Stationery Recommendations
As always, let’s talk about stationery! You need some supplies to create your pages, and it’s always more fun if you’re using pens you love and that bring you joy.
So here are a few of my favorites:
- Fineliners. These are the blood of every Bullet Journal page and are perfect for drawing and adding grids for any layout. I recommend using UniPin or Sakura Pigma Micron; each of these comes in sets with different nib sizes, so you get several line thicknesses.
- Markers. Something to add color to your pages if this is your cup of tea. This choice depends on the colors you like; for me, it’s all about Zebra Mildliners and Tombow Twin Tone markers. But I also highly recommend using Crayola Super Tips; they are great quality, come in so many colors, and are quite affordable.
- Brush pens. If you want to add some beautiful brush lettering to your layout, you’ll want a brush pen. For colorful, I’d recommend using the Tombow Dual Brush pens, and for small tips and dark black lines – Tombow Fudenosuke.
- Stickers. It’s a fun way to decorate your pages, and I especially love using stickers in the skincare pages. Here are just a few awesome sticker sets I can definitely recommend: Planner Sticker Pack (Rest is Self-Care), Spa Sticker Set, Skincare Sticker Sheet, Self care and Beauty stickers.
- Washi Tape. This is a fantastic and easy way to decorate your pages, but you can also use washi tape in a lot of practical ways. I recommend you check out Washi Tape Shop, since they have a wide selection of all types of designs and sizes, and you can find something that fits you.
Ok I don’t want to make this post all about stationery, so let’s just dive right into the wellness ideas for you to try in your Bullet Journal.
Wellness Bullet Journal Ideas
Wellness is a wide topic, and there are plenty of different approaches you can take with it. From mental health to your daily sleep, there are many factors that together build a wellness-centered life.
In this post, I've gathered 15 ideas from different creators, each with their own vision of what wellness is and what kind of things they need help with.
So you'll be able to see now only different approaches, but also different styles and page ideas. I'm pretty convinced you'll find something that speaks to you, but if not, there are some more links and ideas at the end of this post.
Let's dive in!
It's very important for your mental health and general well-being to understand your emotions, but I was really surprised when I realized how difficult it is and how sometimes it's easy to categorize your emotions in the wrong way and end up with wrong conclusions.
So, this page idea is actually fantastic, allowing you to categorize all emotions so you can work with them better.
Physical health is just as important for your life, so there will be several ideas here that help you to be physically the best. This is a workout tracker for an entire year.
I think it's a great idea, but if you are feeling like a yearly tracker is too much of a commitment, you can definitely start smaller, with a monthly tracker or maybe even a weekly one. The important part is to start building that habit of being physically active.
I don't know if you'll agree with me, but for me, skin care is a part of wellness. Considering that with age, you end up needing to use different types of serums and build different routines, I found it very useful to have a layout like this to ensure my skin looks its best.
I truly believe in the power of words and our minds. So, daily affirmations, for me, are a wonderful way to build a more positive mindset and reset your brain to work on the background to build a happier life.
I prefer to say my affirmations, but writing them down is an even more powerful practice.
Some days are just very blue; this is the truth of life. But you can definitely make it easier for yourself to deal with it and maybe even help yourself feel better if you have a plan.
This layout is basically a plan with different ideas on what to do. to help you go through low days, and I think it's very powerful. After all, often, when you feel low, you end up just rotting on the couch, and this is not a great way to help at all.
I have never seen anyone do a page like this, but. this is why it's so interesting to get inspiration from other creators. I would've never thought of a layout like this, and yet it's such a positive and motivational page!
I think it's great to realize that you're doing great, you're doing your best and celebrating the victories you have every day.
Something that is probably the most important thing for our wellness is to get enough sleep. When things get busy, sleep is the first thing to go, and that just makes things worse. Getting enough sleep and having a good, consistent sleep schedule is crucial!
A sleep tracker like this one is there to help you see your sleep patterns and find the routine and schedule that works best for you so every morning, you're well rested and ready to conquer the world.
Despite what they say, self-care is not selfish. As you know, you can't pour from an empty glass, so you have to enszure you're taking care of yourself.
This little routine spread has ideas on habits to do for yourself and a little tracker to ensure you actually do at least some of these things every day.
This ultimate tracker is my dashboard for everything I do for my physical health, whether these are new habits or something you're already used to doing. It creates a fantastic and motivational view of all the little things you meticulously do every day to take the best care of your body.
As you can see, back in 2018, when I created this tracker, I was not doing well. However, I want to believe I'm doing much better with it now.
You are what you eat is, unfortunately, true. No matter how physically active our life is or what vitamins you're taking, if your food is no good, you will feel like shit. Tested and proved by personal experience.
Having a meal planning layout in your Bulelt Journal will definitely help you make better choices with your food and ultimately ensure that you're always full of energy and in your best shape.
I've been doing weekly resets every Sunday, but I never thought of turning it into a separate layout. However, now I know I definitely should!
This is a fantastic idea; you get to have a little review of your week, set priorities for the next one, and ensure that you know what is happening and how you can get a little bit closer to your goals. It's a wonderful idea that gives you so much control over your life.
Routines are the best ways to build new habits and a better lifestyle. Routines help us to make better choices without spending mental energy on decision-making.
This is an example of the morning routine, but you can create routines for everything - morning, evening, workday, cleaning. Any tasks that can be turned into a routine should be; this will make your life so much easier, trust me!
We already discussed how important it is to take good care of yourself, so I wanted to introduce this page. This is a list of ideas for things you can do for yourself, and I especially love how the creator divided it into different categories and needs.
Remember when we talked about the importance of understanding your emotions? Well, a mood tracker can help with that as well.
The concept is easy - each day, you track what kind of emotions you've had. It will help you see new patterns and generally get a better outlook on what is happening in your head and how you can take better care of yourself.
Last but not least is this idea of a brain dump. This is honestly the best way to offload your mind and feel less overwhelmed by everything happening in your life. For wellness, this is a must-have layout and a practice you should probably do as often as you feel like things get out of control.
It's pretty easy - you offload everything on your mind onto this page, and once you're done and take a breath, go over each item, see how long it would take to deal with it, and when you can fit it into your schedule. Or find a different place in your journal to add it, like putting that new coffee date into your monthly log.
