Header Ideas For Neat Notes
An interesting header can absolutely transform your notes. And is it just me, or do you also work with the information better if it's presented cutely?
And trust me, creating cute headers is easier than it seems, especially if you get some ideas from the examples below.
Blue And Purple Headers
Starting with these beautiful bright headers. Some of these are done with brush lettering, but as you can see, even if you don't do that there are still many pretty options.
I must say, apart from these headers looking amazing; I love the color combination here. It's also a fun way to create headers with blank letters outlined by color.
Hot pink is a beautiful color, but it also creates a great contrast with black, as you see on this headers.
Black And White Headers
Who said that your headers have to be colorful to stand out? How amazing are these ideas? I love how they combine different fonts with doodles.
Magical Header Ideas
I guess this is not the best name for this set of headers, but with quit and that potion, magic is all I could think of. But you don't have to limit yourself to this idea, feel free to use them for any other type of Bullet Journal theme or notes.
Pastel Header ideas
Beautiful pastel colors with some bright yellow accents. And one more example that you don't need to learn brush lettering to create beautiful headers.
Monday Header Ideas
The headers for the days of the week are probably mainly for a Bullet Journal, but you can definitely use these ideas for your notes as well. Also, note how these beautiful headers were created with simple highlighters and a pen anyone has.
Three Colored Headers
This set of headers shows you how many different creative things you can do with just a few colors. I'm also super in love with these markers!
If green is your color, here are a few fun and creative ideas for adding it to your headers. I love the contrast green has with black.
Speaking of green, check my post Green Bullet Journal Theme Inspirations.
Love how these headers are slightly Valentine's day themed, but also not really. It's the muted colors, for sure! But also don't concentrate too much on colors; all the ideas in this blog you can use with any colors you have.
Here are some header ideas I came up with. As you can see, most of them don't require any special lettering skills, and you add so much character to your headers when playing with colors and contrast.

Stationery For Bullet Journal Headers
There is a limitless amount of pens and markers you can use for creating headers, but here are a few of my recommendations.
Sakura Pigma Micron
Finaliners are definitely the best pens for drawing and decorating your notes or journals. Some of the best fineliners out there!
Zebra Mildliner Highlighter
These are my absolute favorite pens; you probably will see them on 90% of my pages. The colors are beautiful, and you can also find them in a brush pen form.
Tombow Dual Brush Pen
I love these brush pens and the fact that they come in such a crazy amount of colors. Plus they have a double tip, so if you don't know how to do brush lettering, you can always just use the marker tip to do some faux calligraphy.
Staedtler Triplus Fineliners
If you want to add color to your headers, you don't have to use markers. You can definitely just use colored pens, and these are fantastic.
Finally, try out using stencils; they will help you not just with fonts but with fun and creative banners. This set has 30 different ones and is very affordable.
