call this theme, let me know in the comments if you have any ideas!

Supplies
A short rundown of the supplies. This time I went practically full Archer and Olive.
My notebook is an Archer & Olive A5 journal and the acrylograph pens are from Valentine’s box, which has been my favorite lately and even inspired my January Bullet Journal Setup.
Oh, and of course, I used paper from kraft notepad and blackout notepad. Notepads have been my obsession lately and I decided it’s time to put them to use and not just admire how pretty they look on my desk.

Cover Page
This was probably the first time I used so much paper to create a Bullet Journal setup, and I must say I enjoyed it! This kind of scrapbooky style is very simple to set up, and yet, I feel like it looks so aesthetic.
The cover page is simple lettering with a frame. I want to note here that acrylograph pens take some time to dry so be careful not to smudge like I actually did with my ruler.
So instead of gentle thin lines, I got the thick ones. But I kind of like it that way eventually, so that’s a plus.
Monthly Log
February is such a perfect month – it starts on Monday ends on Sunday, and has 4 weeks. I just had to create a larger monthly log for that.
To add some more interest I decided to add some black paper in the corner so I can use the white pen to create a corner of the monthly calendar. Isn’t it a cool effect?
This time I totally forgot to create my usual section for the content plan, but I’ll be adding it later I think.
Habit Tracker / Mood Tracker
As always, I managed to put those two together, but this time I changed the format quite a lot compared to my previous months.
I started working on a few new habits in January, so I needed a bit more from my habit tracker. That’s when I remembered how useful vertical habit trackers are and how many habits you can easily fit there.
I’d usually use icons for symbols in my vertical trackers, but somehow this time I went with the first letters of each habit.
As you can see, this little column on the right is actually my mood tracker. Thanks to a perfectly symmetric February, I managed to fit all the days here and since I’m using the same colors all the time, I don’t need to create a key.
I usually use my Zebra Mildliners for mood tracking, and I’ve been using them for almost a year already. It’s now so easy for me to see and understand all the moods in my tracker from just one glance. That’s why even though these colors won’t be fitting this theme, I’m still using them.
I tried changing the colors in my June setup, but it made it very confusing for me to use the tracker and understand it. This led to me not really getting the benefits of having one. Therefore I’m choosing to use something that helps me even though it will definitely ruin the page aesthetics.

Gratitude Log
Of course, as every month, I have my gratitude log.
What I love about this theme is that just a few pieces of different colored paper made the gratitude log look so much better even without any writing.
I really had a lot of fun playing with the contrast of the paper and the pen colors.
Morning Routine
A new page that you probably haven’t seen me doing for a long time – a morning routine.
I love creating routines, they help you be more productive and take better care of yourself. Be sure to check my post Creating Routines In Your Bullet Journal For Structure And Success.
Morning is one of the most important times of the day and it’s so important to have a good routine so you can start your day on a positive note.
So finally after months of being kind of all over the place, I started developing my own morning routine. I haven’t been doing it for a long time but I can feel how the days when I follow through with it I really feel better.
I decided, therefore, to add it to my Bullet Journal as a bit of a motivation for me to actually follow through with it more often.

Be warned – since I needed to be careful with acrylograph pens smudging before they dry; there’s quite a lot of journal turning in this one.
Plus, if you see me going over my black lettering a few times it’s because my Tombow Fude pens are so old that they are almost out of ink. I really need to buy a few new ones.
